The teacher said"I wish yesterday was Tomorrow, today would have been Friday." Quiz: On which day of the week did the Teacher say that?

I've heard it's always been a scam and never did actually exist. Its a pure citizenship, then clear out your bank account thing. |

I watched a documentary about it a couple months ago. More often than not, they use the man for citizenship and better health care, and then scurry out.
Also - although a fair few of the guys on this documentary were fucking weird - a lot of the guys were pretty normal looking and acting. Makes you think.

I wonder what it is like being in a poor country and looking at TV and seeing a better place that makes you want to just get out of your country. |

I think about that whenever I see most any other first world country. Places with sensible laws, social mobility actually existing, genetically modified food being labeled.... |

So much like my character Dylan, I've become obsessed with these two games called "Spent" and "Alter Ego." They are both basically online simulation games.
"Spent" is basically to see if you're good at managing money and living in a time of crisis. You've lost your house, you've lost your entire savings and are down to your last $1000. It gives you different scenarios where you have to find a job, choose to have kids or not, and see how you spend your money but you only get a grand for the month so you have to spend wisely and see how much money you're left with.
"Alter Ego" is definitely one of my favorite games. It's basically a life simulation game. You start with being born and growing up. You have to click different icons and it gives you a scenario and sometimes asks you to pick a path. There's no right or wrong path but they all lead to different lives. You go through adolescence, you can decide to get married and have children or be single. And It also has points towards your health and intelligence which are effected by what choices you make. They are both very strategic games and really open your eyes sometimes about life.
I found them because I was bored one day but I love them. So I'd recommend giving them a try :) |

Sounds interesting,if depressing. I don't want to play a game about being broke. I'm doing an amazing job of that right now. Course, broke is a relative state. I'm not eating tinned corned beef yet. |

To add on to Tequila's post, another great game is Real Lives. You have to download it, so it's not as easily accessible as the two that Tequila listed, but it's along the same line. You're randomly generated as a newborn in any random country (although in my experience, the likelihood of being generated in China is pretty high since they have such a high population), and then you had to live in that country from birth until your death. Like in the other games, every choice you make has consequences - from big things like, if you'll get married and have children; to little things, like how you spend your free-time.
It's all text-based, like the other two are. So good stuff. Check it out.

Just pray you aren't born a girl in China. Your game could be very short. |
