The record marks the first full-length release from the promising young band following their signing to ‘Songs to Love and Die By’ back in early 2013. The band were quickly highlighted as the heir apparent to ‘Riot! In The Boulevards’ throne in the pop-punk field, rather unfairly as the majority of comparisons came solely down to the female lead-singer aspect rather than the music. But the promising young New York based band have slowly built a dedicated following over the past year, this has mostly been through touring as a support band and taking part in touring festivals around the US. Their increasing popularity has been proven somewhat surprising with the success of their first two singles, their debut effort ‘Mayday Awaits’ peaked at the number three position on the singles charts and the follow up single ‘Fighter’ which showed their true pop-punk potential peaked at number two on the singles charts. In recent months however, the buzz surrounding the band has begun to die down slightly as they spent the majority of this year inside a studio crafting this debut album of theirs, this meant that the band were very much away from promotional activities and touring, but it appears that now with the album completed and ready to be unveiled it looks like the band are ready to be unleashed into the music world once more. Already booking a spot on the Warped Tour alongside some of the best rock acts in the industry, the band have begun playing the majority of this record during their performances and are expected to be gearing up for a busy year or two in promotion of their debut album. The record features ten tracks, the majority of the songs register around the three to four minute mark and are very much quick-paced pop-punk songs. Already the band have stated that they don’t like to mess around too much with their model, their mantra is very simple, hit the audience quick and hit them hard and this is evidenced in the albums forty-two minute running time. The record was recorded between January and June 2014 and was recorded by the five-piece at ‘Half-Moon Studios’ in Las Vegas, Nevada. The album also includes the two hit singles ‘Fighter’ and their debut effort ‘Mayday Awaits’, the record was produced by the band alongside ‘Christian Fallon’ and occasionally ‘Amy Meyer’.
