"Fine, fine, fine! I won't touch a thing!" Alec calls back with a laugh when Honor yells for him to not go into the kitchen until she's done. He sits down on the couch and cycles through his messages on his phone, responding to a few of them, but ignoring most. Most of them were emails from his students, asking questions about things that he had answered in class they day - if they had only been listening.

Alec smiles when he hears Honor in the kitchen, making the food. He catches a couple glimpses of her from the living room, checking out what she was wearing. She always managed to look gorgeous, no matter what. "Man, the service here is wonderful," he jokes when she brings him a glass of wine, leaning up to kiss her before taking a sip of it. "Great year, too, no less." He winks. He takes her hand and pulls her down to sit on the couch next to him. "How much longer do we have to go until the food is done?"

"I promise I will tell you if I don't like it," Alec says back with a laugh and a shakes of his head. Of course, he wouldn't ever do that. Even if he absolutely hated what Honor made him, he would still eat all of it and ask for seconds. In his mind, insulting a girl's home cooking is just about one of the worst things somebody can do. "And don't worry. I have a great, big tip planning for my server when this is all over. The kind of tip she'll be telling her friend about for a while." He winks back.

"Hm. From how good it smells in the kitchen, you won't hear me complaining if you want to make dinner more often," Alec says back, giving her another small kiss. He had been extremely happy with their relationship lately as well. In his mind, everything was going perfectly, but he was willing to believe anything about their relationship at this point. He was pretty attached to Honor, and - although he didn't know the full extent of Honor's somewhat betrayal of his trust - he would be willing to forgive her for almost anything at this point.

Alec comes into the dining room and looks over Honor's masterpiece of a dinner. He smiles widely at her and then holds up one finger, signaling to give him a second. He tucks back into the kitchen and comes out with two fancy candlestick holders with long white candles in them. He places them on either side of the table and lights them, then dims the light in the dining room. "It looks and smells absolutely wonderful, Wynter," he tells her as he takes in a deep sniff and then walks over to Honor's side of the table, pulling her chair out for her.

Alec pushes Honor's chair in and then walks around to his own, sitting down. "Really, Honor, thank you so much for this," he says, still a little shocked by how wonderful she was being. She was always wonderful in his mind, of course, but something about the way she was acting tonight made him remember why he fell in love with her in the first place. She always seemed to try to act so cool and unconcerned with other people, but when they were alone together, that's when he really saw her sweet side come out.

"Don't worry. Your secret is safe with me and the twelve people that follow me on Instagram as I upload this picture of my meal," Alec says back jokingly as he takes a bite. "Oh my god. Honor, this is serious great." He takes another bite. It was much better than he had expected for it to be. "I mean, I'll be honest, I probably would have lied to you and told you that it was good even if it wasn't, but I'm really glad that I don't have to lie to you now, because I'm kind of shitty at it."

"Oh, yeah. All my followers love my pictures of my dinner, and my 'getting ready for the weekend!' selfies," Alec says back sarcastically, shaking his head at social media in general. He occasionally even forgot that he had a Twitter, and he was definitely hardly ever on it. To him, it was just another way that the world was trying to justify the idea that every thought somebody had was worth expressing - a theory he absolutely detested. He took a sip of his wine and then took another bite of chicken, letting out a satisfied sigh.

Before Adam would reach the house and knock on the door, Den is lying on his bed wearing only his pants while having some bedcover on his legs. He is thinking about the fact that he is going to meet Adam again, he had never met one of his exes after a breakup before. Every relationship he had was always finished for good, but with Adam it felt different and Den can't help but think of all the good moments he had with him, of all the plans they had before breaking up, of how they fell in love at the first sight when they first met. Howewer, despite all the good thoughts, Den begins to feel a little scared and unsure as he keeps thinking about what's going to happen. He could be making a mistake. Yet he still finds the strength to get up from bed, go into his bathroom to wash himself and get ready for this meeting. Then, about twenty minutes later, as he's putting his shoes on after the rest of his colorful but still elegant clothes, he hears someone knocking on the door - it's Adam. So he immediately gets up and reaches the front door running. Then he takes a deep breath and nods. He's finally ready and so he opens the door and sees Adam standing there.

"Hey!"

A huge, excited smile appears on Den's face.

Den chuckles while noding at Adam.

"You know how I like colorful clothes. They reflect my positivity."

He says as he tries to sound funny and keep Adam smiling. He then steps back a little and waves his hand at himself as he tells Adam "Come on, get in. This also used to be your house once, remember?"
