"Why do I get the feeling I'm some sort of Honor Wynter personal project?" he teases. "I still can't believe how far we came. Who would have thought we'd be here in bed all cuddled up when a few months ago we were like worst enemies?" He chuckles. "I think the sexual tension was so evident back then though. Everyone knew you wanted me..." Kai smirks, knowing Honor was the one person who didn't mind being teased like that. "I'll be strictly professional, love. I'll claim I'm there scouting for models for Drop Dead or summat. No one will suspect a thing." He kisses her gently. "I will. You are pure perfection, and I'm one lucky guy."

Lexi arrived outside the cafe, where she was to meet Elyar for their date, on her bike. She was still too young to have her license and only had a permit. She could have drove here but it would have required her grandma coming along and she didn't want that. Since they had to have their first date at her house, which made things completely lame, she wanted this date to go much better. She locked her bike to the bike rack before heading inside to meet Elyar. She walked over to where he was sitting, smiling as she got up closer to him. "Hey stranger."

Lexi blushes when he kisses her. "Thanks," she says shyly. She pulls out her chair and sits down. "Um yeah, maybe just a little something."

Lexi smiles. "Thanks, that's really sweet of you." She reaches over to grab it from him. "Do you know what you want yet?," she says while looking down at the menu.

"Yeah, me too. I think I'll just have a muffin and maybe a smoothie or tea." Lexi puts the menu down on the table and looks up back at him. "This is a really nice place. Never been here before either," she says while looking around.

"That is pretty weird. You don't seem like the muffin type at all," Lexi says laughing. She plays with her hair. "Really? I thought you took all the girls here." She stares blankly at him before laughing again. "I'm kidding of course."

"I think I love them a lot more then you. Lexi smiles. "That's sweet. Makes me feel special."

"So true." Lexi begins to feel nervous. She hopes that what he has to tell her isn't something bad. With her luck it probably was but she manages to set her fears aside for the moment to here what he has to say. "What is it?"

Lexi felt relieved, realizing that he wasn't going to tell her something bad, and smiled. "You really had me scared there. I thought you were... well never mind that's not important. Yes, I'll be your girlfriend."

"Honestly I thought you were going to say something on the lines of I never want to see you again. That sort of thing. Stupid, I know. I just have bad luck with this sort of thing." Lexi moves a strand of hair from her face. "I mean it," she says grinning.
