In many eyes, although being certified platinum in just a few weeks many industry execs have called the album one of the most underrated albums in recent years. The album swayed through genre's like R&B, Hip Hop and Mainstream pop like it was nothing with Chloe standing front in center with her signature vocals that are very well recognized or her gritty raps that has made her a beloved acts amongst the urban crowd proving once more that Chloe is one of the most versatile acts of our time. During the weeks leading up to the albums official release, Chloe sent three different songs onto radio to set her fans up for the new album. "The One", Btches Ain't Sht and Nothin But My Heels on were all serviced to radio before the album's release with "The One" being the most successful out of the three. Whether or not which is your favorite isn't the exact question as Chloe showed different sets of personality and versatility with each of these records. Easily singing on The One, getting sensual on Nothin But My Heels on and rapping relentlessly on Btches Ain't Sht. The question is, what would be the next single off of this critically acclaimed album. The many potential singles for the album as the record holds 14 tracks, Chloe has gone with "Rebel On My Own" as the next official single taken from "Born Free" Rebel On My Own (Hands In The Air) is a Hip hop, Alternative Dance, and Alternative fuse that has Chloe intelligently rapping over a bouncy and catchy beat alternative dance beat. The record was written by Chloe with production from Diplo. The main thing that stands out about Rebel On My Own, like many of Chloe's songs is that it can appeal to all crowds. Although the record is mainly urban, the song also has a clubby vibe to it's productions and would fit perfectly on the dance market. Over the synth filled dance beat, Chloe raps about being a rebel on her own and not needing anyone as she egotistically raps. What people do not know about Rebel On My Own, is that is was once started out a freestyle with Chloe playing around in the studio over a beat Diplo sent her and after a while she added a chorus to the sound and made notes of the freestyle bars she spit and that's when Rebel On My Own was birthed. Chloe sounds confident over the record as the record is about self confidence and not needing anyone else, for you to come in at number 1 as you go through life. The chorus is another stand out point for the track as the beat picks up and Chloe raps over the catchy chorus. Each verse of this song features a to the tea rapping skills from Chloe Smith as female rap continues to be a main stand out in today's music, and although some in the past have not noted Chloe as an urban artist, with the latest release of Born Free and releases like this, people have finally given Chloe the respect she has earned for not being a pop artist, but a fully fledged urban rapper. The best of both words no? Chloe makes it look so easy. Here's the continuation of her story with Rebel On My Own. The single hits stores and radio on June 1st. I say that because shes trying to appeal to get a bigger audience which will in turn give her a bigger paycheck most likely and more exposure. I do find her lyrics to be kind of lifeless and hard to relate to but I guess not all artists really have to be about their lyrics. I think the best part of the song is the beat. It's different and easy to listen to. But I still feel that, what two albums is it, that there's still a lot left to prove in her artistry. I haven't heard a hip hop track from her where it was straight hip hop and good. I think she's really made for Pop, which isn't an insult at all. But I kind of like the track?

Yes its only my second album and I still feel I have a lot to prove and say. I'm continuously growing musically and like you say, I still feel I have a lot to prove so yes I agree.
