Only two years ago, the inspring soul singer only dreamed of coming into the music industry and taking over the soul music charts. With his dad dieing at age 6 and him having a step dad and his brother being a prouducer, the 18 year old, Jaymoore Evans is ready to hit the music scene! The 18 year old said " I love every material of soul music and RNB, Just the vibe and motion of it"
Jay has been writing song since he was 13, but the hardships of him pursueing music at a young age was not so successful. After not winning a music contract with VibeSoul records about in the 1990's after talented teens auditined for the chance to became a world pop star, Jay didnt get the contract, but was invited to perform at the Seattle Singing Fest. " I was from Houston and I travled to LA to sing and win, but I didnt win, but it feeled good to be up there performing. I knew what I wanted to do when I felt the excitement! of performing" At age 14, Jay was scarmed by a record label. His mom sold everything in their house to come up wtih 1,450 for music materials for the record label. " I paid and I never got called to start a project, I had like 30 songs written, ready to record and they nevered called me" His mom, Lyric Heaven Evans said " My baby was really sad and he just didnt trust music anymore" After that happened, Jay didnt make or write music anymore. He completed school and he was going to go to college to be a music management. What inspired Jay to come back?
" I just thought about what my father said before dieing, " Never give up on something that is worth not giving up too and always, always chase your dreams" Now, Jaymoore at 18 years old and living with his music manager, Trenton Exavoir in LA, he is ready to work and his goal is " to became a very known soul artist.." Let's see what Mr. Jaymoore Evans can do!

I really enjoy soul and soul music is hard to find around here. Just remember one thing, you need "soul" to sing soul. :)
