In Hiding... (1 of 2) is the debut EP of Vietnamese-American recording artist Reese Hollinsworth, released on May 22nd, 2014. After finishing high school at the age of 17, he began recording his own covers of songs he had favored over the years. Recording sessions took place in the entirety of April 2014 at Flux Studios in New York City. As executive producer of the album, Hollinsworth took a big role in most of the album's aspects, including the mastering and production of songs in the album. There were 47 songs that were recorded for the album, 10 of which made the standard edition, with 10 more reported to be in the deluxe edition.

The tracks in the album are all covers, which are all originally by the multi-Grammy-winning artist Beyoncé Knowles, which are mainly written in R&B and hip hop genres. Some songs in the album also feature Arabic and soul music, with minor elements of dancehall and disco. The album will be released as a compact disc and a vinyl disc, with digital download as an available option, as well.

Upon its release, the EP was received with generally positive reviews from critics. Metacritic, which assigns all albums with a score out of 100, gave the EP a score of 88, indicating "critical acclaim." Andrew Hampp and Erika Ramirez from Billboard gave a positive review of the EP, especially giving praise to "Sweet Dreams", which "gave the song the reinvention it needed with minimalistic means of instruments and simply vocals that gave the song a living soul," and acclaimed the 45-second vocal run that replaces the bridge in the cover, saying it "was unheard of in a male artist, or any artist, for that matter," and "shows potential Earth-shattering vocals that will change the industry the same way Beyoncé did." However, Josh Modell from The A.V. Club, who gave the EP an B+, criticised said vocal run, saying it was "unnecessary" and "a tad bit show-off," but also praising the deluxe edition's closing track, saying Hollinsworth's vocals "gave the song vulnerability and strength when it needed them."

On June 6, 2014, the EP was officially submitted to the Golden 15. In the week ending June 13, 2014, the EP debuted at number 21 with 105,000 copies sold.
