Who Is Alexia Quinn?

On Sunday afternoon a YouTube video emerged and appeared to go viral rather swiftly. The video in question is that of a young Tennessee based backing singer/waitress performing a song at an open-mic night in Los Angeles, California. The person in question is a twenty-year old waitress and part time session musician ‘Alexia Quinn’, although the name may be unfamiliar she has a link to the music industry, performing backing vocals on Brandon Caulfield’s previous studio album and it seems her appearance in Los Angeles is down to the fact that she has been working on Caulfield’s latest album with him. But although he was in attendance at the local bar, it wasn’t the popular musician who found himself the centre of attention, but instead it was his little protégé who was quickly swamped by a sea of congratulatory attention following her performance of an original song.

Little is known about Alexia Quinn, other than the fact that she usually works as a waitress in Nashville and occasionally provides backing vocals for the sea of country musicians that find themselves recording music in the iconic country music mega that is Tennessee. At just twenty-years of age it would appear that a successful music career isn’t out of the picture and with almost 500,000 views of this video in just one day, it could lead to something bigger on the horizon for her, but then again, she could very well just be another YouTube sensation that doesn’t make it.
