"I play guitar and do vocals for my surf punk band. We're called Disco Squad 666. Oh shit, it took me a minute to realize. I'm digging the Mac Demarco shirt!"

"Thanks, man. I've only met you, Julia Lawless, and her roommate. What's this about the film guys? What's going on?"

"Ohh, I wasn't really paying attention to be honest. I just came cause I knew they had good beer for free." He laughs. "So, uh, do you know about any shows going on?"

"I'm totally down, I don't work tomorrow. " He looks towards his roommate . "Are you down?"
Greg nods "Yeah, dude for sure."

Lou's shift at the grocery store had ended and he was dressed to rock out. He had his guitar case in hand and an hour and a half befroe the show started, with maybe twenty minutes prior to his own five-song set's starting. He was excited to play his first live show as a solo artist, and at the same time, deathly afraid he was going to fuck something up.

Yet he still rode the elevator to the ground floor and walked to the bus stop, awaiting his opportunity.

It had been half a week since his live show and the record labels weren't exactly suddenly clammoring for Lou. He'd gotten a bigger Twitter base, sure. But he was still a good amount of money short of being able to actually record anything more than say a 3 track EP, or maybe even 4 tracks if he could speak to the right people. In honesty, he could record a full album, it just wouldn't reach the same amount of people or grant the same reimbursement that it would if he would release it via a label.

Lou found himself sitting in the local cafe, drinking a cup of tea as he sketched down ideas for songs on a napkin.

The sound of loud punk music crescendos towards the back of the apartment complex as Adali pulls into the residential parking lot. He walked in expecting the empty lobby and the aged coffee smell to greet him as usual but he had something completely different. A group of people standing, looking bored, and the smell of fresh coffee. He had no idea what was going on so he decided to nonchalantly walk over to the elevator.

Adali's curiosity peaks; he was wondering what all these outsiders were doing in his domain. He sits in the back and listens as to what's going on.

Adali notices Logan. "Hey, man." He says groggily, he'd been up almost all night partying with a touring band. "I haven't seen your face around here, what's your name?"

Adali laughs "Yeah, I get that, between my job, shows, parties, and just hanging out; I don't spend a whole lot of time in my apartment." he pauses for a second looking at all the people outside of the lobby. "Say, do you know what's going on today? I'm completely clueless."
