It's All In Your Hands Date: Late August/ Early September 2014 Hosts: Suzie Stockholm & Carmen Grant Pre Show Host(s): Layla Sanchez & TBA Pre Show Performers: TBA Performers: TBA Pre Show Awards: 4 Main Show Awards: 19 Location: Madison Square Garden, New York The Fan Choice Awards is an awards show, recognizing the general public and the work of artists popular culture, voted on by the general public. The show has been held since 2011. The Fan Choice Awards was founded and is produced by business figure Damion Holmes and will be held in Late August of 2014 or early September, with the official date of the show to be announced next week [Week of August 17th, 2014]. Unlike any other award show, The Fan Choice Awards are voted by the general public, who cast their vote through online voting thus giving the fans and general public a chance to display their importance to music and pop culture. This year, the show has a few extra implements and of course new awards. For the first time ever, fans were able to vote for the hosts of the show and based on millions of votes casted from all over the world the highly recognizable Suzie Stockholm and charming Carmen Grant were voted as the hosts of the Fan Choice Awards by the public and will be hosting the Fan Choice Awards IV. Layla Sanchez, will be handling pre show hosting duties along with another figure who is to be announced.
Aside from the voting, it is in Fan Choice Awards nature that there is new awards that are submitted. This year for the first time there will be pre show awards. These pre show awards, again, will be voted by the public. This year also sees a new segmented award category. These awards which were made for comedic purposes, and will be unveiled during the main show. There have also been some changes made to some awards. Instead of 'Best Solo Single' the award is now 'Best Single' to broaden the spectrum as to who is eligible welcoming bands, groups, and duos. The award 'Sexiest Couple' is now changed to 'Favorite Couple'. The official nomination and plugging eligibility period ranges from April - August 17th, 2014
This year, the award ceremony will be taking place at the historic Madison Square Garden in New York City.
