Vara walks inside, smiling happily to herself. She had been in such a good mood since yesterday, which was so different from how she had been lately. "Hey, Christopher," she said, waving to him.

Nova shrugs. "Billy's the cutest to me." She laughs. "I don't know who Mercedes Payne is. I know who Gia is." She smiles at her going red. She seemed embarrassed yet sometimes she was overly flirty, Daisy was quite a character.

"Oh, about the same thing I was up to yesterday," Vara says back with a laugh. Her life had been more than eventful the past couple of days, but knowing Christopher, he probably had no idea what was going on. "What about you?"

Vara smiles at Christopher, wishing she had his ability to be totally unaware of the things happening around him. "Just... stuff. Some drama, but it's completely figured out now. Everything is... pretty perfect now." She sits down next to him and stretches out, putting her feet up on the table in front of her. "Oh, man, everybody watch out: We got a badass in the house!" she says jokingly, nudging him.

Vara giggles and nods. "Yeah, I wish we could all hang out together again, too. But, you know, we were just getting to know each other in the first weeks, so we were all putting on our best faces. Now we're getting tired of each other, and we're getting annoyed and aggravated with each other..." She looks up. She knew that she didn't really have anything personal against any of the people in the house, but by the way everybody seemed to be avoiding other people except for the people in their group, she was starting to get the feeling like people had issues with her that she had no idea about. "Some of the people I never see, too. Like Harmony. Or Edward. Where are they?"

"I feel like that too sometimes. Like, maybe part of it is in our heads, but I think the other part of it is that humans are creatures of habit, and people are getting comfortable with certain people and not getting comfortable with others. I wish there were some way we could get everybody together again - like the way we did with the potluck - and we all just hang out and have a good time. But I don't think anybody would be ready for a potluck again." She laughs a little bit. "Man, I don't think Harmony even knows where she is..." She shakes her head.

Vara pats Chris on the shoulder and then stands up. "I think I'm going to go to bed. It's been... a weird, hectic couple of days. I'll see you tomorrow!" Vara says as she goes upstairs to sleep.

Mariko finishes her shower and steps out. She dries off and puts on her kimono. It was a cotton one,and not her usual silk. Silk would get wrinkled in this hell hole. She puts her hair up and heads out to the pool. It was time for her anxiety medication.

Mariko raises her eyebrow in greeting before exhaling the smoke away from Nova. " good evening nova. How are things in nova land? " she asks happily.

"Good." Mariko says with a nod. In spite of current actions,she did care greatly about other people. Mariko put out her medication and sighed a little. "I....made a mistake with daisy. I feel horrible...I had no right to involve her." Mariko says,frowning.
