Nina dallies as she gets off the plane. She has been trying to get to the bottom of the dog mailing mystery. She's on the phone as she tugs the leashed dog. " why did you send me a dog,love? ....just admit it,who else would do such a thing?...yeah,...you have a point...I don't think she can touch dogs,its against her religion. ....dead serious.saw it in a movie once. ......NO! I'm not taking the dog to the pound. They'll kill his ugly ass there....of course I dont want the bloody dog,but I can't just abandon him....yeah,we just landed....no we didn't. Its a private plane and people would know what we were up to if we went to the bathroom at the same time. ...ok,talk to you later." Nina shakes her head as she ends the call. " fucking nutter,i swear." She mumbles. She turns the phone off. She didn't want to be disturbed. Other than erica,anyone she wanted to speak to was right here. She pulls her wool coat closed and adjusts her hat. " I love it here. Good choice,miss Virginia." Nina wraps her arm around castors,before leaning up to kiss him. " so glad to finally have you to myself,love....and only one child around. " she laughs. Being recruited to help with the three shades plus a kobayashi baby was hard work

Nina smiles at the voice of Virginia. Poor thing was still under the impression that all English accents were fancy. Back home,a voice like Nina's usually meant clutch your purse tighter. The smaller version of her outfit looked adorable on Virginia. Nina wished it looked half as cute on her. Being bundled up made her feel old. Since her last birthday she had been down about getting older. She wasn't proud of it,but she was a very vain person... and seeing she didn't look 17 anymore really got to her. She stoops down and adjusts the lapels of Virginia's coat. " you are so very welcome." She tells the girl lovingly.

Nina giggles loudly as she is pulled towards castor. She still felt just as girly as ever around him. There was just something about him that tickled Nina. " yeah...the dog.I think I'd rather have gotten knocked up with twins than have one dog." She says" dog" as if it's the worst thing imaginable. " but you gotta admit,he's kinda cute for being so ugly. Like Fergie." Nina laughs and looks down at the dog,which is just staring dumbly into space. She leans up to whisper in his ear. " a private plane,love?! Shall release the hound?" She says jokingly. She and Erica could spend money like drunken sailors,but private planes were still a burden and not something to be taken lightly. " paris! We should eat till we pop,drink till we pop,and take in sights until....we pop?"

" getting preggers would be infinitely more fun too,love. Though both involve opening boxes." She smiles back,hoping she was going way above Virginia's head. " twins may be too much. A seven Year old little woman and a dog is plenty." Nina never even considered making children. She was deathly afraid of the pain. As they walk away from the plane,she really couldn't help but feel glamorous. Here they were,all three happy and dressed nicely. Jackie o had nothing on them. " I prefer handsome cute. Much like my castor. Do you speak French? " she asks,ffinally starting to get sensible thoughts about their outing.

Nina utterly adored Virginia. She had been a wonderful,if somewhat reluctant help while her father and nichole were touring. If all kids could be like her,she'd want twenty.

"Too right we are perfect. People are lucky just to have us around. We should really be charging for this appearance,love. " Nina does her best hollywood starlet pose and giggles. She nearly raises one foot in a cartoony gesture of joy at the peck. "Oh....i know baguette and Peugeot. I guess I should have listened to Chloe more." She shrugs happily. Having castor and Virginia here could get her through any problems. They were cute, and cute was this. Universal language." Maybe th dog speaks it."

"i think i quit music already,love." nina laughs back to castor. "honestly,can you remember the last time that we were on stage? its high time you retire too. leave that nichole to her own devices and just stay home with me. we'll be the neighborhood stylish and adorable people. i hear it pays very well. " nina puts her face next to castors for maximum cute factor. times like this are what made her fall in love with castor. plus,it was a special side that she imagined not many people saw. erica still was petrified of castor. nina lets virginia get in the taxi first. much like castor,she treated the little girl like the princess she was. a young girl needs that sort of thing once in while. she mouths the words "thank you" when castor takes the leash. he was also so thoughtful of her.she would still well up in tears if she allowed herself to. "we should give the poor thing a name,love. its bad enough his face looks like someone stuck googly eyes on his butt. but not having a real name?" she tsks tsks a few times and pats the seat. the cab driver looked annoyed...or very french. it was hard to tell. nina made a note to give him a large tip....unless he mentioned how ugly their dog was.

nina fans herself dramatically and giggles. " ooh,say that again. i feel like the woman in a fish called wanda and you're kevin klien."

"festival,i dont count/" nina say with a dismissive wave of her hand. "we always sound like shit in open air settings,love.....or my guitar tone really is that tinny!" she says with a gasp. in spite of her and erica's lackadaisical approach to their music,they did care how it sounded. nina gives castor a playful nudge when he shrugs at her suggestion of leaving nichole. "please. you are the sensible person she needs in her life. erica isnt fit for that. im frankly surprised they havent killed each other." she quips as she checks her nails.she really should have painted them,plain was so....well,plain. inside the cab she smiles warmly when castor touches her knee.he always knew exactly what she wanted. she lets her head fall over onto his shoulder,being careful to not get make up on his shirt. the dog,knowing its being talked about, wags its tail. the loud thumping gives nina the giggles. "this majestic beast should be called fido,love. ive always seen it in cartoons,but never in real life. " she removes her shoe and strokes the dog with her foot. she hated the fact she was already attached to the thing. "yes,her!" nina exclaims,her head shooting up. "do you think its true she....you know. has both? "

Nina looks up surprise at castor. " faith doesn't work for nichole anymore?! Erica was so very fond of her too. She seemed ok to me....once you could get past the " they are all probably more than friends" thing." Nina chuckles. She would have to have concrete evidence there hadnt been at least one awkward threesome over at the kobayashi shade manor. " Erica will probably be the new faith. She so over compensates for her wildness when she is home. Its bloody organic this,free range that. She'll domesticate for a little while...then,who knows." She shrugs herself. It was always odd to hear castor not speak of nichole in glowing tones. But she would never join in. Regardless of how she felt. She knew how it was. Nina could talk about Erica as if she were the worst human alive,but nobody else had better try. For better or worse,she and castor had other halves that were....rambunctious.
Nina lets her eyes gaze upwards when her head is kissed. She slides a hand into castors and squeezes it. She was kidding about fido. She was thinking more of Steve. The dog more than resembled Steve buscemi...but fido was cute for an uncute dog.

Virginia's sweetness was heartwarming. Maybe the ugly dog had a purpose after all. It probably was sad for her to see Erich and Ada's dog and not have one of her own. "Well,looks like he's a girl,love." Nina was actually unsure of what gender the dog was. She felt the dog would feel self conscious if she started looking at its bits and pieces.

Leave it to castor to know who Jamie lee curtis' parents were. Someone that stylish had to be a wealth of knowledge on all things acting. If would be disappointing if he did not. " I thought tony Curtis was...you know? I swear I read about him and rock Hudson." She thoughtfully says.

" songs to live and die by" Nina repeats. She wasn't much on knowing anything about record labels. For all she knew she and castor worked for the same label. " you keep up with the music news,love?" She asks Virginia with a little wink. In the great baby cuteNess weapons race,she was certain Virginia was the bar to which all the others aspired. " i love when you talk all star wars. You get me all randy. ...just I hope we don't end up in a luke and lea situation." Nina shudders at the thought.

" fida is a wonderful name. Sounds like a name for a dog that wears clothes." Nina says with a smile. The idea going from going dogless,to having a dog who will be clad in a shirt. She was sure Virginia would be into putting clothes on fida. " i think she suits the name perfectly."

Nina giggles at castor saying bisexual. Hopefully someone who isn't her already explained that to Virginia. She still laughed at the nervous explanation she gave to Virginia about aunt Erica and natalya. " wow,love. You do know your stuff. With a name like" tony Curtis,you just have to be able to draw in the men and women. Kinda like castor drake. When I heard your name? I was already ready to throw myself at you." She giggles and caresses his ear.

Nina gives a little smirk. Who knew how much Virginia knew about the mischievous little imps that surrounded her. Thankfully she had little drama for Virginia to read about...well,recent drama.

Nina sticks her tongue out at castor. " unless Mr drake spent some time in Whitechapel,I'm fairly certain we aren't related. Although....my mother did once travel with the grateful dead. Don't ask. Midlife crisis or some malarkey." She shakes her head. Her mother was the reason Nina hated most any 60's and 70's rock. She mainly got started in punk rock to rebel.

Nina repeats the gesture to Virginia. Erica did it all the time and was adorable. Nina wanted to be adorable too. " a nice tiny sweater and a hat will keep her warm and stylish." She says with a little nod. She could always count on her partner in crime to want to dress a dog. " who's going to be adorable? You are,yes you are,love." She says in baby talk to the dog. She instantly pictures the dog in a stereotypical French get up.

Nina does a double take and widens her eyes. This was getting interesting. So she wasn't the only one who had played on both sides of the sandbox. " I think it goes without saying that the louvre is on our itinerary?" She says,keeping the conversation going so that little ears didn't notice unspoken words being thrown around. " you think we can eat the paintings like in that one monty python sketch?"

" his loss,love. My mother was quite the crumpet in her day...or so she says." Nina cracks up. Her mother was rather stodgy for being a hippie at one time. She would have loved to know more about castors rather. But it really seemed like one of those forbidden subjects,so she never mentioned him. She always had mr drake pictured as pretty much dean Martin

The banter between father and daughter was utterly adorable.nina just wanted to eat them right up. " fida is beautiful,castor...." She says,trying to hold in the laughter. She finally can't hold it and starts giggling. Even asleep,the dogs eyes were too big for its head. " but she will knock them dead with style,love. She's a natural." Nina pats the dogs head.

Nina grabs her heart and paws at the air . " Virginia! What has your father been teaching you?! Or rather,what has he not been teaching you? It's only England's best product...well,next to me." She giggles.
