Song Description
‘T4L’ is a very dark Hip-Hop track with heavy elements of Grunge and light elements of Rock music. To begin with ‘T4L’ stands for Thug For Life as is said in the chorus several times. Many are confused by the songs direct message due to the slick writing method of Allura Silk. She never mentions a name nor do she reveals why she will bring harm individual she speaking of.
‘T4L’ is a track about seeking revenge on someone who has harmed you. Silk opens up with the heavy message “Fuck a to be continued, I am going to get you”. It is unknown how whoever harmed did so however she references why she is so angry and must get them back several times. When she says lines like “If he used you he used me”,“If he hurt you he hurt me”,“Don’t toy with my heart, You did it, now its murder on sight”. The lyrics suggest anything from infidelity, domestic violence, or sexual abuse. However Silk does not go into details and leaves it to the listener’s imagination.
Throughout ‘T4L’ Allura Silk mentions she and her gang of ladies are readying to murder the men they seek vengeance on. Silk delivers slick lines like, “Imma stand by my word” “I got the bullets, let’s roll” “Call me the government” “I know where you rest your head”. She uses the term “gang” and “girls” to identify the women who have experienced the same things she has in regard to the man she is out to get. She also mentions that she has a gun and she has the right to bear arms and she will. The track ends with Silk promising she will bring him his karma with “Mark this day and my words”.
