Background
Starting her career 2014, Stephanie Red, known as "Barbie Doll", finally decided to work on her EP, "Fantasy". Everything started back in July , when Stephanie Red ended her education as Photographer. Finally, in December 2014 it was confirmed that "Barbie Doll" went to the Studio with "Aliya Rose". The Collaboration is confirmed to be called "Dark Tragedy" and was Co-Written by Barbie Doll. 2 Weeks later, Stephanie made her debut with "Lost In The Big World" , which debuted in the Top 20 and peaked to the Top 5. The Song was highly praised, which was the reason why Stephanie released an Acoustic Live Performance on YouTube. Getting praised by the people for her beautiful and angelic voice, she also got critized for her looks. Being too "different". After that , Barbie Doll went to the Studio and finished the last and fourth Track for the EP.

The EP was announced via Twitter by Aliya Rose and got confirmed also via Twitter by Stephanie. There are Rumors that Stephanie is going on Mini-Tour, which is going to unclude 15 Dates, including Europe, US and UK.

Composition & Title
Musically, "Fantasy" is an Alternative Album including elements of Indie Pop , Indie Rock and Bubble Goth. On The EP Stephanie shows her Songwriting Skills and also her soft and beautiful Voice, which often got told to be "Angelic". Barbie Doll sings about being Alone, depressed and about Heartbreak / Love. "This EP is a really personal and emotional EP. I wrote things about my feelings in the past, about being depressed and alone. It's probably going to be the best thing I have done and I'm going to do. It's a really different EP and everybody who felt Pain and Heartbreak knows what i'm singing about." The Title "Fantasy" got choosen by Stephanie herself, "I called the EP 'Fantasy' because I often got told that I'm different. Sometimes People are scared of me. It's funny, but It does hurt sometimes. Do I need to be like everyone else in this World to get accepted? I'm probably not a role model or anything an Human being can look up to but I think that I'm real. I'm not faking myself, this is just WHO I AM. And the Name FANTASY is just perfect for my personality. I'm living different and this world where I am living is my own fantasy world.

SINGLES
Barbie Doll used Twitter to announce the release of the debut Single "Lost In The Big World", which got released just in the same time. The record got highly praised for Stephanie's angelic voice, which suited perfect in this whole song. The World didn't expected such an raw and beautiful Voice, since Stephanie was just known for working with Aliya Rose. "Lost In The Big World" debuted, suprsingly, pretty low but proved to be successful the next week , reaching the Top 5 in the Digital Charts. It also reached the Top 10 at the Airplay Charts.

"Lost In The Big World" is the second track and the lead single from the EP. The Single was written by Barbie Doll and was produced by "Paul Epworth". Barbie Doll's voice has an 'dark' touch, which makes people think that the track has an 'evil' atmosphere. Her voice goes higher in the Chorus but still has an different touch, which makes everything creepier. The Track has Elements from Church-Music, Electro-Elements. This Song got highly prasied by Critics, loving the Production and the 'angelic' Voice from Stephanie. Rolling Stone gave it 4 from 5 Stars. Billboard gave it 5 from 5 Stars, the list continues.

Barbie Doll on 'Lost In The Big World', "This is like , one of the hardest Songs I have ever written. It such a emotional driven song, I didn't even wanted to put this one in the EP. But I changed my mind and used this one as the Lead Single and my DEBUT single."

'Lost In The Big World' did great in the Charts. Suprisingly, 'Lost In The Big World' charted debuted under the Top 15 , reaching #16. Something, no one expected , since it got so much praise. But, a week later, it charted in the Top 5. 'Lost In The Big World' also reached the Top 10 in the Airplay Charts.

"Soul" is the fourth and last Track on the Album. This record is the only one, which was written this year. It has production credits from Paul Epworth, who produced and/or co-produced every song on the EP. This record has songwriting credits by Barbie Doll. The Song was co-written by Aliya Rose, who didn't claimed credits , duo to unknown reasons. This Record has elements of Indie Pop and Alternative Music, including elements of Church Music. The Song starts slow, and stays slow the whole song. The 'OH's' and 'Wows' , 'AHs' and the Chorus are background sung by an Award winning Choir, who already sung with music's biggest names including 'Whitney Houston', "Queen latifah' and 'Alicia Keys'.

Stephanie on 'Soul', "It's probably not the strongest Song , lyrics-wise, on the EP. But the production is on point and the Background Choir is just flawless. I'm glad that I worked with these people."
