"Oh, cool, cool. What kind of music to you guys do?" Valerie asks with a smile, looking around. "Where's your brother? And are you sure? I don't mind buying you something under the nose of the bartender." She laughs a little.

"That's cool, that's cool. That's kind of how my music is as well. Are you going to perform again some time soon? I'd want to to see you perform eventually," Valerie says with a smile. "Aw, why didn't you want to go party with your brother? Did the girls seem shady?" She gives him another, smaller smile when he says he's never drank before. Valerie wasn't much of a drinker either, but she definitely had before. "Yeah? This is, like, my third drink in my life. I don't know a lot about drinking, like most people my age do," the nineteen year old says.

"Yeah, that'd be really cool. I guess I'll have to come back in a couple days to see you guys again, huh?" Valerie says, noticing her drink in front of her and taking a sip of it. "Oh... oh, yeah, I know what you're talking about." Valerie laughs a little bit, nodding. "I'm nineteen. How old are you?"

"Yeah, yeah, that'd be cool," Valerie agrees about meeting Noah's brother. "Oh, that's cool. I remember being seventeen." She doesn't say that in a mean way, she just meant that seventeen had been a pretty good year for her. Valerie starts to get a little awkward when Noah talks about sex. She still got pretty uncomfortable when other people talked about it. "Uh, yeah, I get what you mean..."

"Not in the UK!" Valerie says excitedly. She was American - from Washington D.C to be exact - but she always took advantage of the fact that she could drink when she was overseas.

"For a while. I think I'm going to stay out here for a little bit. My best friend is going to college here, so I'm probably going to hang out for a little bit." Valerie smiles. "What about you? You sound American. Where in America?"

Valerie laughs a little. "I know very little people here, so it's nice to meet you, really," she says back. "I'm from Washington D.C. I'd do an accent, but I'm not really sure what kind of accent people from D.C have..." She laughs again, giving a shrug.

Valerie didn't even think about having a ride home. She didn't even think that she would make it this far - she assumed that by the time she got to the bar, she would have chickened out and just gone back home to play video games and text. "Um... No, I don't," she says, kind of embarrassed, although she keeps drinking as she says it.

Valerie laughs and nods. "Well, thank you very much, Noah," she says back with a smile. "Yeah, I know, I hate driving on these roads! I usually take the subways and buses everywhere now." She smiles. If Isaac took a while, she would probably end up taking one of those back to her apartment again - although she had heard that it was pretty dangerous to take public transportation while you were drunk.

Valerie smiles and nods. "Yeah, that sounds great. Thank you a lot, really, Noah. That's really nice of you to do for a girl you just met." She smiles, happy to have made a friend. Now she really would have proof that she can go out and have fun.
