"Yer, in England it just rains water, love," Kai says with a little wink. "I'm joking, I am. I know the phrase well mate." After telling her he needed to talk to her, Kai sits back in the chair and rubs his hands across his face, nervous about how to say it and how Faith would react. For all he knew it could be the last time he saw her, and he definitely didn't want that to happen. He sighs when she walks in and sits down on the couch, looking at her and rubbing his hand gently across her thigh. He gives her leg the gentlest of little squeezes as if to reassure her, although it was probably Kai who ironically needed the most reassuring at that moment in time. He smiles at Faith as he stares into her eyes silently for a moment. The two had come a long long way, not just as a couple, but also as individuals, since they had first had sex in a nightclub bathroom 10 months before. "The thing is...love," he clears his throat and unbuttons the top of hus shirt, convinced it's choking him now. "Thing is, Faith...I wanted to talk to you about change and that. A lot of things changing for me in the last year, know? But you know I love you, innit?"

Kai had never previously gotten to know anyone that well at all, but he had got to know Faith, and he could see in her eyes that she was somewhat terrified about the whole conversation, even when she smiled. He shakes his head a little and reaches out to hold her hand. "'ey, what you cryin' for, love?" he asks when he hears that little waver in her voice. "I in't wanting to talk about owt bad." He laughs a little and places a finger under her chin, tilting her head so he can kiss her softly. "You're so fucking beautiful. All I was thinking was anlit how you've changed me. When we met, we were just fucking...no strings. Then I saw i liked you and we became more than that. Even since then, you've shown me i had the capacity for summat i never dreamed i could. To love someone. I honestly look at you every day when I wake up and I just think how lucky I am to be laid there with you next to me. I don't ever want that to end."

When Kai and Faith kiss, it seems different to anything he had experienced with her before, soft and sweet and full of care and affection. If there was one thing no one could accuse Kai of in this relationship it was being willing to change. He was always prepared to grow with Faith and learn from her, which was something he had never been willing to do for anyone else. For him it was a sign of true love. When she talks about how much she loves him, Kai smiles at her and nods, pressing his forehead gently against Faith's. "I know, love. And I love you more than I could have ever imagined. And more than anyone could ever love another person. I'm not sure about fate, but if it's true then I know that we were meant to bump into each other for sure. Who knew when your puss was bouncing down on me that night that it would be a precursor to something more amazing like this. But....." he sighs. "Browds, I love you being my Browds. But I don't want to you to be my Browds anymore," he says, giving the subtlest hint.

Kai sits still for just a few moments with his forehead pressed against Faith's. It was a sweet moment of contact between the two which almost said more than words or their very sexual nature could. Kai breathes softly for a moment before he sits back when she reacts to his statement. This was the moment at last for him, and he could either back down and pretend like nothing happened, or do what he wanted to do more than anything in the world right then. Taking a deep breath, he fumbles for a moment in the top pocket of his shirt, before discreetly taking a small box from within it. He looks at her once more for confidence and smiles. There was nothing to fear at the end of the day. He was doing this because he loved Faith more than anything and he wanted them both to be happy and loved. He rubs her thigh gently once more before he sits on the very edge of the couch, taking her left hand in his. "I want you to be my Rollins," he says quietly, before he gets down on one knee, still holding her left hand. "Faith, you've been the best thing that ever happened to me. I always thought of myself as Kai Rollins, the ultimate lone wolf. But you've made me happier than I've ever been, and every moment with you makes me a stronger and better person. I'll love you for as long as I still breathe, and I'll never want to be without you." He takes a deep breath before he reveals the little box, opening it up. For a man of Kai's lavish ways and significant ego, the ring isn't over the top or cheesy, but it is definitely flashy and very impressive, and certainly cost him more than most would be able to afford. As it sparkles in the light, he smiles at her. "Faith, will you marry me?" Kai asks, a little nervously.

Down there on one knee, looking up at Faith, it seemed like an eternity for Kai, and the longer she went without saying anything, he felt for sure she was going to reject him. And then when she gets down beside him and questions him, Kai thinks for sure it's a no. He had built the moment up in his head so much with the belief that she would say yes straight away that anything else just felt like she was telling him no, and he was gutted at that moment. He looks at Faith and then down at the box in his hand, thinking how he must have looked ridiculous to her if she didn't want to get married. It was something he had spent a long long time thinking about, and he was more than sure that he wanted to get married to Faith, but maybe she hadn't been serious when they had spoken about it those few short weeks ago. He sighs and rubs his face, before he closes the box in his hand. "Sorry, I thought you wanted the same as me," he says with a little half smile, thinking now that Faith didn't want to marry him after all. He was trying to put a brave face on it, but inside he was devastated.

Kai looks at her when she speaks again. He had thought Faith didn't want to marry him after all, but it turned out all she wanted was confirmation that Kai was serious. He smiles a little and holds her hand again. "You know me, Browds. I'm a headstrong fucker and I'm not likely to do owt unless I want to. I know I told you before that I never wanted a Wife, but I came to realise that I love you with all my heart, and because of that I want to spend my life with you. What better way to show how much I love you than to make you my wife? It would make me happier than I've ever been." he smiles. "I would never be cruel enough to ask you to do this unless it was something we both wanted to do. I just want to show you how much I want to be your guy for life. I mean that," he says, taking the ring from the box. When she says Faith Rollins aloud, it makes Kai grin. "Nothing would be better than to have you become Faith Rollins. You make my life feel like it's worthwhile. Like I Have a purpose at last and a reason, someone, to wake up for each and every morning. I never want that to end."

Kai smiles when he sees the change in Faith's demeanour upon the realisation that he was being serious with his question. Kai smiles and leans closer, kissing her softly and using his free hand to gently wipe her tears away. "I love you, Faith, and I'm going to be with you for as long as I live," he whispers quietly to her. He smiles and looks down at her hand before he slowly slides the ring onto her hand, making it official. The symbolism of that moment sent a wave of joy through him, and Kai felt just one tear rolling down his cheer. "Thank you," he says, smiling at her. "You have no idea how happy you just made me, love." He kisses her again on the lips, savouring this perfect moment.

When he sees how happy the ring on her finger makes Faith, Kai can't help but to beam at her. To see how happy this made her was just the icing on the cake for what was already a completely fantastic moment for Kai. He pulls her close with his hands on her hips as they kiss softly - a kiss that's just filled with love and affection. "I can't wait for you to be my wife. That will be the happiest day of my life. I never imagined it would happen but I'm so happy that it will." When she makes a quip about being Faith Rollins, he smiles and kisses her again. "Faith Rollins does have quite a ring to it. It suits you, beautiful." He takes her hand again. "Then let's not wait, love. Let's just do it and we can live happily ever after."

Kai smiles and nods at her. She looked so happy, even at his suggestion they go and get married right there and then. Most women would probably want a lavish ceremony with family everywhere, but not Faith and Kai. They weren't the sort of people to be so over the top with a wedding, and he knew that like him, she would most likely focus all of her love on themselves than other people on their own big day. "I don't see why not, love," he says with a grin. "I'm pretty sure you just go to like a court room or summat and get some witnesses and they can marry you there and then. I just want to be your husband as soon as I can be," he says with a smile. "Unless you want something big and traditional? I mean it's not like we couldn't afford it now," he chuckles, standing with her.

Kai smiles when Faith confirms that she wouldn't want to have a big wedding. He wasn't the sort of guy that grandmothers would approve of, and he was certainly sure none of his family would want to come - especially not his mother. "Now?" he chuckles. "Like today?" He smiles at the thought and then nods with a wide smile on his face. It didn't scare him anymore, and he couldn't wait to have her as his wife. "Deal, love. Let's go and get all dolled up and get married," he smiles, delighted to see how happy Faith was about the whole thing. She really was excited about marrying him for real. "Our friends on Warped are gonna be shocked when two Rollins show up rather than one," he winks, squeezing her hand excitedly.
