As the scorching summer takes an end this month, we are finally in the final months of 2014 when we say 'scorching' we are not talking about the temperatures. We are talking about the music and the activeness of the industry as of late. There have been so many releases whether it be singles and or albums, as well as tours. It's safe to say that people have been getting to 'work' when it comes to their craft that we call music. One of the artists who has really been named the biggest success story of 2014 is Austin Nimmo. Whether you hate him or love him, the pop sensation has stopped at nothing to climb up the ladder of success despite all of the mishaps that have gone on his personal life in 2013 moving in 2014. With successful single releases throughout 2013 and moving into 2014, the Australian American 17 year old has had his album pushed back to do personal issues in his life and other controversies but has overcome those walls. Starting out with release his independent single "Adore You" and coming such a long way this year, Nimmo and his Austies can be looked at as a true success story in some eyes, but of course there are many who think other wise. Austin releases his highly anticipated Fearless album to a very strong critical acclaim as well as commercial acclaim as well. The young star's album has so far topped the R&B and Pop album charts and the act has since been tending to his new BeatsByDre headphone line and toy collection. Austin's recent success did not stop there. Most recently at this years 2014 Fan Choice Awards, an award show based on voting by the general public, Austin Nimmo was crowned the winner of Best Male Artist in what was looked at as an upset by some, and a given by others beating out his male counter parts in Dominic Brown, Kato, mister_b and Hayden. With some congratulating Austin on his win, some were much more mixed and for the who ignored the teens upcoming of fame or had a biased view on him, felt that he didn't deserve it based on some harsh comments left on social networking sites. Still however, one cannot deny the long rode Austin has come and the ambition and motivation he's truly showed since debuting back in October of 2013.
Aside from winning Best Male Artist, Austin's fanbase, the vicious pack of fans that call themselves the "Austies" won Austin the award for "Most Psychotic Fans" for their true devotion to Nimmo. So much as far to start astonishing twitter campaigns like #Pray4Austin and the unimaginable but legendary #Cut4Austin when Austin deleted his social networking accounts and seemingly went "missing". The fans took pride in the win and celebrated on twitter,facebook and instagram.
Now that we've had a trial of tape of Austin's recent actions, the artist now is set to release his newest single from his hit album Fearless. The last release we got from Austin was "Unwanted" the mister_b remix nearly three months ago that peaked at #2 on the charts. And since then, the album has been released and it looks to be time for a brand new single. That new single is entitled "Fearless" an uplifting and truthful Pop/R&B concoction that will be released via FREEDOM on September 28th, 2014. The big and empowering "Fearless" the albums title track is a quick with only a length of 2:45 seconds but it's to the point and very catchy. In this track Austin raps up his album as a whole as the the pop, electropop and R&B banger finishes the album off in the right way. In an uplifting party jam that leaves the album off positively. After hearing the entire album and this final song and a finisher, you generally catch a feeling of happiness for Austin if you actually recall the things that the young pop star has gone through and to finish his album off letting go of all the negative energy and calling himself a Fearless dreamer is just an accomplishment in it's own right. The record was written by Austin Nimmo as the final track on the album as the song itself has a very climatic, finale like feeling to it and when hearing it feels the perfect "final song" of an album. In the track, Austin encourages his listners to be strong, not have a low self esteem, to respect ones self and he recalls himself to being a fearless dreamer, un afraid to die and speaks of being a stronger and more smarter person in general.
The record was produced by The Invisible Men and features a very catchy pounding beat that is enhanced with drums and even a guitar for the chorus. Austin sings out in a strong register throughout the entire track and this is the type of track you would listen to before you have an important sports competition and you want to gain that energy or adrenaline that you need to push you forward. Austin sounds dominant and big on the track and he adds in plenty of high notes and adlibs in the final chorus giving the general feeling that the album is coming to an end and at the end of he even speaks alittle saying "I'm Fearless, I'm Fearless." the catchy record keeps up until the very end, the the very end of the Fearless album. The debut by Austin Nimmo.
