Reza look around the room and notices that their cast is here. "Oh! Great! Everybody is here!" She gives a small wave to Vara - whom she already knew relatively well - and Isaac Lovelock, who she had only met during the casting calls. "Alright. For those who we haven't been able to speak to directly, I'm Reza Vranitzky and this lovely blonde next to me is Astra Thivierge."

Astra gives a little wave and smile.

"And we're so insanely excited to have you all here today."

Astra smiles and picks up the script in front of her. "I guess we should run through the character list, just so you have a better idea of who your character is. Now, keep in mind, we set up this character, but we want you to bring whatever you think that character needs to better flesh it out. It's like we've given you a shell of a person, and now you have to crawl inside the shell and give it life."

"Gross," Reza comments about Astra's flesh shell metaphor, and Astra shakes her head.

"Whatever, you know what I mean."

Astra continues, a smile on her face, as if she were talking about her own child. "We cast each of you for a reason, because we thought that not only would you bring your best to the character, but that also you already sort of encapsulated the character enough to really bring the personality to light without... well, without trying too hard." She laughs.

Vara leans over to Nadia. "My character is a whore. That's so fucking encouraging," she whispers with a grin on her face.

Astra and Reza both give Nadia a small smile when she apologizes for laughing. In all honesty, they didn't mind people having a good time - in fact, they hoped that they would - they just wanted everything to stay professional, yet fun.

Vara giggles as well at Nadia's laughing. "Which character are you? Emily? Fuck, our characters work together. Get ready. There are going to be some sexy scenes in this show." She winks, a joking tone to her voice as she leans back and closes her eyes, continuing to listen to Astra and Reza. She had become somewhat friends with the two creators during the casting process, and was already completely relaxed around the two.

"Alright, so let's go over some of the character now..." Reza starts. "Let's begin with Ronan." She smiles at James Urie. "Ronan is a film studies major, he lives with Delilah and Molly-" she motions to Veronica and Ansley. "-and he has a crush on Emily." She motions to Nadia in the back.

"We thought that you might be too good-looking for this role, actually, James," Astra comments with a grin.

"Yeah, Ronan is kind of geeky. We're going to have to geek you up a little bit," Reza agrees.

"But still attractive, though. I think geeks are attractive, at least."

"No, geeks are totally attractive."

The two women grin at each other and then look back at their cast.

Nadia sighs once Reza mentions she'll be playing James' crush in the series, "Greaaaat," she says sarcastically, before smirking at him. "Don't worry, sweetie. Strictly professional... as your wife strangely made me promise over Twitter," she laughs.

Nadia bites on her bottom lip at his reaction, as if to stop herself from speaking, as she just assumed he was aware Gemma had sent out the messages, she hoped she hadn't caused a problem between them by speaking about it. "Oh, umm... yeah," she stutters awkwardly. "Don't worry though, I can see where she's coming from, we're all here to play a character and have fun with it as you said, so it's all good."

James shook his head taken a back by Gemma's actions as Veronica mentioned something about it too some days ago via twiter. Gemma really took it too far. But now that they were "separated" James felt a weight was lifted off his shoulders. He looked at the two creators "She's gotten a number 1 single now. She doesn't need me anymore, she's more focused on her becoming a star and what I am doing and threatening my colleagues" he looks at Nadia "But seriously, it is all good. We'll talk more about it later" James grinned trying not to make it awkward with the Gemma talk. "Yeah, we're all here to have fun" James was pretty upset that Gemma spoke to Nadia, and in turn made Nadia seem a bit distant, but over time he knew he'd break past that. He just didn't want to break news of Gemma and his separation to an open environment. "Everythings fine!" He laughs

Nadia hears her phone vibrate in her pocket and pulls it out, noticing a tweet from Gemma. She sighs once she reads it and rolls her eyes, putting her phone back away and choosing to ignore it. She had been friendly enough to reply before, but now she found it fairly annoying, but she decided to not say anything to James. Despite trying not to, she let out another laugh at Vara's comment, "Meh, she cares about the guy. Maybe a little too much, but hey, that's her business."

Veronica looked at James as he arrived. It all brought back memories of when his wife, or ex wife, sent her a DM through twitter telling her to be professional. Now Veronica was many things; rude, obnoxious, shallow, crazy, and maybe a little too intelligent for her own good but she was always professional. She was used to being in different scandals after her whole thing with Rory so she wasn't afraid. However, she always had the chip on her shoulder, BCStyle. She didn't want to do anything that would cause people to shun them or her dream so she had to play it safe. When Astra starts talking about her character, Molly, she grins widely. The part was perfect for her and even more fitting? Her best friend in real life was her best friend on the screen so the chemistry was already there. "I told you guys, this part was written for me." She giggles and then smirks. "Hell, I like Clara too. I could be either one, pretty sure that doesn't speak great things about myself."

"Oh my god, I'm so excited! Delilah sounds like a delight, and so does everyone else's characters." Ansley was excited about everything to do with the show. Even though she had gotten a warning about acting around James Urie, who she thought was amazing and had a crush on, she wouldn't dare get caught up in that drama. It was clear that he had some baggage from his marriage and she just wanted to act and get through the shoots. Her mind would be focused and determined. "

Reza smiles brightly at Veronica and Ansley, happy that both of them seem so excited by their parts. Her eyes drift around the room, stopping at Isaac Lovelock and Ethan Plyth. "Our handsome men can't be forgotten either. Ethan is playing Adam Aldaine - the used-to-be rockstar boyfriend. He used to be just like Molly, which is why they were so perfect together."

"Yeah, I think during brainstorming this character, we decided that Adam and Molly met during a Reported Failure concert and ended up fucking in a port-a-potty," Astra adds.

"Right, yeah! Well, now Adam isn't that crazy anymore, and his role in the relationship has gone from 'boyfriend' to 'guardian.' Adam's parents died when he was younger, and he's since be using his inheritance from them to pay Molly's rent, her bills, and anything else she could want. He still loves Molly, but doesn't like the dependency she has on him." She nods, finished with her analysis.

"And Mr. Leo Sedgwick," Astra starts, motioning to Isaac. "Leo's father is a big business man who owns a lot of properties around San Jose. To teach Leo some business and life skills, his father puts him in change of one of his properties - one that he thinks is reletively low-risk."

Reza reaches into her bag on the floor and pulls out a couple photographs. She flips through them until she finds the one they took of the outside of the apartment. It's a small building with only four sets of living accommodations inside of it, set in the middle of the city. The building is tall, however, giving each of the living accommodations a second story. The apartment looks like it used to be gorgeous, but time and laziness has whittled away at it, and now all the paint has chipped off and the vines that grew around the side are dead and yellow. One of the windows on the bottom floor is boarded up. The sidewalk is dirty. Reza passes the picture around to show everybody, whispering as she hands it to Veronica to start the passing around, "Welcome to your new home."

"It's easy to see that Leo's father probably didn't look at the place he was assigning his son before giving it to him," Astra continues on as the picture gets passed around. "Anyway, Leo's not completely business-like, like his father is. He's much more of a people person than that - or at least he wants to be. Leo's kind of socially awkward - adorable, but awkward. Probably the most genuinely nice person in the cast of character, but nobody really takes him seriously. In fact, it's an on-going joke that they've shorted him on rent several times, and he's just been too nice to say anything."

"Also," Reza adds. "He has a huge crush on Delilah, who is pretty oblivious to the fact that he likes her at all."

Astra beams. All their characters, all laid out in front of them. "We're so excited."
