Although the couple was never married, they lived together until Greta Lewis' death in 2001 from a heroin overdose when Evangeline was twelve years old. Since that day, Evangeline and her father have been inseparable. Moses Wolfe became Evangeline's manager, co-writer of many of Evangeline's songs, and a general helicopter parent since then. Many people who know Evangeline would say that it's because of her father that Evangeline is the way she is. The words "childish," and, "selfish" have been used to describe her, but so have the words "childlike," and, "naive." It's obvious that after Greta died, Evangeline was spoiled and showered with love by her father. Not a lot can be say about Evangeline besides that. Her father has kept a strict eye on her since she was twelve, and hasn't let her out of her sight since. She's never been seen at parties or clubs, never seen with friends (besides her father, if that counts), and she's never ever, of course, been seen with a boyfriend. I have fans! Plural! And not just my dad and people from my synagogue! Real fans! People I've never actually met before! WEIRD! Anyway, I just want to thank each and every one of you. Ever since I released my first single six months ago, I've been on a rollercoaster that only goes up, and it's all thanks to your support and love. Even though I've never met most of you and don't know your name, know that I really do love and appreciate everything that you do, and I'm sure I would want to be your best friend if I ever met you. I mean it! I have just one more little gift for you before I release my big gift! Tomorrow, I'll be releasing my third single, "Stay Strong, Drift On," for free download on my website, just for my fans... and anybody else who happens to want it. ;) It's the title song from my upcoming debut album so I'm super excited for you all to hear it. It was co-written by the beautiful wonderful Ms. Reza Vranitzky and I, and we are both more than pleased to share it with you, free of charge! And don't forget about my big gift that I'll be giving all of you in February: My debut album, "Stay Strong, Drift On" featuring a couple of wonderful people whom I love very very very much - Carmen Grant and Yasmine Kiambang. Both of them were absolute pleasures to work with, and I hope I get to do so again very very soon. Well, I think that's all I wanted to tell you guys!
