Elle heads the kitchen to get something to eat

She says not knowing if anyone was around

Mariko shakes her head slowly. Daisy was a good person,even if she didn't believe she was. " gone after?! Daisy,who started the kiss? Me.who made that little peck into a full on tongue fest? Me. I am sorry,daisy cake. But I am greedy and take all the blame." She gives a weak little laugh. Daisy was too sweet a girl to beat herself up over this. Mariko draws her own knees to her chin. "Yeah..me too. Once it was over ? From elation to instant sorrow. Now if makes all the good times we had before seem like I was trying to seduce you the whole time." Mariko pathetically says into her knees. " you are sweet,daisy.I am sure it meant something to nova too. You could be her very first time with a girl..she would remember that always." Mariko looks over to daisy and says cheerfully. Mariko did not want to cry,she would have plenty of that in the near future. " daisy,it is not your fault. I promise you. " mariko pleads,her voice finally starting to crack.

Vara wakes up calmly, stretching. She could feel that Mariko wasn't in bed with her, but she expected that. Mariko had obviously taken time to tuck Vara in before she left, and that meant a lot to her. It wasn't like last time, when Mariko just left Vara alone without anything. She lays in bed a few minutes before finally getting up. She had slept in her bathing suit last night, but she had slept in less with Mariko before. She takes a long, hot shower before changing into a black t-shirt and a long grey skirt, and going downstairs to make herself some lunch.

Mariko finally submits. Daisy was stubborn,mariko had to give her that. " ok,fine. I will let you take SOME blame,some,but only if you do not beat yourself up over this." Mariko gives a much warmer smile. She respected daisy for not allowing mariko to shoulder all the blame. Daisy indeed did know about rum,and how mariko felt. But mariko still was the one who had to pull the trigger and say yes to their tryst. Mariko looks up from her knees and nods. " yes,it was stupid and we both should have known better." A muffled voice says. " it is in the past ,and I do not want things to go weird between us...do you think we can do that? " mariko accepted she lost a girlfriend,but didn't want to lose a friend too. " i do not think she will hate you,daisy cake. You are sweet and sincere. She will see that." Mariko says,trying to see the positive in this. Mariko turns very red and regains her composure almost immediately. " I was not crying! " she protests far more intensely than the situation called for. She wraps her arms around herself tightly ," I swear I was not crying."she repeats softly.

Elle smiles.

"sorry for scaring you hun, I am good thanks you ok?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, I'm just... blah..." Vara says back, looking back down into her cereal. She didn't really want to talk about it with somebody who didn't understand the full story of it. She looks up and smiles when Nova walks into the kitchen. "Hey, Novi. Sorry I ran off on you last night."

Nova smiles at Elle then Vara. "Hey guys and oh no problem, people get tired, I understand. Besides, my conversations can make people tired sometimes." She winks at her and then sits on the counter. "Feeling better?"

Vara giggles and winks at Nova for her joke. "Eh, not really, but..." she shrugs. "I'll get over it. I just need to talk to Mariko about it, I think. After she's done talking to Daisy."

Mariko had enjoyed the closeness she had with daisy before all this went down,pun unintended,it would have broken her heart if daisy wanted to keep away from each other. " thank you. I do promise no more of...that between us. You have been one of the people I look forward to seeing each day. " mariko says happily,she still wanted to hang around with daisy after this show was over and done. " i understand about you and nova. It is important she know how you feel. "
