Sam laughs again at Evalyn calling their waitress a sneaky bitch. She had always been such a lady when they first started hanging out, so when she said things like that, it always surprised him and made him laugh. "Right? Damn her," he says back, still laughing and shaking his head. "I'm glad you eat, though. The last girl I dated never ate. Made me feel like a fat ass all the time."

For a rare occurrence Koda and Sara had the luck of being in the same city at the same time. It had been a while since they had last seen each other, so they figured they'd make the most of the opportunity to spend some time together. Koda had arranged to meet up with Sara at a local park close by the Hollywood Bowl. He sat at a bench, watching the small group of skaters doing their thing while he waited for Sara.

It was always the historic dilemma between musicians, struggling to find the balance between their labour of love and the ones that they love, but it hadn't seemed to cause any real issues between Koda and Sara yet, they seemed very level-headed and understanding to the difficulties of touring. Koda smiled as he saw Sara in the distance, he placed his arm around he as she sat down next to him, he gave her a quick kiss on the cheek, "Hey you!" he looked at her and smiled, "How's everything?" he says, knowing that she's performing later tonight, looking forward to seeing her perform.

being with nichole in japan had erica in a wonderful mood. not being killed by the typhoon,and having all 4 kids safe and sound did a lot to separate japan and death in erica's mind. she also enjoyed the little bit of a break now that other people could help with the babies. she straightened things in one of the bedrooms of her house in osaka. she ended up never being able to sell the palace she went bankrupt for,so she just held on to it. it worked well now that she had several guests.it was a short stay,since tokyo was up tomorrow. but she figured it would be nice for everyone to sleep in actual beds,and eat actual food. she hummed as she set about cleaning.

erica has her back turned as she places flowers in a vase. she liked to think everyone felt comfortable in her house. she was fairly sure that everyone knew this wasnt...the house. she had visited that house,of course,mainly to ensure it still stood. it was barely visible from the road anymore. the grass and trees hadnt been trimmed in nearly a year. before she left she planned to either have it knocked down,or burn it down herself. the sound of faith's voice startled her from her day dreaming. being around faith had been something she tried to avoid. it still felt weird and possibly hostile...going to honor's halloween party didnt help this feeling much. " um..no. i wanted everything to be fresh and clean for when everyone got back." she says before turning around. "faith?" erica pipes up,putting her hands in the back pockets of her jeans. "i think the kids like you better than me." she says,laughing nervously. she figured the two should speak,so she figured neutral ground was best. who didnt love the kids?

"yeah, you are a like a walking,talking picture book that feeds them. what could be better?" erica laughs nervously back. she had managed to avoid faith in past couple of months,but they couldnt do this forever. they were both going to be around each other as long as nichole was in the picture. she could tell faith was trying to end the conversation,and erica was more than happy to let her. but this was one of the few times where they were alone,so she didnt want to waste it. "so should we go back to avoiding each other? i feel so awkward when i wordlessly hand you one of the babies." erica says carefully.

erica brightens at the grin of faith. it was something she had rarely seen since the day she came clean. "its worked exceedingly well." erica agrees with a chuckle. she leans over to look at the sleeping takara,making sure the child was ok. she still worried about the whole babies suddenly dying thing,so she periodically made sure takara was still breathing. "i doubt we ever will be. it was horribly wrong what i ended up doing to you." she frowns deeply and brings her arms up to cross them. "nobody deserved that." she sighs.

erica mentally raised an eyebrow. so kitten did have claws... she puts her hands in her back pockets again and turns to leave. she had finally said what she had been meaning to say to faith in person. fuck her if she wanted to hold a grudge. erica had forgiven far worse transgressions,this was on faith. but being erica,she could leave no wrong unaddressed. how many times had she had to just bend over and take it from kai,because she had to pussyfoot around the faith subject. "i'd rather be terrible than oblivious. how could you not know?! i was hoping you'd put two and two together and i wouldnt have to keep it up." erica says,oddly not viciously but more concerned sounding.

erica slides the screen shut for the children. these houses were the worst for having heated arguments in. so she would have to mindful of that. though the hilarity of she and faith sitting across from each other,calming babies while giving each other death stares would be worth it. " well...kinda." erica starts. it was hard to really give it to faith,as she held no real animosity towards her. the only thing she really had against her was constantly hamstringing her efforts to fuss with kai. "i mean...how could you not know? you dont think i wanted to tell you as soon as i knew,especially when i heard marriage was in the cards?! i am not some witch who got my jollies off of this." erica explains,unable to muster some real zinger to say to faith.

"you bitch" erica thinks to herself,feeling irrational anger building in her. it is rare for erica to ever use the word in anger. she is pretty sure she never even used or thought it with nichole. partly out of love and partly out of guilt,natalya was a near sacred subject to erica. how dare this woman who didnt even know her imply such a thing. " of course i could see the parallels.it was near the same damned situation,but with different people. that is why i sympathized with kai and honor. the major difference being my marriage wasnt just to throw natalya off my case. it actually did mean something.that must have been terrible knowing you had been had like that." she says haughtily. this little girl wanted to play in the big leagues,erica would gladly oblige her. "i didnt tell you at first,because i hardly knew you. by the time i did get to know you...i guess i was simply more loyal to kai and honor." she says simply. at the heart of things, this was the bare bones reason.
