Digital Spy caught up with the five Titans to talk about their comeback and what's going on in their lives right now. How does it feel to be finally back? Joey: "Really good!" Martina: "It feels amazing. We are all so incredibly excited." Laurence: "Yeah, after almost one year we just couldn't wait anymore to work together and see each other like we used to. I mean, we still did that while recording the new album but not as much as we did before going on break." So the new single is called 'Phoenix'. What's it about? Martina: "It is about not giving up in life and standing up after a tough moment, so it is one of our typical positive, feel-good kind of songs. Very beautiful." Den: "Yeah and I think people will find this single to be really original in its lyrics and in its sound." You're also shooting the video for the song next week. What can we expect? Tanya: "Oh, a lot of special effects. Really, really a lot." Den: "I think it's going to be the best video we've ever done! There are going to be a lot of symbols and messages related to the song." What about the new album? Are you still recording it? Laurence: "No, we have pretty much finished recording the tracks. We're just giving them the finishing touches to choose the tracklist now." How would you describe the new music? Any change in the sound? Martina: "Yes, our sound has definately changed. It is much more mature now and it is not as cheesy as it used to be! We still make the catchy Pop that we do but this time it's a little different. You will have to also quite understand the songs, their meanings. Joey: And yeah, well, there are songs with adult themes like sex, something we don't usually sing about, you know." Are you guys planning a new tour with the release of the new album? Joey: "Oh, yeah! There are a lot of songs on the new album that we can't wait to perform." Laurence: "We're actually planning to go on a new world tour later this year." Most of you are now married with babies. Are you going to take your families with you on this tour? Laurence: "Well, we'll try but it's not easy to travel the world with kids for months, especially when they're too young like our children." Martina and Den, you two will also experience parenthood soon. How does that feel? Den: "Ah, we're too excited for it! Everyone keeps giving us good advices and I just can't wait for my baby girl to arrive. I only wish I had a partner to share this incredible thing with, just like it had to be when I decided to have the baby." Martina: "Yes, to know that you will be growing up a child with the person you love feels actually so good and I am so happy to have Nate with me." Will this make you feel a little broody, Tanya? Tanya: "No, I'm ok for now. But we'll see." The Titans will premiere 'Phoenix' on May 3rd. Check out TitansGalaxy.com for more news.
