Our World is the third studio album by American/British girl group SYNCO it is set to release on June 1st 2015 by Five Pesky Kids Records the albums lead single "Come On, Get It" was released February 20th 2015 it peaked at #3 on the Airplay Charts and #2 on the Digital Charts it also topped the Pop Airplay Charts they then released the follow up single "Stay Awhile" a little over a month later on March 24th the song peaked at #3 once again on the Airplay Charts and #5 on the Digital Charts once again topping the Pop Airplay Charts the girls then released their third single "Love Me Right" on April 30th of 2015 which peaked at #8 on the Airplay Charts and #9 on the Digital Charts this time though the song topped the Urban airplay charts rather than the pop airplay charts

The girls began recording songs for the album back in November of 2014 which was a rather successful year for them scoring two number one singles, one number one album and their first two awards the girls decided it'd be the perfect time to start up on a new project and they knew they wanted it to be bigger and better than their previous two albums High Speed which contained 11 tracks and leaned more on the pop side and Grown which contained 15 tracks this album also contains 15 tracks as well on the standard edition however the deluxe has three more bonus tracks bringing it to a total of 18 tracks which is the most SYNCO have had on an album so gar

The girls bring a completely different sound to this album from the others showing off a sexier more confident side of SYNCO than we seen on the previous two albums sure there were moments in Grown where it seemed like it but it was a bit obvious that some of the girls were slightly uncomfortable singing about certain topics however they've seemed to have really grown (no pun intended) since then like in tracks like "Won't Forget About It", "Come On, Get It", "Love Me Right", "You Want This?" and "With Me" the girls show a sex appeal that hasn't been heard by them before or not as much as it should have been anyway however there are also tracks like "Stay Awhile", "What We Do" and "Let Me Love You" that bring a more fun poppy side to the album and there's tracks like "My World", "Get Out Of Here" and "Don't Wait Up" that bring a more sassy confidence to the album then there are tracks like "Beautiful" and "Them Ladies" that bring more of an uplifting empowering sound to the album and of course it's leveled by songs like "So Done", "Go On" "Reality" and "Don't Even Wanna Know" either tone it down or bring up more serious topics

Title: Reality
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: Pop
Lenght: 3:45
Writer(s): Layla Sanchez, Naomi White, Ava B
Producer(s): Ava B

"Reality" is the first track off of girl group SYNCO's third studio album "Our World" the song was written by band members Layla Sanchez and Naomi White along with the help of writer/producer Ava B who also wrote/produced for the girls' last album "Grown the song was also produced by Ava compared to the girls' previous two albums this track is very different with the opening darker sounding synths and slightly darker lyrics the message itself is about Layla and her recent struggle with depression the song may sound as if it was about a relationship or about a guy in general however in Layla's comments on the song she shuts down any signs of this being about a relationship stating that the song is actually her depression and rather than speaking to or about another person the girls are actually singing about anti-depressants which Layla had started taking about year ago to help her deal with it

Lyrically: Lyrically the song is pretty decent the girls really took a different turn on this track from any of the other tracks on this or any of their previous albums showing a more mature side with more mature lyrics and though the song isn't great lyrically it definitely is a stand out especially after you know what it's about the problems however are that they could have made it a bit more mature they could have had it make a bit more sense as well the "Baby's" seem like they were there just to make some of the other lyrics flow better or rhyme and just which just seems a bit off however none of the girls (apart from Alex who didn't write on this track) were professional writers before their music careers which make it a bit excusable however Ava who also wrote on the track didn't do too much to clean up where they messed up despite that the lyrics are OK and are about a 6/10

Production: production wise as stated before the song has a darker sound than most other SYNCO songs which is actually in a way refreshing coming from their usual upbeat happy songs and though the song does have an upbeat sound that you could probably dance to it also has this dark sound as said before that Ava is more known for which she didn't get to show on "Grown" however after seeing the lyrics and hearing the concept of the song Ava had an idea of what she wanted the sound for this to be and after fixing up the lyrics a bit the song came together perfectly Ava who has suffered through depression herself in the past could connect with the song which is probably why it was so easy for her to produce this track the production which carries the lyrics a bit better is probably about a 7.5/10

Vocal delivery: Despite none of the girls really showing off their vocals or harmonies too much here the standout it Layla who somewhat showed her vocal abilities in the bridge of the song she also got the most solos on this track getting an entire verse, the entire chorus and half of the bridge but it's also understandable on this track considering the fact that this song is one of the more personal ones to Layla and her unique voice definitely does fit on the track pretty well a close second however with her extremely versatile husky voice is Alex who I would have liked to hear more of however she only got half of a verse shared with Naomi who despite being one of the writers didn't really shine too much on this track Naomi's smooth urban vocals are more suited towards R&B tracks and lighter pop songs this one was a bit dark for her Jamie however did deliver here probably giving the third best vocal performance though she doesn't show off her extremely wide range her she does sound more fitting towards the song like Alex her voice is pretty versatile however like Naomi it definitely does fit the R&B songs a lot better Nicole was alright here she didn't absolutely stun but she didn't sound terrible either being a pop song this is more in here area however being a darker pop song she just doesn't really take over here as she does on quite a few other songs on the album overall the girls get about a 5.5/10 for their vocal delivery on this one

Synopsis: The song starts out with a heavy almost irritating dark sounding synth that carries out for a few seconds before we hear Naomi come in singing the first half of the shared verse with Alex and despite starting out the song goes rather unnoticed as her deeper smooth vocals don't exactly fit too song too well despite getting a lot of comparisons to her band mate Alex her voice just doesn't fit this type of song as well as Alex's speaking of which after Naomi finishes her part we hear Alex come in with her huskier deep voice that matches the track a lot better than Naomi's voice as she sings in singing in a similar style to Naomi starting out somewhat soft and lower then going higher towards the end we then hear Jamie come in taking on the pre-chorus we then hear Jamie come singing carrying out that higher voice that Alex ended the verse in but sounding a bit more natural with it than Alex did she carries this style throughout the pre-chorus as similar synths to the ones in the intro return we then hear a higher pitched synth as Layla comes in taking the chorus on with that very unique voice of hers the slight rasp in her vocals adds to the chorus however it does seem a bit odd hearing her sing with no riffs or runs at all but she still seems to carry the song more than the others we then hear the drum beat return as Layla takes on the second verse on her own she sings in the same style Alex and Naomi did in the previous verse starting softer and lower which really fits Layla's vocals then going higher which also fits her vocals pretty well she does this twice before we hear Nicole come in along with that synth from earlier to sing the pre-chorus and despite having a strong voice Nicole just doesn't pull off the rather simple sounding pre-chorus the way Jamie did before her this doesn't mean she sounds bad on it she just doesn't really stand out here we then hear that higher pitch synth return along with Layla's vocals singing the chorus the same way as before but extending it out a bit before we hear the song go into a more muted sound as we hear Naomi, Jamie, Alex and Nicole singing together in unison rather than the harmonies we're use to hearing we can also hear Layla sort of whisper in a haunting was as they sing "Reality I'm losing my grip baby" after singing it together for the second time we hear Layla come in now singing higher and with more emotion than before as she repeats the word "Reality" over and over six times meanwhile the girls can be heard slightly in the background still singing their part of this but their voices are drowned out by Layla who really stands out on this part of the song as she builds the bridge up along with the synths that can be heard before she goes back into the extended chorus once again which she takes however the girls can slightly be heard in the background we then hear Layla finish the song with the final lyrics "I can't do this by myself which brings the song to an end

Layla: "So first I wanna say I am soooo incredibly happy to be here with these girls on our THIRD album who would've thought? Like when we started it was crazy we each had very different voices and personalities and still do but like looking back to then and then looking at now I'd say we've finally learned how to blend both of those things perfectly and just like bounce off of each other it's incredible man like freaking incredible anyway before I get into this song I wanna thank Ava who played a giant in this song from co-writing to producing to even encouraging me to include it because I was actually terrified to put this track on here because well it's one of the more personal ones it's not about a relationships or a break-up I'm actually still in my very first relationship so it couldn't be it's more so about the struggle I've been having with depression and like it's more to the anti-depressants which is something I really didn't want to speak about because it's terrifying letting people know about this but at the same time in order to help myself and possibly some of you then it's better to just put this out there which is what Ava told me and she was right also her turning this into a club banger bop thing made me more convinced to add this one so I really hope you guys enjoy it love you all :)

Title: My World
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: Pop, R&B
Lenght: 3:49
Writer(s): Ava B, Melanie Houston, David Levitz, Naomi White, Alex Grey
Producer(s): Ava B, David Levitz

"My World" is the second track off of girl group SYNCO's third studio album "Our World" it was also meant to be the title track of the album before the girls switched it to "Our World" the song was written by Ava B, Melanie Houston, David Levitz, Naomi White and Alex grey it was produced by Ava and Levitz and is actually very similar to the previous track "Reality" it shows off the previous dark pop sounds but with an urban twist lyrically the song is basically just a song to the girls' haters Ava originally wrote the song for a different up-and-coming act Marianna Banter however she didn't see how the song fit her and turned it down Ava then showed it to the girls who loved it and decided to bring in a few more writers to spiff it up a bit so they contacted Melanie Houston who worked on the girls' previous album "Grown" along with Ava however they also contacted up-and-coming producer/writer David Levitz and everything just fell into place

Lyrically: Lyrically the song is very simple especially with the amount of writers that were brought on for the track this is also one of the explicit songs on the album with Alex dropping the "F Bomb" right out of the gates however it definitely fits her more than Layla lyrically it's actually a very repetitive song the same words are repeated in the chorus, the pre-chorus and the bridge and the verses are extremely short which doesn't help it's actually quite disappointing lyrically with a team like this you'd expect a lot more especially if you add the pro writer in the group Alex along with writers like Ava, Melanie and David they could've done a lot better overall "My World" gets a 4/10 lyric wise

Production: The production once again definitely picks the song up bringing that similar dark pop sound that Ava is usually known for and adding an urban twist thanks to Mr Levitz production wise this song might actually be better than the first track mainly due to the fact that it was fixed specifically for each girl to have a part and sassy beat definitely goes with the concept of the song pretty well giving off that sassy over confident vibe that it seems like they were looking for with the lyrics overall the production gets an 8/10 just because all of the girls' voices go well on this one unlike the previous which catered to only certain members

Vocal delivery: So as I said before this song catered to each girl rather than specific ones however the clear standout on this track is definitely Naomi with those smooth urban vocals and her singing in the sassy way she does she just stands out above the rest on this track which is saying a lot considering how well most of them did of course as always some did do better than other here but still they all sounded pretty good Alex once again comes in a close second with that extremely versatile voice it's no secret that Naomi and Alex are two of the sassier SYNCO members either and their personality shines through on this track they really make it seem believable when Alex comes in singing in that more laid back husky voice she's definitely up there especially since we hear Naomi right after that just makes it so much better it's actually hard to pick the next best because they all did pretty well but Nicole in the bridge definitely stepped up her game here this is something we want to hear from her all the time showing off those strong vocals really suits her very well Layla and Jamie did really good too but compared to the others it just seemed above average sadly the girls decided to sing the chorus in unison rather than show off those harmonies they're so excellent at and that alone is what keeps this song from getting a seven so overall vocally the girls get a 6.5/10 because they did step it up on this track but Layla and Jamie could have done better I feel plus the lack of harmony

Synopsis: The song once again starts out with a synth however this one is slightly lighter than the previous one and definitely a lot easier on the ears it goes on in an almost sassy sort of style before we hear Alex come in with those husky deeper vocals she shows off a sassier side to her vocals on this track though as she sings through the lyrics we hear her drop the "F" word which flows a lot easier from Alex who his a more mature voice than Layla and just has the confidence/personality to pull it off better the beat then changes as we hear clapping similar to the girls' lead single "Come On, Get It" as Naomi sings her part "Drop it low the fellas want they name on it" with this smooth urban styled vocals she like Alex shows off that sassy side to her vocals however Naomi shows more of it than Alex did in her part we then hear the girls come together in unison as they sing the chorus after finishing we hear Layla finish it up as she repeats "This is my world, my world, oh yeah" four times also showing off a sassier side to that rather unique voice of hers however that being said it did definitely fit better with Alex and Naomi after Layla finishes her part we hear that same synth we heard in the intro however it's shorter than before Jamie then takes her part also going for a sassier style in her vocals her accent also comes through on this song more than it does on any of the previous songs which is actually refreshing however though the sassiness suits her more than Layla it's still not quit as there as it was with Naomi and Alex after finishing her part we hear Naomi come back in singing the same part in the same style as before before we hear all the girls come in once again for the chorus and then Layla finishing the chorus up however after the chorus finishes the bridge goes into a totally different direction and as Nicole takes over singing "I ain't ever gonna look back, look back but keep throwin the shade like that" that twice the first time in a lower voice however the second time she goes higher showing off some of that vocal power we then hear Alex come back as she whispers the previous lyrics "Watch me babe watch me babe you can hate you can hate" before the song goes straight back into the chorus which is done the same way as before, before the song comes to an end

Naomi: "Let me first thank Ava, Melanie and Davey for killing the writing with me and my sis and let me also thank Dave and Ava for their sick production skills so yeah this song is one of the earlier songs we did basically a funny little bop nothing to be taken too seriously I mean if you want you can take it as serious as you please but we did this track because we though it was fun and the lyrics were actually pretty funny and it was just a blast working on this track with the girls and with A, D and M they're all really talented and laid back people and are just a breeze to work with thank god for that haha oh also wanted to say thanks to a few people my family for supporting me through this wild ride and keeping my head on my shoulders and my feet on the ground, and to the girls for being incredible and doing the same thing and biggest thank to the fans who actually are the only reason we're still even able to do this you're all crazy but we are too and we love your crazy so enjoy ladies and gents :)"

Title: Won't Forget About It
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: R&B
Lenght: 4:22
Writer(s): Melanie Houston, Naomi White
Producer(s): Melanie Houston

"Won't Forget About It" is the third track off of girl group SYNCO's third studio album the song was written by Melanie Houston and group member Naomi White it was also produced by Houston this track shows the difference between the last two tracks as the first track was mainly pop influenced the second was also very pop influenced with elements of R&B involved however this track leans a lot more towards the R&B side and for that extra little throwback feeling it has more of a to early mid 2000's sound to it which is something the girls loved about it this song seems like it would fit on Grown because in the song they're speaking of their growth with lyrics like "That good girl image didn't last too long", "We doin' things you never thought we'd do" and other similar lyrics

Lyrically: Lyrically the track is actually pretty good maybe even great compared to the previous two tracks however the girls fail to tell a story through the lyrics with lines like "Rollin' out the the hottest spots, pink camaro with the drop top" which could makes it seem like a song similar to "Red Light" which is a track from SYNCO's debut album where they compare driving to a relationship however the girls then go on to say "All them boys want it" which changes it up quite a bit then we get lyrics like "Come on all my chicas show em what you can bring em but you ain't gotta give it up" which can make them seem like a tease however at the very end they give us a little outro as they sing "Tonight we gonna show em we sexy like damn they don't know what to do" which continues the idea of them being a tease but then we get the final lyrics "We know you wanna wife us but me my girls go high speed" Which yes is an adorable little nod at their debut album but also makes it seem like they're not teases instead just one night stands? Lyrically the song is very different from the previous two tracks it's not as repetitive but at the same time the previous two songs had a meaning behind them where this one has like four? Maybe I'm wrong maybe it's just a song about their growth into sexy, strong and confident women but I'm hearing a bunch of different meanings here however I will say I appreciate the nods to their two previous album titles and this one in the lyrics "Bet you would never thing, we goin' high speed, we on that grown scene, cause this is our world" while that was nice it didn't completely save the song for me maybe I'm looking too deeply into this considering it is just a fun R&B, pop song but I have to give it a 5/10 for lyrics and that's mainly because the little nods at their previous albums

Production: production wise the song is pretty simple and a lot more relaxed than the previous two tracks with synths going around along with finger snaps and other instruments the only problem here is it doesn't really change up too much but other than that it's actually pretty good and a much needed break from the previous two songs which were full of synthesizers and other things they were both a bit all over the place not in a bad way but still a simple song like this was really needed actually there is one more problem that awkward pause in the song for nearly a full minute where we only hear the beat playing no riffs, runs just the beat this could've been easily avoided if they added a rapper or maybe even a few more lyrics but other than those two little setbacks this song is actually produced really well and done so in a way that fits all of the girls voices as well I'll give it a solid 7.5/10 I would've possibly given it a 8.5 if it wasn't for that awkward little space in the middle

Vocal delivery: So far this track shows the most promise vocally compared to the last two songs each girl gets a fair amount of solos with Naomi and Alex leading the track and we finally get the harmonies we've been waiting for the girls actually show so much improvement in this area on this track and a few others later on like the second single "Stay Awhile" just how much they've improved on their harmonies showing that they don't all have to be together to harmonize whether it be the combo of Layla and Naomi, Nicole and Alex or Alex and Naomi the girls have proved to improve here harmony isn't something they've exactly struggled with much but it seems with each album they find ways to improve on them and it really shows as Alex and Naomi harmonize through most of the chorus and they do this right after all five of them are finished harmonizing together actually after hearing their harmonies I don't think I could even pick one that shines on this track we'll just leave it between Alex and Naomi because they lead the track for vocal delivery this track gets a 8/10

Synopsis: The song opens up with the girls all harmonizing together a split second before the beat kicks in a long with a more classic beat to go with it after finishing the first part we hear Nicole open up the first verse really showing a sexier deeper side to what is usually a strong higher pitched theatrical voice we then hear Naomi come in singing in a similar way however the difference is easy to be heard as with Nicole it did seem sexy but at the same time it seemed a bit forced in a way Naomi however gets that deeper voice more naturally despite having the highest note of the five girls after Naomi finishes we hear a slight pick up in the beat but nothing too noticeable as it remains relaxed we also hear the girls open up the chorus singing in harmony all together for the first part however for the next part we hear Naomi and Alex harmonize as they sing with those very similar deep voices the differences can be heard but but barely before we hear Alex sing the next part on her own after finishing that we hear her and Naomi once again harmonizing together bringing the chorus to an end we then hear Layla who usually takes lead open up the second verse singing in a similar style to the girls before her however it once again seems a bit forced like Nicole maybe just a little bit more since Layla's unqiue voice is naturally higher however despite not completely nailing those lower notes she does them alright and doesn't stray far away from the melody we also hear Nicole show off that higher pitch of hers as she sings back up for Layla one finishing her parts with "To" and "Oh" after Layla finishes her part of th verse we hear Naomi come in singing a bit higher showing a bit of a southern twang in her singing this time she is also backed up by the other four rather than just one like Layla was we then hear the girls come back in to sing the chorus which is done the same way as before with all of them harmonizing in the beginning then Naomi and Alex then just Alex then Naomi and Alex ending it the beat then changes up a bit slowing down as we hear Jamie come in showing us just how versatile her voice can be as she can hit those lower notes and the higher ones she sings in a lower style this time rather than showing off and is backed up by all the girls we then hear Alex come in singing similar to Jamie with back up from the girls however she goes a little bit higher towards the end before the song goes into a rather long instrumental break after awhile we hear the girls come back in and do the chorus the same way as before after that's finished we hear Jamie come in singing a majority of the outro as she sings in higher style than before but remains laid back we then hear Alex come in with those husky seductive vocals of hers as she sings the last few lyrics before the song comes to an end

Alex: "So album finally three is finally here and I'm stocked about it hell we all are we've been working on this for awhile now since last year actually which is why we didn't really tour we wanted to put our focus on getting this out to you and putting as much as we could in it so this track is called "Won't Forget About It" and it was one where we wanted to show that we're not really those cute little girls anymore and that's fine people change we've changed we feel like we've really been maturing both musically and just mentally and we wanted to show that we've all grown this confidence that we never really had to show before and it actually feels amazing to show it now it's like liberating anyway big thanks to Melanie for helping us out with this track and it was so much fun working with her again hope you guys like it"

Title: With Me
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: R&B, Pop
Lenght: 3:24
Writer(s): Naomi White, Alex Grey, Jamie Jackson, Elizabeth "Foxxy" Fox
Producer(s): Michael Black, Ava B, David Levitz

"With Me" is the fourth track off of girl group SYNCO's third album the track was written my Naomi White, Alex Grey, Jamie Jackson and Elizabeth "Foxxy" Fox the track was produced by Michael Black, Ava B and David Levitz the girls wanted knew they wanted a rapper on this album but they weren't quite sure who yet as the song speaks more about role reversal instead of a guy picking up a girl at the club and being persistent they wanted to change it up so the track needed a female rapper but the song also had a sound that strayed pretty far away from what most female rappers are doing at the moment so after looking through a list of possible collaboration partners they collectively decided to go with Foxxxy who had actually been out of the game after telling Billy Khan (Their manager also Weekend member and CBB winner) who they wanted they got in contact with Foxxxy who again hasn't done too much recently and agreed to collaborate on the song Foxxy met up with the girls in the studio and everything just fell into place from there

Lyrically: The tracks seem to be getting better and better lyrically this one is no exception the lyrics are actually pretty catchy and you may be surprised but this one was actually written solely by the group (well three members anyway) along with Foxxy who nailed her part on the rap the song's lyrics aren't extremely repetitive like the previous tracks and the meaning/story on this one actually remains the same throughout the whole track lyrically it switches up the roles of persistent guy in the club that won't leave until he gets what he wants which can be heard on tracks like "Blurred Lines", "Tonight (I'm F*cking you) and many other tracks by many other male artists the only thing wrong with the lyrics is the meaning of the song because yes it is wrong when males make songs like this but just because you're a women it doesn't give you the right to go around and pursue someone who isn't into you though group member Jamie said that this track was not meant to be taken seriously and is just them poking fun at males who make songs like this it just still sounds right however despite the minor problem it is pretty decently lyrically and it is a lot less repetitive than some of the previous tracks on the album and it did keep to the story so it gets a 6.5//10

Production: The production of the track is actually pretty good it keeps that R&B sound going here with elements of pop the song is more upbeat than the last track on the album which is good since the last track gave us a short break from upbeat fast song however this song gives us more of a dance feel than the previous three tracks it flows nicely and doesn't really take away from any of the girls' voices (apart from Layla but only slightly) plus it definitely goes with the catchy lyrics of the track Black, Ava and Levitz would seem like an odd production team as Michael leans more on the pop side of production, Ava brings that darker pop and Levitz brings that more R&B style with his production but they each bring something to the table here of course the R&B is more apparent on this track they still manage to each bring their different sounds together to put out a track that is very catchy and easy to sing/dance to there isn't much of a downside to this track production wise as almost everything seems to just flow nearly perfectly so this track gets the highest from the album so far pulling out a 9/10

Vocal delivery: Vocally Naomi shines on this track as this is more her style which is probably why she was given a half on each verse and a majority of the chorus her smoother more soulful vocals really outshined most of the girls on this track which is definitely saying something considering how well all of the girls did one with the slight exception of Layla who seemed slightly awkward on this one however she still did pull her own Nicole is probably second best here as she shows off that theatrical voice of hers she doesn't show off the power in her vocals but she does manage to build up the song quite well for the chorus on her parts Alex and Jamie probably tied for third here as Jamie shows off the deeper side to her vocals which again might seem a bit forced but she does definitely pull it off considering the way she passed the second half of the chorus off to Naomi almost flawlessly and Alex is always showing shows off a higher side to her husky vocals and whenever she shows off this side of her vocals you can't help but find them kind of sexy Layla who shared some of the chorus and a verse with Naomi doesn't exactly sound bad on here however her unique vocals just don't flow as well as the other girls on this track though she does show some of the power in her vocals in the chorus it just seems a bit off on this overall the girls did pretty good on this track making a catchy song even catchier with their vocals so again 8/10 here for the vocals here

Synopsis: The song starts out with the girls repeating the words "With me" a few times as the uptempo beat plays along with them this goes on for a few seconds before we hear Jamie coming in starting the verse showing a deeper side to that very versatile voice we then hear Naomi come in which is almost unnoticeable do to the very similar singing styles of the two after this we hear Alex come in singing in a slightly higher voice than she usually would before we hear Nicole come in as she comes in the beat changes up slightly to build up to the chorus however the real build up is in Nicole's voice here as she goes slightly higher and higher with that rather theatrical voice of hers however she still keeps it rather low before we get into the chorus where the beat fully kicks in however once again it is barely noticeable as Naomi takes most of the chorus bringing more of an urban swag to the R&B/pop song with her smoother vocals which are portrayed in a higher style here we also hear the girls all chanting "Ooh hey, ooh yeah" after each of Naomi's lines we then hear Layla come in going slightly higher than Naomi however her voice sounds slightly odd on this type of track not bad however this song does definitely fit Naomi a bit better than her and it's slightly apparent despite it being a small part after the chorus finishes we hear Naomi come in opening the second verse singing in a similar style as before we then hear Layla come in afterwards also singing in a similar style however her unique voice is naturally higher which shows more how this song fits better with Naomi as her vocals just aren't completely all there but still not anywhere near bad it's clear she's been working on this sort of style as the girls have been going down a more urban style lately but it just seems as though Layla has vocals suited more strongly for pop after she finishes we hear Alex come in once again this time going slightly higher than before really showing of the versatility in her voice here as she actually sounds somewhat sexy singing on this type of track we then hear Nicole come back in singing the same part but this time instead of going higher and higher she keeps it a bit lower as she builds up to the chorus once again which is done the same way as before after the girls finish the chorus we hear Foxxy come in for the rap which she does extremely well the thick accent she has surprisingly really works well with the meaning and production of the song after finishing her verse the chorus comes back in this time though we only hear the drums from the chorus playing along with Naomi's vocals for the first few parts up until Layla's part comes where the beat fully kicks back in we then hear Naomi come back in for her part to finish it up which is slightly extended before we hear Naomi repeat the words "With me" twice and the song comes to an end

Jamie: "So let me first say a big thank you to all of the fans who have kept us going throughout our career and have supported us through everything we've done we love you all more than words can explain and appreciate everything you do for us whether it be waiting out in horrendous weather just to meet us or tweeting you fingers off for us we really do love you all also big thanks to all the producers and writers who made this album possible and of course my sisters who have honestly become like real sisters to me through these past few years love you all so so much anyway let me explain this song a bit so Naomi started writing this song as a fun little track taking a dig at the male artists who make tracks like these and that's all that this is a bit of a dig to those creepy songs we promise we are not creepy and we would never even entertain the thought of forcing someone into something they're not comfortable with we then brought Foxxy in who we all actually love and she just killed her verse when we was writing this it was meant to just be a funny little track but when we recorded it it turned into this catchy track that we're all really proud of and that we hope you guys enjoy as much as we do also just wait until you see the choreography to this one ;) lol thanks for buy this album or illegally downloading it again we love you guys so much hope you enjoy this track and the rest of the album :)"

Title: Get With It
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: R&B, Pop
Lenght: 3:25
Writer(s): Naomi White, Jamie Jackson, Alex Grey, Layla Sanchez, Nicole Wright, Michael Black
Producer(s): Michael Black, Brandon Grey

"Get With It" is the fifth track off of girl group SYNCO's third studio album "Our World" the track was written by Naomi White, Alex Grey, Jamie Jackson, Layla Sanchez, Nicole Wright and Michael Black the track was produced by Michael Black and Brandon Grey who are also the team behind the girl' single "Stay Awhile" the song follows the track "With Me" which is about switching up the roles and acting like the persistent guy in the club who tells you that you're going home with him this song is more of a response to that guy rather than switching the roles as the girls sing about telling "that guy" to back off and that they are not leaving with him or going back anywhere with him the girls loved the sound that Michael and Brandon gave them and as they listened to the beat the lyrics seemed to flow as the girls began first singing the lyrics to the beat in the studio before they actually wrote them Brandon who was involved with the production would have also been involved in the writing process however due to conflicting schedules the girls and Michael instead had to get together to do it

Lyrically: This song is much easier to listen to lyrically it tells a story of a guy in the club hitting on a girl however the girl doesn't seem to be having it and decides to tell him off the songs lyrics can be compared to those of P!nk's "U + Ur hand" the girls manage to tell this guy off in a rather catchy way as the lyrics seem to flow rather well compared to most of the lyrics on this album so far with the exception of "With Me" which is a similar track but also not at all similar? Well whatever the girls managed to pull a pretty decent song out here which again is saying something considering it was mainly group members to write here this time we get all of them together and the girls actually show how much their writing has improved on this track as they once again show that sassy side of them which is so much better here than on the lyrics for "My World" which just seems a bit more conceited than sassy or confident anyway back to the story the girls like I said before are basically telling this guy that no I don't want your drinks, I don't want your thirstiness near me and telling this guy off like no other as Naomi states that this guy probably doesn't got his own house or car the girls also add a bit of todays slang with words like "Thirst", "Ain't nobody got the time" and of course the title of the track "Get with it" however though these are some of the girls' better lyrics it doesn't exactly seem like a track that would need so many writers but looking past that I'd say lyrically "Get With It" earned about a 7.5/10 here bringing them to their highest so far let's hope it goes up from here oh wait next track is "Come on, Get It" my bad :/

Production: This song is one of the better produced tracks from two of the girls' main producers/writers the lyrics are sassy, the girls sound sassy and the beat ties it all together perfectly for one of the sassiest songs on the album bringing in an older style just like the previous two tracks it has this more mid/late 2000's sound to itthe track also flows pretty well with very few mistakes once again it's more of an upbeat track that you can definitely dance to with it's drums, synths and that funky bassline in the chorus which brings a hint of jazz to the R&B/pop song however the downside and sadly which sadly there usually is is that the song is a bit too old school not really showing much of a new sound here unlike the last tracks which blended current music and mid/late 2000's maybe the guys were going for a more nostalgic sound here who knows but it's just not modern enough which sadly brings this track to a 6.5/10

Vocal delivery: The girls give a more sassy vocal delivery here which really goes with the sound and lyrics however this is probably my least favorite from the girls vocally despite the harmonies being done pretty well and the girls definitely each having their good moments none of them quite stand out here well with the exception of Jamie who pretty much nailed her part maybe though the girls not completely shining is a good thing here since it puts them all on a more equal level you'd think that Naomi would be the best here but she gives a rather above average performance I mean she sounds good but she really only sounds good here along with Layla, Nicole and Alex who manage to keep it above average don't get me wrong they definitely deliver a sassy attitude more urban attitude in their vocals here yes Layla included who seems to have improved on tracks like this but nobody really stands out too much here again apart from Jamie who didn't exactly kill the song like you'd think either vocally the girls didn't really stand out here but again maybe that's a good thing and maybe that's what this track needed but from previous tracks and even previous albums you'd just expect a bit more from them they've improved but they don't really show too much of that improvement here the harmonies are done nicely, the girls sound nice it's just a nice vocal delivery again nothing great but good overall the girls get about a 6/10 here vocally and that's because none of them really sound off but they just aren't completely on apart from Jamie again how shows off a bit more of that power in her versatile vocals here

Synopsis: The song starts out with a quick drum playing before the full beat kicks in this plays for a few short seconds before we hear Nicole coming in singing in that lower voice of her however there's a sort of airyness to her that usually theatrical voice of hers she takes the entire first verse as she shows a more urban side to it after she finishes we hear Naomi come in singing in a more clear style she also sings a bit higher than she usually would here as we hear her smooth urban vocals take the pre-chorus which is backed up by Alex's huskier voice she also sings a bit higher as she backs up Naomi after finishing the pre-chorus we hear all the girls come in for the chorus showing off a different style of harmony than we're use to from them Layla can be heard a bit more over the other girls during these harmonies which isn't exactly a shocker after the girls finish the chorus we hear Naomi come in singing in a slightly similar style to Nicole earlier as she sings the shared verse with Layla however Naomi sings a bit higher and with a clearer voice than Nicole did she also brings a more urban sound to the vocals here which isn't surprising as she's usually the one who brings the urban sounds to most of the songs we then hear Layla come in who sings in a lighter voice similar to Nicole however she also shows a more urban side to her usually better fitted pop vocals as she finished up the second verse we then hear Naomi once again in the pre-chorus however this time she's backed up by all the girls we then hear the chorus which is sung in the same way as before, before we hear Jamie who sings higher than the girls before as the beat slightly changes Jamie shows a bit more of that power in her vocals she also shows a bit more control which was a problem on the girls' debut album and a few songs on the girls' second album however she seems to have tamed her rather powerful voice as she shows here not really completely showing off just how powerful her voice could be or how wide her range is but she does slightly as she sings through the bridge after the bridge is finished the song picks back up as the girls head back into the chorus which is done the same way as before however this time ad-libs are added by Jamie we hear the girls continue singing through the chorus after they finish the beat plays for a few more seconds as it begins to fade out

Nicole: "Okay well here it is we know y'all have been waiting FOREVER for this album and it's finally coming to y'all we are all so excited for you to hear each track on the album and are really hoping that you're loving all of the tracks so far as much as we did when we recorded them and listened to them for the first time and we hope that when you listen to them that you feel as if we're there in your room or car or whatever jamming out to you on the fun tracks and crying with you on the more emotional tracks we love y'all so much and we hope you know that sorry okay let me get to the song "Get With It" is one of those songs about basically just telling a guy that no you don't like him, you don't want him, you're not leaving with him and that's that basically just telling him to "get with it" haha see what I did there? :P but yeah this song does all of that but in a fun way that you can jam out to and just have a blast and it was sooo much fun recording this and bringing out that sassier side and I just really hope y'all enjoy it and love it and are with it lol thanks again to everyone who was a part of this album from the producers to the writers to the collaborators to the people who bought it we love you guys :)"

Title: Come On Get It
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: R&B, Pop
Lenght: 4:33
Writer(s): Zachary Marks, Ava B, Kidd Amaze
Producer(s): Zachary Marks
Released: February 20th 2015

"Come On Get It" is the tenth official single from SYNCO and the lead single from their upcoming untitled third album the song was written by Zachary Marks and co-written by Ava B who has produced and written for SYNCO before and Kidd Amaze the song was also produced by Marks who SYNCO had recently met with after deciding to work with newer up-and-coming producers/writers for their third album Marks presented the girls with three other songs however Come On Get It was the girls' favorite due to the fun yet sexy beat and lyrics the girls went on to record the track and each girl found their parts rather quickly after recording the track the girls thought there was something missing and decided to reach out to rapper Kidd Amaze to finally complete the song after hearing the finished product the girls knew this had to be the single to represent their third album the girls recently performed the song at Naomi White's 21st birthday with Kidd Amaze's parts on the back track

Lyrically: This is one of the weaker songs which is almost shocking considering it was written by only professional writers of course Zachary Marks is a newer songwriter though that doesn't really excuse Ava B considering she's been writing underground for quite some time now and on top of that has written for SYNCO on multiple occasions okay but let me get to the reason why this is one of the weaker songs lyrically one though the chorus along with the production is catchy it isn't exactly brilliant it's the same lyrics over and over again which gets very repetitive and annoying at times and yes the song is supposed to be more of a catchy dance track but I still don't think that makes up for the lyrics this track is more sexual than sexy it doesn't have much meaning what the girls did on their third single "Love Me Right" was honestly so much better than this because it wasn't only about sex I mean yes it was but it also had something to it like the girls telling this guy "If you're not good enough then you aren't getting this again" sure this one gets to the point quicker but there isn't much of a point to get to other than "Hey let us have sex" I guess I can't really be mad at the girls on this one because they didn't really have any writing credits here I also can't be mad at Kidd considering he delivered two solid verses but that doesn't excuse Ava and Zachary 4.5/10

Production: The production really saves the song and thank god for that with the horns playing in the beginning and through the chorus the basslines the drums, the synths in the verses and the clapping sounds in the pre-chorus' really bring the song together and make it stand out where the lyrics couldn't really and thank god because without the production this song would be totally lost and I would've been totally shocked as to why this was even released as a single in the first place let alone the lead single however Marks does a good job here it definitely saved the song and I will say this is one of the better produced tracks on the album I wish they got to work with Zachary as a producer on a few more tracks because he does seem like a good producer just don't let him touch pen to paper for you anymore girls but overall I'd say this track gets about a 7.5/10 it's one of the better tracks but it's not AMAZING and I think maybe with a bit more work in the future Zachary could become one of the better producers on this album

Vocal delivery: If you thought it was the production that only saved the girls from the god awful lyrics you're wrong the girls also sang in a way that made the song that much catchier of course there was way too much Layla on this one but it doesn't necessarily take much away from the track it definitely doesn't add to it because this isn't Layla's best genre to sing on but she does a pretty decent job however the best here would have have to be Jamie in the first verse she shows of a sexiness that we definitely need to see more of in her part Layla doesn't really deliver as well as Jamie did in her verse however she did do well taking the chorus but for her verse I would liked to have heard Naomi or Alex take over hell even Nicole's been showing a more urban side to her usually theatrical pop vocals lately it would've even been nice to see her take it not saying Layla did a terrible job there are just people who could've delivered this part to us better than her another thing that's a bit upsetting is the girls only manage to harmonize on one part of the song and that's in Layla's verse then after that we hear no more harmony, unison anything after that the track is basically a solo for everyone apart from Nicole and Alex who barely got a solo though the girls could've been better here vocally they still weren't terrible so I'll give them about a 6/10 here

Synopsis: The song starts out with a horn playing sounding somewhat like Jason Derulo's "Talk Dirty it goes on for a few seconds before we hear Layla come in for the chorus singing in a different way than she usually would rather than add her riffs and runs she sings in a more laid back way which really goes with the track before we hear Kidd Amaze come in for his first part in the song as he comes in the horn goes away after he finishes we hear Jamie come in singing in a laid back type of way as well however there's something seductive about her vocals that bring the listener in after Jamie we hear Naomi come in and the beat changes to a clapping sort of sound as Naomi begins singing in a different way from what she usually does her voice doesn't sound deep like usual but there's a sort of sweetness to it after finishing the pre-chorus we hear Layla come back in singing the chorus the same way as before with the horns returning before we hear her come back again for the second verse mimicking Jamie in a way however there's an obvious difference between the voice Layla's being a bit more raspy than Jamie's clear voice Layla also adds a little riff during it to add her own spin before all the girls come in to sing "Go harder and don't stop" then Layla finishes up the Verse before Alex comes in singing the pre-chorus in that deep husky voice we're use to from her as the clapping comes back we also hear Nicole come in after her which isn't something that's done too often after finishing the pre-chorus the chorus is heard once more before Kidd comes back in for his second verse on the track after which Naomi, Alex, Nicole and Jamie all come in each getting a few lines from the pre-chorus before we hear Layla take the chorus for the final time and the song comes to an end

Title: Love Me Right
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: R&B, Pop
Lenght: 3:39
Writer(s): Alex Grey, Naomi White, Airemese "Coke" Smith
Producer(s): Michael Black
Released: April 30th 2015

"Love Me Right" is the twelfth official single from American/British girl group SYNCO it is the third single from their highly anticipated third album "Our World" the song was first written by members Alex Grey and Naomi White however they felt something was missing and since they wanted to work with a few different writers on this album they decided to contact Airemese "Coke" Smith who is 1/2 of the sensational duo Rum & Coke Coke loved the idea of the song and began throwing around ideas when the writing process was finished the girls decided to contact Michael Black who they have worked with a number of times throughout their career on every single album so far he also co-produced the girls' last single "Stay Awhile" after the girls were finished with the track they knew that this one was a stand out and definite single material this will also be the last single released before the album comes out

Lyrically: this track is one of the better ones lyric wise as the girls sing about being more in control telling the guy that yes he can get his chance to love them (take that anyway you want) but if he doesn't love them right (no pun intended) then he will be kicked to the curb the song was written by group members Alex Grey and Naomi White who are known to be two of the sassier members of the group along with Coke who is 1/2 of Rum & Coke (on the next track they work with Rum (;) the song like I said is one of the better songs lyric wise because unlike some of the tracks on the album this one isn't extremely repetitive apart from Alex's solo part in the chorus however it is a big step up from a few of the other tracks lyrically and plus this song is another that sticks more to the story/meaning so that's definitely a plus the three girls definitely did an excellent job on this track in my opinion they should work with Coke even more because she most likely did up the value of the lyrics by a lot anyway this song gets an 7.5/10 for the lyrics

Production: The production of this track is also pretty nice it's a lot more laid back than a lot of the previous tracks which is a nice change of pace for the album giving us a short break from those more high energy songs the track has an almost Justin Bieber like sound to it no we're not talking the "Baby" era but more of Justin's current era which really adds to the song as it really pulls the girls' vocals and the lyrics together plus the track focus' on more current sounds rather than sticking with that mid/late 2000's sound the girls went with for some of the previous tracks on the album which again is a nice change of pace and a nice break from that the production by Michael Black who also co-produced the girls' last single before this one is definitely a lot different here the last single "Stay Awhile" leaned a lot more towards pop however this track definitely has more of an urban sound to it which shows us how versatile Michael can be with his production overall this track gets about a 7/10

Vocal delivery: So vocally the clear standouts here are Alex, Naomi and despite getting an extremely small part here Jamie not that Layla and Nicole did bad because Layla definitely pulled off her first solo on this track and Nicole definitely pulled off her second solo on the track the thing is Nicole sounded as if she was trying to change her vocals up a bit too much here which yes she can usually do however she took it a bit far on this track and yes Layla did pull off the first part she got rather well however giving her the next part that she swore in was not an amazing idea I'm sure a few of the fans loved hearing her swear and yes Layla is of age to say and do what she wants now (apart from drink in the USA) she just doesn't pull of swearing which is something that you'll probably hear a lot of the casual listeners say thank god for the censored radio version though am I right? Anyway vocally the girls did good especially in those harmonies that the girl brought out for this song however despite the amazing harmonies and the good solos the star of this song is the lead vocalist here Alex who really brought us back to the beginning when she was the groups actual lead vocalist and was pushed up front as the leader Alex proves once again just how versatile her vocals are here but overall for each girl the song gets about a 7.5/10

Synopsis: The song starts out slower we hear Nicole in the back as she sings "Oooh, oooh" in an almost Mariah Carey style however the beat so far has more of a Justin Bieber style almost to it after the beat kicks in full we hear the girls immediately go into the chorus showing off a more sexy seductive style to their tight harmonies after the first half of the chorus we hear Alex come in taking the second half of the chorus on her own as she sings in that sexy more mature voice repeating the words "Love me, love me, love me right baby" and singing a few other lyrics as well before her part comes to an end we then hear Naomi taking the first half of the first verse she has a similar voice to Alex however the differences are also apparent as Alex has more of a raspy to her deep voice that Naomi doesn't Naomi has a sort of soulfulness to her voice that she doesn't really show off on this song but usually the difference is noticeable after her half we hear Nicole come in who the verse is shared with who tries to sing in a similar way as the previous two girls but doesn't pull it off too well we then hear Layla come in for a part singing in a more seductive voice than we're use to from her similar to the way she sang on "Whatever You Like" the slight rasp in her voice adds to the sexiness which is odd considering it's Layla Sanchez she somehow pulls it off though we then hear the chorus again which is done the same way with the harmonies in the first half and Alex taking over the second half after the chorus we hear Layla come in once again taking the first few parts of the second chorus singing in a similar way that she sang her other part however despite pulling off the seductive sexy type of vocals she does not really pull off swearing as easily some may love hearing it come from her but to most it just seems a bit odd after Layla we hear Jamie come in for a rather small part which she definitely nails despite the size of the part it's obvious and apparent that her voice has definitely matured some as well as she sings in a higher falsetto-ish style we then hear Nicole come back in sounding more like herself which is definitely a lot better than earlier as she sings the last few parts we hear little skips in her vocals we then hear the chorus which is done the same way once again before we go into the bridge which is just Jamie and Layla's parts of the second verse however the beat changes and slows down more it sounds as if it's building up which it is to the chorus which we hear one more time before we get a small outro with Nicole's vocals once again and a piano

Do I have to find another man who I know is up to it

Tell me do you got it, you got it? Just be real
Babe if you got it, I want it so can you do this
Or nah, or nah baby? Just tell me and be up front with me
And we can do everything baby

If you know how to love me right boy

And I just might be around for more baby like a round two
So can you g-o-o-o-o all night til we s-e-e-e-ee the sunlight

If you know how to love me right boy
Baby we will be alright then
Hold me, touch me, never stop, no
Love me like nobody else, oh!

Love me, love me, love me
Love me, love me right babe
Love me, love me, love me baby
Don't be lazy

I'll give you all of my love just don't fuck this up
I ain't tryin' to find a half ass guy that's done when he done

Will you do right by me? Tell me baby what do you think?

Title: You Want This?
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: R&B
Lenght: 3:35
Writer(s): Melanie Houston, Naomi White, Jamie Jackson, Nina "Rum" Tarantino
Producer(s): Melanie Houston

"You Want This?" is the eight track off of girl group SYNCO's third studio album "Our World" the song was written by Naomi White, Alex Grey, Nina "Rum" Tarantino and Melanie Houston the track was also produced by Houston this song is another role reversal song usually we'd hear a guy talking about not wanting anything further than a one night stand however the girls switch it up here singing as if they're the ones who want the one night stand instead the girls claimed to have drawn inspiration from Rum's track "Downtime" which talks about Rum wanting a no strings attached relationship however the girls don't even want that kind of relationship here as they warn the guy that they're not one to stay and straight out tell him that this is only a one night stand

Lyrically: As said before the song speaks about only wanting a one night stand rather than a full relationship which is something that'd usually be looked down on for a girl however the girls just seem to not care as they continue to stress the point that the relationship they have with this guy will go nowhere after the one night stand the lyrics flow pretty well and the girls managed to switch it up a bit except in the chorus which gets a bit repetitive but I suppose we're going to have to get use to that because though it's a bit repetitive it's also pretty catchy plus it's not like the verses are repetitive like some of the other songs on here the song tells the story rather good through the lyrics and it's really just not a bad song however lyrically it's not the best on their album so far but compared to some of the other songs we've already heard it is pretty high up there plus Rum definitely did kill it on her part anyway overall this song gets a 7/10 for the lyrics

Production: The production of this song actually sounds like something we would possibly hear from Rum which is definitely a good thing it's also probably the reason they asked Rum to join them on this track it's more current than their previous tracks which leaned more towards mid/late 2000's which is definitely a good thing I mean yes it was nice to hear the nostalgic sounds from some of the previous tracks but it's also great to hear a more current sound on the album as well the production is very smooth and another more relaxed track which gives us a break from some of the higher energy tracks on the album that we've previously heard however despite being one of the few laid back tracks on the album it also has this energy to it that most of the laid back tracks like "Love Me Right" and "Won't Forget About" doesn't this song will and beat flows rather well with the girls' vocals and the lyrics bringing a different level of catchiness to the album this song is definitely one of the better produced tracks especially considering that it was done by only one person this track gets about a 9/10 overall for production as Melanie brings a completely different sound to the SYNCO girls here

Vocal delivery: Finally a track where each girl brings something to the table and holds their own Naomi is the clear standout on this track as she takes the lead on the chorus which of course is slightly backed up by Layla as she adds these high pitched "ooh's" in the background which actually shows off the uniqueness in her vocals surprisingly even Layla brings it vocally on this track as she takes the pre-prechorus on this one showing a more urban side to her vocals Alex definitely did a great job as well as her and Naomi have rather similar voices plus hers is pretty versatile Jamie shows a different side to her vocals as well on this track which definitely sounds good and despite having a smaller part Nicole did well on her part as well then you have Rum come in rapping and killing it I wanted to add that because she definitely did kill it and despite the girls giving one of their better vocal performances here she also held her own on this track without even really singing vocally the girls get an 8.5/10 on here showing that they're better vocally on more laid back R&B tracks like this which also shows on the other more laid back R&B tracks as well however this is one of the more standout R&B tracks on the album

Synopsis: We hear Layla start the track out on this one with those high pitches "Oooh's" that play over the muted beat in the background we then hear Naomi coming in starting the song out as the beat finally kicks in we hear Layla's "Oooh's" continue in the background two more times before Naomi finishes up this part by herself after the intro/chorus we hear Alex come in not completely showing us that deeper voice that she usually sings in this time she goes slightly higher than that as she sings the first verse of the smooth R&B track after finishing up her parts we hear Layla come in for what could only be called the pre-prechorus showing improvement on her vocals here as she goes slightly higher than Alex did Alex can be heard in the background singing "Ah yeah's" in that huskier voice as well Layla continues singing in her higher more unique vocals for a little before we hear Jamie come in singing in a style we would usually hear from Nicole however she definitely proves that she can pull it off as well as she sings the pre-chorus the beat also slightly changes here as Jamie's vocals and the beat build up to the chorus after the pre-chorus finishes we hear the beat fully kick in along with Naomi's smoother urban vocals which are backed up for the first few parts by Layla's "Oooh's" once again however after the first few parts we hear Naomi sing slightly faster in the chorus telling the guy that "Nobody can do it like the way she can" and then latter telling him "You know this ain't going nowhere, boy we ain't going nowhere, it's a one night stand" then finally asking him once more "So you want this?" which brings the chorus to an end and starts us up on the second verse which is lead by Jamie who brings out a smoother deeper side to her very versatile range throughout her verse we then hear Layla come in once again singing her part in the same way we've heard before, before we hear Nicole come in for her only part in the song which she does rather well as it's more suited to her we then hear the chorus once more which is done the same way as before, before we hear Rum come in starting out her verse a bit slower however the beat then stops for a few seconds as Rum continues her part when the beat kicks back in we hear Rum rap a bit faster now she then slows down once again a little before the beat stops again Rum now raps faster than before the beat kicks back in when we hear Naomi come back in for the chorus she also adds ad-libs along in the chorus which again is backed up by Layla's "Oooh's" after she finishes the chorus the beat slows down a bit and we hear Naomi sing the chorus once more however this time Layla's backing vocals aren't heard before the song comes to an end

No baby don't you tell me how to do it
You should know by now I can do it all
Boy I won't even lie once you get this
You'll never wanna quit, never wanna quit

Forget what you think I'm the hottest, the best that you'll get
But you should know right now how it's about to go down
I ain't one to stay

Baby believe me you ain't gonna wanna stop
Once you get a taste you'll be hooked for life

Yeah so you want this? (oooh, oooh, oooh)
You sure boy? (oooh, oooh, oooh)
Yeah so you want this?
Can't nobody do it like the way I can
So you want this, you want this?
You know this ain't goin' nowhere
Boy we ain't goin' nowhere
It's a one night stand
So you want this?

He already know I can ride it
Boy don't you worry just watch me now
Hope that you ain't lookin' for a wife though cause that just ain't me no it ain't me

Forget what you think I'm the hottest, the best that you'll get
But you should know right now how it's about to go down

You know this ain't goin' nowhere
Boy we ain't goin' nowhere
It's a one night stand
So you want this?

Ah, heard you're wanting this
But I just might have to warn and shit
Put it down like I'm the Kong and shit
Make them feel like we can't coexist
I ain't nothing like them other chicks
Tryna rate me from 1 to 10
But compared to them other women
I got you thinking that the scale was rigged
Let me do my thing, papi, watch me work, I'ma get you on your feet
Got you on your knees with a nice lil smirk, how does it feel in the hot seat?
0 to 100 with a quick switch, even as a makeshift, I can take you there
Don't play dumb, I'll have you sucking on your thumb, building castles in the air
We're going for the long run, are you up for a little More?
Start on the bed end up on the floor, do you feel it in your core?
Fuck around and wake up sore, that's how we reap what we sow
Who cares if you saw some sparks fly or read the signs, go when I say go

Yeah so you want this? (oooh, oooh, oooh)
You sure boy? (oooh, oooh, oooh)
Yeah so you want this?
Can't nobody do it like the way I can
So you want this, you want this?
You know this ain't goin' nowhere
Boy we ain't goin' nowhere
It's a one night stand
So you want this?

So you want this?

Title: Don't Wait Up
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: Pop
Lenght: 3:21
Writer(s): Jamie Jackson, Nicole Wright, Brandon Grey, Michael Black
Producer(s): Brandon Grey, Michael Black

"Don't Wait Up" is the ninth track off of girl group SYNCO's third studio album the track was written by Nicole Wright, Jamie Jackson, Brandon Grey and Michael Black the track was also produced my Michael and Brandon as well who are also the team behind the girls' second single from the album "Stay Awhile" this track strays away from the urban side that we've been shown on the last couple of tracks and heads more in a pop direction which might remind die-hard fans of the girls' debut album "High Speed" sounding almost like that would come straight from there the girls decided to include this track on the album since it did remind them of the debut album and they thought it'd be a good idea for newer listeners to hear something similar to what they released when they started and to give older listeners the chance to hear what they fell in love with in the first place the song speaks about a break-up and getting over it which again was one of the main topics of the debut album however the only difference from this song to the debut album is Nicole who didn't get many solos in the past takes lead and Alex who had the most solos in the past takes on a smaller part throughout the song Brandon thought it'd be a nice idea to give them that sense of nostalgia but also switch it up just a bit

Lyrically: The song is decent lyrically none of the lyrics exactly stand out I mean sure they're catchy but there isn't anything realy special about them it feels as thought they're lacking something and I just can't really explain what that something is here I mean it's got the sass it's got some quotable lyrics but there's just something missing here and you'd think that with the team of Michael and Brandon alone who happen to be some of SYNCO's better writers/producers this song would be another hit like "Stay Awhile" and if Brandon and Michael weren't enough we even have Nicole and Jamie who were also both writers on "Stay Awhile" but we still just don't feel it as much as that maybe SA was a hit due to the fact that Alex was the main writer and the fact that it was more of a personal track to Alex okay yes there it is it just doesn't seem like the lyrics are personal enough for a break-up song especially when we have Nicole Wright who happens to be the only married member of SYNCO as one of the main writers here overall the song isn't exactly terrible with lyrics but it's far from the girls' best it gets about a 5.5/10 lyrically

Production: Production wise again the song is just missing something I know it's not good to start this out with the negative but I'm sorry yes it has those fun synths in the beginning and throughout the song along with some other sounds but this team just brought something on SA that they definitely didn't here and it's almost surprising since that song made them seem like THE pop production dream team for SYNCO however this track just doesn't hold together as well as "Stay Awhile" did I mean yes the track has good production but that's it it's just good who knows maybe I'd like it better if I could stop comparing it to SA but right now it's just difficult not to SA brought something different and fresh this sound just seems a bit played out and generic it does have that mid/late 2000's sound that the girls went for on some of the previous tracks and it does remind me of SYNCO's debut album but it's just not something I could really love lyric or production wise 5/10 for production

Vocal Delivery: Well where the song messed up lyrically and production wise the girls make up for vocally as this is one of their better vocal performances the problem here though is the girls didn't exactly pull it off as well as I would have wanted I mean yes with the lyrics and production it probably wasn't exactly easy but I guess they did do better than expected the star here is clearly Nicole who takes the lead on this song and really is an underrated member of SYNCO and an underrated vocalist in general it's actually quite possible that she has the strongest voice of the girls apart from Jamie that is but she definitely showed here that that theatrical powerful voice of hers is definitely a force the other girls hold their own as well but don't exactly stand out the way Nicole does here Layla despite not showing off those runs that we're use to from her done pretty good as well showing that this is definitely a track she's better suited for and of course you've got Alex taking the pre-chorus showing her versatility then there's Jamie who is also rather versatile despite getting smaller parts in this song she proves that as well Naomi however doesn't sound as good here as she would on the more urban tracks but she does hold her own one of the big problems here is this is a song where you'd want to hear all the girls together and apart from doing back-up vocals together in the bridge you don't really hear that here vocally the girls showed a different side to them especially Nicole who really proved herself here this track gets a 7/10 for vocal delivery

Synopsis: The song starts out with the beat muted at first as well as Nicole's voicw as she sings "Don't wait u-u-up" we then hear the full beat kick in as Nicole sings the lyrics to the uplifting dance beat showing a bit more power to that more powerful theatrical voice she has after that we hear Naomi come in with her deeper and smoother urban vocals which sounds a bit odd on a more pop song like this however not exactly bad then we hear Jamie come in after Naomi also singing a bit deeper which sounds good but it comes a bit more naturally to Naomi and Alex as vocalists since Jamie has a slightly higher voice after Jamie finishes we hear Alex come in building us up towards the chorus which Nicole takes once again which is done the same way as before we then hear the instrumental for a few seconds before we hear Layla come in also singing in that slightly deeper voice which once again comes more naturally to Naomi and Alex it sounds a bit odd hearing it come from Layla considering her unique voice is a bit higher however the slight rasp she has to her voice slightly adds to it we then hear Nicole once again come back in for the chorus which is done the same way as before before we hear Alex come in taking the first bridge which is backed up by all the girls after Alex finishes her part we hear Layla come in sounding better now as she sings in her regular voice not too high not too low she also adds a slight run before we hear Naomi come in singing the next part of the of the bridge and taking the part Layla took before adding a slight run the beat then slows down as Jamie takes the final part of the bridge she sings the first part of the chorus however she sings it a bit lower than the Nicole after we hear her sing "Back" we hear that word repeated by all the girls as it builds up t the chorus which is once again done the same way as Nicole with small ad-libs added in the background the chorus is also extended as the chorus finally comes to an end we hear the beat play for a few more seconds before it finally comes to an end

Don't wait u-u-up

It's so over now you're gonna regret
Baby I'm not coming back so don't wait u-up
You did this to me ain't no feelings left
Baby I'm not coming back so don't wait u-u-up

I lived in this hell way too long
Playing along with your stupid games
I gave you my love you took it and threw it away
It took everything I had to finally see what
You were doing
now you're hoping that
I'll come back but the past is burnt up baby

I gave you so much but you just couldn't do the same
But baby thanks, thanks for the strength

It's so over now you're gonna regret
Baby I'm not coming back so don't wait u-up
You did this to me ain't no feelings left
Baby I'm not coming back so don't wait u-u-up

Don't wait u-u-up

I always loved you but I guess that just wasn't enough
You broke my heart in two but I patched it back up

I gave you so much but you just couldn't do the same
But baby thanks, thanks for the strength

It's so over now you're gonna regret
Baby I'm not coming back so don't wait u-up
You did this to me ain't no feelings left
Baby I'm not coming back so don't wait u-u-up

Don't wait u-u-up

Go on (go on) done with that (done with that)
You walked away now you want me back?
But it's gone (but it's gone) what we had (what we had)
I never seen a fire die out so fast
You did this to me ain't no feelings left
Baby I'm not coming back
back, back, back, back, back, back, back

It's so over now you're gonna regret
Baby I'm not coming back so don't wait u-up
You did this to me ain't no feelings left
Baby I'm not coming back so don't wait u-u-up

It's so over now you're gonna regret
Baby I'm not coming back so don't wait u-up
You did this to me ain't no feelings left
Baby I'm not coming back so don't wait u-u-up

Title: Stay Awhile
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: Pop
Lenght: 3:58
Writer(s): Alex Grey, Jamie Jackson, Nicole Wright, Brandon Grey, Michael Black
Producer(s): Brandon Grey, Michael Black
Released: March 24th 2015

"Stay Awhile" is the second single from girl group SYNCO's upcoming album and the girls' eleventh official single as a group the song is the follow up single to "Come On, Get It" which the girls' released last month "Stay Awhile" was written by Alex Grey, Jamie Jackson, Nicole Wright, Brandon Grey and Michael Black Alex started writing the song earlier last year she decided to show it to the group and members Nicole and Jamie decided to add a bit to the unfinished lyrics they then brought in Brandon Grey and Michael Black who worked on the girls' debut album and sophomore album they put the finishing touches on the track and agreed to produce the track together as well the track is a good girls' perspective on a bad guy though she knows things might not work the appeal brings her in like in the chorus the girls all sing "You got this sexy, lustful look in your eyes and I got this hopeful thought that you will be mine" in the second verse we hear the girl speaking of knowing the guys intentions but also being fine with that Alex was asked about the song and she has stated that yes it was a personal experience that she had tried to forget however she recently began thinking of it again and thought it'd be a good concept for a new song

Lyrically: The song is one of the girls best songs that we've heard so far lyrically as it not only has a relatable song for girls and probably guys as well but it was a personal song to Alex who happened to fall for a bad boy in the past stating that "Just the though of having this unattainable guy made me want him even more" she has also stated that she's tried to forget the guy the song is about but started thinking back to the experience of chasing after him and day dreaming and finally being with him for a short period of time the lyrics just started flowing and it's quite obvious since they flow nearly perfect bring us possibly the best lyrics we've heard so far on the album as the girl manage to finally give us a chorus that isn't completely repetitive yet will get stuck in your head since it's still catchy as a cold and man did michael, Brandon and the girls do a great job on this one maybe because Alex originally started it then the rest of the team came in who knows? but they all did an excellent job 9.5/10 for this one lyrically

Production: And if you thought the lyrics for this track were good well they took it a step higher for the production with production described as "dreamy and soothing" by one of the toughest critics in the game and long time critic of the girls Queen Alexis I don't know what happened on the other song that Michael and Brandon produced but this one is a major step up a song that almost makes the two seem like the perfect pair for a pop record as the production as stated before is "dreamy and soothing" however it also adds another element to the catchiness of the lyrics and just brings the whole record together so overall with barely any mistakes on this track it's a 9.5/10 because it just adds so much to what is an already great song with great lyrics and the girls sounding great

Vocal delivery: Okay so we've got great lyrics, great production and some really good vocals here from the girls of course it's extremely hard to pick someone for the best vocalist here as the girls really came in as a team with Naomi and Layla starting out the verse then harmonizing through most of the pre-chorus and the girls ALL coming together in the chorus then we get Alex and Nicole taking the second verse much like Layla and Naomi before harmonizing once more through most of the pre-chorus then we get Jamie here who has the smallest part in the song but nails it and the girls all manage to bring a whole new level of catchiness once again to an already catchy pop song here the only tiny problem here is Naomi's vocals may not be completely suited for pop music however she did manage to prove herself in the pre-chorus with Layla showing just how much she means to the harmonies with her lower vocals as well as Alex's but vocally the girls get an 8.5/10 here

Synopsis: The song starts out with a guitar playing for a few seconds before the beat kicks in a little more and just by the beat we can tell that SYNCO have gone back to their main pop roots with this one after the little intro we hear Naomi start the song out with singing in a bit of a different way than we're use to rather than using that deep soulful voice she subs it out singing in a lighter voice though that's not her strongest point it fits the song more and it gives Naomi a bit of a chance to show her flexibility as a vocalist a bit more and though she's only singing in a laid back sort of way a huge difference can be heard from their last single which was more urban and fit her voice a bit more after Naomi finishes her part of the verse we hear Layla come in picking it up a bit though Layla is good with the urban style she definitely excels at these pop songs and that can be heard as she sounds a bit more comfortable and though she isn't showing off with her runs or singing high you can tell the difference once again after Layla finishes her part both Naomi and Layla go into the pre-chorus this time sounding more like they're talking than singing Layla speaks a bit higher and Naomi a bit lower before Layla finishes the pre-chorus with the final line the beat then fully kicks in as the girls come in and harmonize through the chorus though it's not the girls' strongest harmony it is nice to hear them all share a chorus rather than one getting most parts and the others singing back-up or one just taking the whole thing after the chorus we hear Alex come in singing in a similar style to Naomi the two have very similar voices but the differences can easily be heard Naomi has a more soulful deep voice Alex's is a bit more raspy and it's clear that she's also more comfortable singing these types of songs apposed to singing an urban styled song which the girls have been doing a bit more recently after Alex finishes her part we hear Nicole come in Nicole sings a bit higher picking it up like Layla did before and though she isn't going all out with vocal acrobatics it's apparent that she too is more comfortable on pop styled records like this after finishing the second verse Nicole and Alex come in sharing the pre-chorus doing something similar to Naomi and Layla where Alex's voice is a bit lower and Nicole's is higher Nicole then finishes it but lingers on to the final word a bit longer than Layla did we then hear all the girls come in once again for the chorus before we finally hear Jamie who get's the smallest part in the song repeating "Just stay awhile" a few times however she does sing it higher than the girls previous did Layla also takes a small part in the bridge adding "Yeah" before Jamie comes back in after Jamie finishes the girls all shout the final part together "Stay awhile" before they come back in for the chorus which is cut short for the last time before the song comes to an end

You're not right but the way you walk got me on a new high

All eyes on you oh I don't even know what's a girl supposed to do
Supposed to do?

I should just walk out and leave but I
Can't shake these feelings and I

Just wanna know what this could be like

You got that sexy lustful look in your eyes
And I got this hopeful thought that you will be mine
And when we go all out downtown you got what I like
I'm hoping you'll stay awhile, I'm hoping you'll stay awhile

You are that bad boy tough guy pushed in the dirt
And my minds saying no but I'm taking off your shirt
And when we go all out downtown you got what I like
I'm hoping you'll stay awhile, I'm hoping you'll stay awhile

We both know just exactly how this will go mmm
You'll take me home turn the lights out and take off my clothes

And I won't stop you cause this is what I want take me to another world
Another world

He says yeah you know it's true and I
Only want you cause I
never met anyone like
You in my life

You got that sexy lustful look in your eyes
And I got this hopeful thought that you will be mine
And when we go all out downtown you got what I like
I'm hoping you'll stay awhile, I'm hoping you'll stay awhile

You are that bad boy tough guy pushed in the dirt
And my minds saying no but I'm taking off your shirt
And when we go all out downtown you got what I like
I'm hoping you'll stay awhile, I'm hoping you'll stay awhile

Stay awhile, just stay awhile, yeah just stay awhile woah oh woah
Stay awhile

You got that sexy lustful look in your eyes
And I got this hopeful thought that you will be mine
And when we go all out downtown you got what I like

Title: Let Me Love You
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: Pop
Length: 3:35
Writer(s): Alex Grey, Layla Sanchez, Michael Black
Producer(s): Michael Black

"Let Me Love You" is the eleventh track off of girl group SYNCO's third studio album "Our World" the song was written by band member Alex Grey, Layla Sanchez and Michael Black and it was also produced by Black Alex says that she began writing the song after watching the popular sitcom "Friends" adding that the main character Ross' relationship with Rachel got her so mad because he couldn't just come out and say it in the earlier seasons that she decided to write a song from his perspective she showed Layla the lyrics she had and Layla agreed this is basically what it is like in the head of a fangirl with an OTP that takes forever to get together you just wait and wait and wait until one of the characters finally speaks up about their feelings and this song is supposed to be in the POV of that specific character almost like you're taking control of that character and making them say these things and confess how they feel the girls finally decided to bring Michael on the track to write and he brought the track to a more professional level the track was originally supposed to feature one of the best newcomers to date Reese Hollinsworth however after taking another listen to the track it just didn't all seem to go together well so the girls decided to let Reese release his own version of the track in the near or distant future and that they'd do this one on their own

Lyrically: For a song about a television show that is probably a bit too old for any of these girls to even remember this is actually a great track lyrically the story is about finally putting that fear of rejection and just whatever else is stopping you aside and just going up to the person that you have strong feelings for and just letting it all out with "No more fears no more lies" yes that is a quote from the song but that lyric pretty much sums it up the song is just about putting all of that to the side and whether it be personal feelings you might have for someone or just a "ship" this song is definitely relatable I mean if you can't say there's someone that you've had strong feelings for but were too afraid to admit it you're probably lying however despite the relatable lyrics and good flow of the lyrics the overuse of the word "Baby" which I think Naomi says alone three times in her solo is a slight turn off and it brings this song down to a 6.5/10 lyrically but other than that the lyrics were done rather well Alex and Michael seem to be a great pair when it comes to song writing

Production: Again the song is about a television character but the production is done beautifully here it starts out with this sort of muted synth before we hear the drums kick in then a piano and the song just continues going up from there throughout the track I don't know why, how or what it is about Michael but looking at this song and at the last track "Stay Awhile" which was of course co-produced by Brandon Grey he seems to have a knack for writing for these girls it just seems to come naturally for him whether it be writing or producing and IF SYNCO manage to stay together for another album let us just hope that Michael is the main guy behind production and writing because he just seems to know exactly what he's doing for these girls look at the tracks he's written/produced on compared to some of the others apart from "Don't Wait Up" which still wasn't terrible he just seems to be on point with them 8.5/10 for production here

Vocal delivery: So for the last time this song is literally about Ross Geller from "Friends" and his FICTIONAL relationship with Rachel Green and the girls manage to bring us their very best vocal performance on the album thus far I mean yes there is one clear standout amongst the rest but each girl manages to do more than just pull their own on this track whether it be on the solos or harmonies anyway let me get to the standout performance by Nicole Wright who again is an extremely and I mean extremely overlooked and underrated member of the group her and if she didn't prove herself on "Don't Wait Up" where she got the entire chorus she definitely proves it here where she gets the smallest part now yes this whole time I have praised Jamie's incredible range and I will continue to if she keeps delivering which she will but oh my God Nicole just delivered here showing off how amazing her range can be considering we've only really heard a deeper side to her voice which yes sounds a bit unnatural compared to the likes of Alex and Naomi but she can still pull it off however here this right here where she goes into that beautiful falsetto is what takes the cake and then what adds another seven layers to that cake is the high notes she delivers through the chorus because they were incredible and this song is great but it would be nowhere near as good without those high notes let me move on though to Jami who also did an amazing job singing the same lines as Jamie I won't go on as much though because we've all pretty much known that she's had the best range already okay let me just not get into all the girls' solos which yes were all good but let me get to their incredible harmonies through the chorus because once again they show us how beautifully their completely different voices can mesh and become this beautiful harmony the only weak point vocally here was Naomi's solo which is expected as the pop side isn't her best but she still managed to pull it off maybe not as well as some of the others but still she's proven herself throughout the album on the more urban tracks anyway let me stop going on about this song and rate it for the first time I will give SYNCO that 10/10 vocally for this track because when you add the beauty and power of Nicole's parts and the harmonies plus the girls' solos it's just near perfect and a definite standout track which will hopefully be released as a single soon

Synopsis: The song starts out with a muted lighter synth which plays for a few seconds before we hear this other synth come in as if it was playing around it as the beat begins to slowly build up we then hear the drums kick in and before we know it Layla's unique vocals are opening the track which is a good thing considering Layla's voice is best fitted for songs like this she sings in a more laid back style for a little before we hear Alex come in taking the second half of the verse in her more husky voice she sings slightly higher here though as she sings through her part of the first verse we then hear the girls come in for a lower harmony Alex taking the lowest part then Naomi then Layla then Jamie and finally Nicole singing the highest before we hear Naomi end it with a slightly shaky "Show me another world" before we hear her come in for the first half of the second verse she sings in a similar style to Alex whom she also has a similar voice to we then hear Jamie come in afterwards going into a higher falsetto-ish voice which sounds rather good and much more controlled and tame compared to the debut album before we hear Nicole come in singing the line "Show me another world" higher as the girls all come in for the chorus once again which is extended this time they also all sing higher this time almost sounding like a choir despite there only being five members Nicole provides the lead vocals on the "Show me another world" part before Layla ends the chorus singing the same line however she adds a slight barely noticeable run with that unique voice of hers a slight rasp can also be heard in it the track then slows down as the girls sing "Oh" before Nicole comes in singing the same part Jamie did in a falsetto tone once again however after she sings the last part the beat stops and she goes higher and shows more power in her vocals as the girls sing the chorus together we hear ad-libs added in by Layla and Jamie where Layla also has moments that she gets to show off her voice in her voice is nowhere near as powerful as Jamie or Nicole's but she certainly does have her powerful moments on this track as the chorus comes to an end we hear Nicolesing once more "Show me another world" not going as high this time but still showing off that range slightly before we hear the girls bring the song to an end with a short outro

Title: Out Of Here
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: Pop, R&B
Length: 3:23
Writer(s): Alex Grey, Naomi White, Brandon Grey
Producer(s): Brandon Grey

"Out Of Here" is the twelfth track on girl group SYNCO's third studio album the track was written by Alex Grey, Naomi White and Brandon Grey it was also produced by Brandon who showed the girls the beat for the track the girls loved it and lyrics just start flowing the three started bouncing ideas around for only a few minutes before they got an idea of what they wanted the song to be about it then only took a few more minutes to come up with the perfect lyrics that speak about breaking up with somebody and just not putting up with them anymore the girls said they drew inspiration from Beyonce's his single "To The Left which had a very sassy sound to it as Beyonce sang about no longer putting up with this guy or taking his crap and just kicking him out which is in a nutshell what this song is about so after finishing the lyrics the girls got in the studio and began recording the track which was originally lead by Alex however after a collective decision between the girls and Brandon and of course Khan they decided to instead put Layla to lead the more urban/pop song

Lyrically: It's not bad for a song that was written in only a few minutes I mean yes of course the mistakes show but Alex, Naomi and Brandon managed to write a rather catchy song together with an extremely catchy chorus however it's a bit sad because this track had the potential to be possibly the best breakup song on the album considering the only breakup song we've heard so far was "Don't Wait Up" which kind of failed to deliver lyrically I mean yes this track is better lyrically but I still feel as if we're waiting to hear that one standout breakup track and the girls haven't really delivered that yet which is kind of sad considering we're nearing the end of the album maybe there will be something later though however despite not being the best lyrics it does manage to deliver that sassiness that we've seen on most of the previous tracks which the girls have managed to pull off rather well however this track gets about a 6/10 the chorus was good and catchy and had this sassiness to it which yes the verses and bridge also had but I think the girls could've done better on the verses

Production: The production might just be what saves this track with a clapping sound throughout most of the song and this fun little synth that plays around it for most of it as well it just ups the level of sass and catchiness which pulls off rather well yes Michael might be my favorite producer/writer for the girls but Brandon is definitely my second favorite he also manages to connect with the girls on a musical level whether it comes to lyrics or production I mean it's not exactly shocking though considering he is Alex's older brother but still the only problem with the production is it may come off slightly childish but other than that Brandon did a pretty good job here I won't say this track is one of the best tracks production wise but I will say that it's better than some of the tracks on the album and was pretty good we'll give this one a 6.5/10

Vocal delivery: So the girls don't go all out here vocally up until the end of the track anyway where we hear ad-libs, whistle notes and other things but the girls did each do pretty good here vocally Layla was the clear standout showing off her unique voice a bit more throughout the chorus and a little in the second verse the girls also show off some pretty nice harmonies here as well in the chorus and in the pre-chorus taking the usual route with Alex lowest, Naomi slightly higher, Layla can be heard a bit more as she sings in between, we then get Jamie singing in a higher pitch and Nicole taking the highest part of the harmony these harmonies sound pretty good but don't compare much to the previous track vocally the girls matched up with the song they didn't exactly over sing it too much but in the parts they did it shows the girls did rather well and get a 6.5/10 here vocally it could've been better but it was still rather good I would've expected more from this song in general though since we're nearing the end up the standard edition of the album

Synopsis: The song starts out with the a clapping sound a long with a synth playing around it this goes on for a few seconds before we hear Alex come in opening up the first verse which is shared with her and Nicole which is a duo we don't usually see sharing a verse however they manage to work it out rather well as Alex sings in a more laid back voice not really showing the huskiness in it too much we then hear Nicole who also sings in a more laid back voice the girls' vocals are rather easy to tell apart here as they have such different voices after Nicole finishes off her part of the verse we hear the girls all come in for the pre-chorus singing the lyrics "Get on out, just get on out" over and over also adding the word "Baby" in a few times as the song begins to build up to the fun and catchy chorus which is lead by Layla as she sings in that unique voice which can easily be told apart from any of the other girls' vocals she sings a bit higher than the other girls did previously and as they all harmonize we hear Layla a bit more they also add a run to "Out of here" which sounds pretty nice and surprisingly it's one of the first times Layla really showed off her runs the girls also do this she then goes on to sing the rest of the chorus before the girls come back in singing that same part all together once again after the chorus finishes we hear Jamie come in for the first half of the second verse she sings in a similar way as the girls did before her in the first verse however the vocal differences can once again be heard easily Layla then sings the second part to the verse bringing a different energy to it before the girls go back into the pre-chorus which is done the same with just a few ad-libs this time then go into the chorus which is done the same once again we then hear Alex this time really showing off those husky vocals as she sings in a deeper tone than before as the beat slows down a lot after we hear her finish her half of the bridge we hear Naomi come in singing in a similar style however her vocals are a bit more smooth than Alex's which shows the girls then come back in for the pre-chorus which is done the same way then the chorus which is done twice and some ad-libs are added as well mainly from Alex but we also hear a whistle note which sounds to be from either Naomi or Nicole as well the girls continue singing before the song finally comes to an end we hear Alex finish it with the final "Out of here"

Title: What We Do
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: Pop, electro-pop
Length: 3:25
Writer(s): Alex Grey, Naomi White, David Levitz
Producer(s): David Levitz

"What We Do" is the thirteenth track off of girl group SYNCO's third studio album "Our World" the song was written by Naomi White, Alex Grey and David Levitz with production credits also from the up-and-coming songwriter/producer David Levitz the lyrics were written for the song almost immediately after the girls were shown the instrumental which was also showed to label-mates and fellow pop group ELMNT "What We Do" was one of the last songs to be placed onto the albums final tracklist in an almost last minute decision lyrically the song speaks about partying and having a wild night the production is also very different compared to most songs on the track this album so far with a killer beat drop during the verses and a beat that can be compared to Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" throughout the chorus the song has also been compared to fellow pop group ELMNT's track "Turn It Up Louder" which Levitz also has production credits on that track as well

Lyrically: So here we are nearing the end of SYNCO's third studio album "Our World" or at least the standard edition anyway and the girls bring us one of the least thought out lyrics they have so far sure it's a fun song lyrically but it's nothing extremely special the lyrics are rather generic and cheap on this one which yes I get it's difficult to write a song without sounding at least somewhat generic but it's also far from impossible which I hope and pray the girls realize before their next album the song speaks about partying and having a good time with lyrics like "This is what we do, we go hard all night no time to stop" and "This is what we do, Don't wanna be stuck we just wanna have fun" and that's only the beginning of a mess of generic terms and lines from this track this is definitely one of the weaker songs on the album and shouldn't have made it this close to the end and you'd expect a bit more from two of the best writers in the group and a professional writer however they just didn't really bring it here only earning a 4/10 which is probably the worst I've rated one of the tracks on this album so far I mean some of the songs were passable with bad/generic lyrics but this one doesn't really have anything saving it

Production: Which leads me to the production of the track which like I said doesn't really save it at all the track is catchy yes there's no denying that but it's also extremely generic and it just sounds like something we've heard a million times hell even once this week with ELMNT's "Turn It Up Louder" from their debut EP I don't exactly know what David was thinking here well I'm sure whatever he was thinking about was green but the production with WWD and TIUL is just too similar almost to the point where it's the exact same song and it's not only that I just don't really get what he was going for the beat drop is alright but nothing amazing then the verses are just kinda boring once again giving this a 4/10 for many reasons the main ones being how close this song got to the end of the album and how generic it is

Vocal delivery: Despite terrible lyrics and equally bad production the girls still manage to give a good vocal delivery here still not enough to save the track or enough to be compared to most of their other vocal deliveries on the album I will say though this is better than some of the other tracks vocally with the girls harmonizing together then Layla delivering this one note that actually gave me chills showing off a completely different side to her vocals there isn't really anything special here which isn't bad they did bring something to the table here just nothing great compared to the vocal deliveries on tracks like "Stay Awhile", "Let Me Love You" or even tracks like "With Me" and "You Want This?" and knowing they could do better just from those tracks makes me want to give this a lower rating than I will but I can't just focus on the uneven comparisons because I can also compare it to some of the tracks they did better than" so I'll give it a 6/10 for vocal delivery

Synopsis: The song starts out with a guitar chord being played that continues throughout the opening of the song as the girls all come in singing in a more laid back harmony after singing the first few lines we hear the girls repeat the words "What we do" four times before the beat drops showing a more electro-pop side to the song before we hear Naomi come in opening the first verse of the song singing in a rather laid back voice then going slightly hear after every other word before we hear Jamie come in singing in a very similar style however the slight differences can be heard as well she continues singing her part before Nicole comes in taking over and singing the pre-chorus as she repeats the words the last word of the last two sentences five times before we hear the chorus kick back in which is done the same way with the girls harmonizing through it however slight synths are added to the beat along with a clapping sound which builds up to the beat drop after that we hear Alex come in singing in a similar style to Naomi earlier however the differences can once again be told as Naomi has a smoother voice and Alex's is a bit more husky we then hear Layla come in who Alex shares this part with singing in the same style as Alex finishing the verse we then hear Jamie come in singing the same way and the same lyrics she did before, before we hear Nicole come in also singing the same way however this time when she says "Dance" we hear a clapping sound added when she repeats the word five times before we hear the chorus once again which once again is done the same way however instead of building up to the chorus we go into the bridge which is a lot more mellow and laid back compared to the chorus this part is shared by Nicole and Layla Nicole starts it singing that theatrical voice we've come to know from her we then hear Layla take over singing the next few parts in a very similar way as well however the differences between the two girls' vocals can definitely be heard as they both have unique voices but Nicole's is more theatrical where as Layla's is a bit softer with a slight rasp to it Layla continues singing her part up until the end where she hits the final note singing "This is what we do" she holds the last one for a few seconds going higher then adding a slight run towards the end of it before we get back into the chorus which is done the same way as before but this time with ad-libs done by Layla and Nicole before the song plays for a few more seconds as Nicole gives us the outro before it finally comes to an end

Title: Beautiful
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: Pop
Length: 3:32
Writer(s): Alex Grey, Jamie Jackson, Layla Sanchez, Naomi White, Nicole Wright
Producer(s): David Levitz

"Beautiful" is the fourteenth track on girl group SYNCO's third studio album "Our World" the track was written by Jamie Jackson, Layla Sanchez, Nicole Wright and Alex Grey the track was once again produced by David Levitz the girls wanted this track to be one of the more personal songs from them which is why we see all of them credited as writers here with no other writers the song is supposed to be a song from them to their fans in the song the girls speak encouraging and uplifting lyrics to the listener rather than sing about themselves or a relationship well apart from the beginning which is a Destiny's Child nod where Naomi mentions all of the girls' names including her own then the groups name this track was one of the very first to make the album along with "Get With It" and "Come On, Get It" however unlike those two this song has a very different meaning and sound those two leaned more towards the R&B side of the album where this is the first fully pop track to be added to the album it was also one of the tracks the girls wrote before those two after recording the two previous mentioned tracks they brought this one into the studio to Levitz they originally wanted it to be a ballad however David decided to show them this instrumental instead and the girls thought it was a great idea and loved the sound so went with this instead

Lyrically: Lyrically the track is one one of the better tracks as it is a more personal song and the girls are the only writers on this one yes the girls have released tracks with similar messages like "Believe It" and "Why Does This Hurt" from their last album but unlike WDTH this song was written by all the girls and just has the feeling that they had the fans in mind when they were writing it it's actually very similar to BI lyrically the only difference is that one had a bit more depth to the lyrics this one might be a bit more generic than that one but the girls pull it together in a funner way and yes the generic isn't necessarily good but in a way it's not bad well at least compared to the last track "What We Do" anyway the song might come off a bit cheesy to someone but the lyrics are also very sweet it's a just a sweet little song from them to their fans however there are a few cheesy and rather generic parts like I said before so this track gets a 6.5/10 for the lyrics

Production: The production on this track isn't anything ground breaking or outstanding but it is decent and it is quite fun compared to songs like "Believe It" or "Why Does This Hurt" which are a bit slower this is one that you can actually dance to and have fun with not saying that the other tracks were boring or bad production wise but they weren't exactly something you could dance to this track brings all of that together with an uplifting message a funner more upbeat sound thankfully David didn't give the beat to this track to another artist or band yes it does have it's generic moments production wise but I wouldn't even put it in comparison to the generic-ness of the last track and no I don't think that's an actual thing but let us just pretend it is for now anyway with the fun synths and the drums playing in the beat this song is pretty good production wise far from the best but also far from the worst it gets a 6.5/10 as well

Vocal delivery: The girls did a pretty good job here vocally actually I'd say it's almost up there with tracks like "Stay Awhile" and "With Me" as the girls give us playful yet powerful vocals also Nicole's "Oh's" in the background of most parts really adds to the song then there's her other part where she takes over the final part for Naomi in the pre-chorus which she sings higher almost yelling but it still sounds good the harmonies here weren't extremely great as you can hear them but you can clearly hear Layla's vocals over them all which is a shame because some nice harmonies would've sounded great here but apart from that the girls do really bring it here vocally on their solos then the ad-libs also add to the vocal performance the girls' voices go almost perfectly with the fun pop beat apart from Naomi who might be the weaker vocalist on this track as it sounds a bit more forced here than it did on some of the previous R&B styled tracks however the clear standouts here were Layla and Nicole then behind them Alex then Jamie then Naomi despite what you may think though Jamie actually also delivered rather well here as she usually does but this is the first track we've heard Alex actually sing a longer note which is accompanied by Nicole who does hold it a bit longer than Alex however that makes it that much better knowing that Alex can actually do that with her voice I'll give the girls an 7,5/10 here for a really excellent vocal delivery

Synopsis: The song starts out with a siren type sound before we hear synths begin to play then drums and finally Nicole's vocals come in as she sings the "Oh's in the opening then through the background of Naomi as she speaks saying each of the girls names going down a line starting with Jamie then Layla then Alex then Nicole and herself asking if their ready for this before mentioning the groups name giving a slight nod to Destiny's Child's "Bootylicious" before we hear Jamie come in singing in a more laid back voice than the powerful vocals we'd expect from her however it does sound pretty good as she sings the uplifting lyrics we then hear Naomi come in who it sounds a bit more forced on as she sings through the part we hear her come in once again singing the pre-chorus which is shared with Layla it sounds a bit less forced but it's still clear her vocals fit better on R&B inspired tracks rather than pop before we hear Layla come in with that unique voice singing in a similar way to Naomi but pulling it off slightly better as this is more her style but instead of her singing the last lyrics which are "Don't lose yourself" we hear Alex come in singing it in that more husky voice instead before we get to the chorus which is harmonized through however Layla's voice can easily be heard above the rests here after it finishes the song slows down a bit and we hear Nicole come in singing in a more laid back style much like Jamie did earlier however when Layla comes in she sings slightly higher even slightly over singing it compared to the previous girls and as she sings the last lyrics "You got it all" we hear her do a somewhat difficult sounding riff as she goes higher and higher with it after finishing it we get back into the pre-chorus where Naomi starts it off singing in the same way she did before however this time Nicole finishes it for her instead as she sings it higher almost yelling it yet it still sounds good somehow before we hear Layla come in singing her part once again and finishing it this time adding another difficult sounding riff at the end we then hear the girls sing the chorus once again before we hear Layla sing slower "Mmm yeah you're beautiful said you're beautiful" we then hear Naomi come back in speaking again to Alex saying "Aye yo Alex where you at?" as the song picks back up once again we then hear a different slightly different sounding beat as Alex sings the bridge in that huskier voice we've come to know we also hear Layla do an ad-lib in the back before it comes to an end we hear Alex and Nicole hold the last lyrics slightly higher with Alex singing lower and Nicole singing higher we then hear the girls come back in for the chorus twice however the second time around we only hear the girls harmonies in the back singing along to the beat before along with a few ad-libds from Layla before the song comes to an end

Title: Don't Even Wanna Know
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: Pop
Length: 3:55
Writer(s): Alex Grey, Brandon Grey, Michael Black
Producer(s): Brandon Grey, Michael Black

"Don't Even Wanna Know" is the fifteenth track off of girl group SYNCO's third studio album "Our World" and the last track on the standard edition of the album the song was written by Alex Grey, Brandon Grey and Michael Black and was produced by Brandon and Michael once again on this track Alex opens up about a personal experience in a previous relationship she had about a year before auditioning for SYNCO however despite the song being about a relationship from a few years ago Alex started writing the song recently for this album stating that she heard the first song that was playing during the period she found out this boy was cheating on her and it brought her back to that very emotion she immediately turned the radio off and headed over to her piano where she played the simple piano notes that are actually heard on the song she then began writing the lyrics as she played the piano giving us one of the most personal songs on the album as she speaks about knowing that the person is cheating on her but pretending that she doesn't just to stay with him it's a side we don't often get to see/hear from the groups tough girl Alex she showed the song to Michael and Brandon who made slight adjustments to the lyrics along with production and this serves as the first official ballad to be heard throughout the entire album and the only one as well

Lyrically: The song is a very emotional and personal song which shows the most through the lyrics as it speaks on a completely different topic rather than breaking up, having fun, love or any of the previous themes on the album this one opens up about a relationship Alex Grey had with a boy who she has chosen not to really call out saying that he'd know who he is if or when he heard it the lyrics to this song are so personal and emotional that it could probably bring a grown man to tears the song may also be relatable to almost anybody who has been in love and cheated on it's almost like you know you're being cheated but you still have strong feelings for this person and you just can't let them go so you choose not to and to just hold onto them yes it is a sadder topic even sadder than a bad break up and Alex along with her brother Brandon and longtime producer/writer/friend Michael really bring out that emotion here through the lyrics for one of the most tragically beautiful lyrics on the album earning the first 10/10 for the girls on lyrics here

Production: The production on this track is very simple and very laid back but at the same time captures all of the emotion of the lyrics perfectly with only a slow simple piano progression throughout the verses and opening and added violins in the chorus and bridge the piano also begins to slow down slightly during the pre-chorus which adds to the two very simple lines there the production on this track shows a completely different side to the girls once again that I fell in love with they managed to use a very simple instrumental here to a ballad and do it in a way that isn't boring of course it isn't exactly the funnest track on the album or even fun really but it is one of the sweeter sounding tracks giving us a break from the previous upbeat songs we've been hearing for awhile now Michael and Brandon once again prove themselves here as a perfect production team showing no mistakes and just capturing that emotion perfectly I'll give this track a 9/10 for production again it's not a very complicated song it's actually very simple and yet emotional and the boys just managed to pull it together almost perfectly

Vocal delivery: Possibly the very best vocal delivery on the album from the girls if not "Let Me Love You" if the production brings out the emotion in this track then the girls do 100 times more it's one of the more laid back vocal tracks for the girls though they managed to keep it on the calmer side and not really over sing this track but just show the emotion instead the girls sing here as if they knew exactly what Alex was going through and each girl delivered almost perfectly on the track and honestly it's the emotional ballads like this that I want to hear from SYNCO more because they've each got beautiful voices which is really proven on this song they just need more tracks like this and "Let Me Love You" to show it off a bit more Alex despite writing the song does not take the lead vocals here only getting a small part in the verse which she shared with Nicole who is the actual lead Alex decided early on that she didn't want to lead this song and after hearing all of the girls sing lead she decided on Nicole because she was said to have connected with the emotion of the song a bit more than the other girls and just capture the feelings she felt somehow and god was she right to pick her because Nicole did an excellent job here leading the chorus and opening up the track keeping the theatrics in her vocals to a minimum and keeping her powerful voice tamed during the chorus but apart from that we also hear the girls' beautiful harmonies in the pre-chorus and after each chorus with their "Oh"'s we also hear Naomi and Alex give us one of their amazing harmonies in Naomi's verse it just seems as though their voices mesh together perfectly speaking of Naomi she also really delivered on this track along with Layla and Jamie who got an extremely tiny part but managed to kill the tiny part she got I can't pick a favorite really because all of the girls did their job on this one but if I had to I'd go with Nicole who sang beautifully throughout most of the song vocally this one is another 10/10 for the girls

Synopsis: The song starts out with a single piano note being played first then we hear it played again as the girls harmonize through the intro only singing "Oh" four times which despite being one of the smaller harmonies actually sounds excellent we then hear Nicole officially start the song with the first verse singing in a more laid back style not really showing off the theatrics in her voice which is a nice change of pace after Nicole's part we hear Alex come in transitioning perfect as she sings in that deeper almost haunting husky voice which goes along perfectly with a more stripped back song like this we then hear all the girls come in for the pre-chorus which is played slightly slower Nicole can be heard over them slightly as they all sing the two lines together before they stop the piano then begins to build to the chorus where we now hear only Nicole singing slightly higher but remaining in that laid back style we heard from the first verse there are also violins added with the piano before the chorus comes to an end we then hear the girls all come back in singing the "Oh"'s we heard in the intro of the song they do this until we hear Naomi come in for the second verse which is once again sung in a more laid back style Naomi also shows off her deeper smoother vocals here rather nicely like Alex managed to do earlier even giving us a short harmony with Alex who takes the higher part while Naomi takes the lower part before we hear the girls come in for the pre-chorus once again this time we can hear Naomi singing slightly over the girls like we did with Nicole earlier before we hear the beat pick up slightly we then hear Nicole come back in once again this time showing off her vocals a bit more and showing off the control she has over her vocals more as well as she manages to sing higher but not over do it here after the chorus finishes we hear the girls all come in as the violins remain almost building up to the bridge we also hear Jamie adding ad-libs as the girls harmonize together through the "Oh"'s the song then slows down completely as we hear Layla come in singing in that unique voice showing off a lighter side to it as she sings sounding rather emotional but at the same time laid back after finishing her part we hear the song begin to build up again along with Jamie who sings a higher note the girls then all come in and harmonize throughout the chorus while Jamie adds ad-libs in the back showing off the power and range in her voice a bit more we hear the girls singing through the chorus twice before Nicole finally finishes the final lyric and the song comes to an end

Title: So Done
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: Pop, soul-pop
Length: 3:10
Writer(s): Alex Grey, Naomi White, Dominic Brown, Michael Black
Producer(s): Dominic Brown, Michael Black

"So Done" is the sixteenth track off of girl group SYNCO's third studio album "Our World" and the first of three tracks from the deluxe edition the track was written by Naomi White, Alex Grey and Dominic Brown and produced by Dominic Brown and Michael Black the track started out with just the girls singing another break up song however they decided to switch it up a bit and add Dominic onto the track since they've already done so many regular break up tracks in the past they wanted this one to be more of an argument between a couple rather than just a one sided song about the break up after getting into contact with him Dominic agreed to be on the track and they also contacted Michael Black who agreed to co-produce the track along with Dominic so Dominic finished up his parts taking out a few lines the girls had down which was completely fine then they recorded the song once more and were happy with the finished product

Lyrically: This is actually one of SYNCO's better songs lyrically with writing credits from two of SYNCO's best writers plus a writing and producing credit from one of the top writers/producers of today it's not really a surprise and the girls' and Dominic's lyrics seem to mesh together rather well as the three write together about a failing relationship it seems as though they're really speaking to each other or maybe ex mates? Hmmm I wonder who that could be anyway as I've already said quite a few times the lyrics are really good the three write together really well and hopefully this is the first of many collaborations between the six and that we get more of Dominic producing hits for them it's a shame that this was just included as a deluxe track since there were so many other tracks this could've easily replaced on the standard edition but anyway this track gets a 7.5/10 for lyrics

Production: The production of this track which was done by Brown and Black yes the production was done by two colors and the song was written by two colors and a shade anyway back to the point the production of this track was done rather well despite it's more laid back sound with only a guitar and an organ in the bridge I'd say they really made this track work well drawing inspiration from pop and soul-pop the two really managed to bring something different here it's not very often that we get a pop song consisting only of acoustic guitar and the organ the that's pretty cool the only thing is the simplicity of this specific track causes it to drag on a bit but it's still a pretty good track production wise and it is really nice seeing the girls and Dominic try something different here so kudos to them and also this track gets a 7/10 for the production

Vocal delivery: So the vocal delivery here isn't incredible but that's not exactly what you're looking for on this type of track you can't really have runs and ad-libs and super belts all over the place starting out with a shared verse between Naomi and Alex who show off higher sides to their usually deep voices sounds pretty good Naomi starts it out with her smoother vocals compared to Alex who follows with her huskier vocals we also get small parts from Nicole on the pre-chorus Dominic also sounds pretty good as he sings in a rather mellow laid back style which definitely goes with the track but I have to say though it was a little over-sung on both parts Jamie and Layla's part really was incredible we also had a part where we heard Nicole and Dominic harmonizing which is a very unexpected yet amazing blend for some reason also hearing Dominic harmonize with all of the girls in the second two chorus' is a nice change of pace for the girls as well the song wasn't extremely overdone vocally but it wasn't underdone either it hit almost perfectly in all the places it needed to 8/10

Synopsis: The song starts out with a guitar playing we then immediately hear Naomi come in singing a bit higher than usual with that smooth voice she sings along with the guitar for a little while sounding a bit strange in this higher tone before we hear Alex come in singing in a similar style however unlike Naomi her vocals are a bit huskier and scratchier which doesn't sound bad but like Naomi it's a bit strange hearing her sing in this kind of style especially after we just heard her singing in a style that could give chills to Satan we then hear Nicole come in for the pre-chorus she sings as if she is actually singing to a boyfriend here sounding almost angry before we go into the chorus where we hear all the girls singing in harmony however Naomi's voice can be heard slightly over the harmonies after the chorus finishes we hear Dominic come in singing in a rather laid back style which really goes well with the guitar before the girls all come back in harmonizing together along with Dominic who joins in on the harmonies bringing a whole new element to their harmonies after this chorus the guitar is replaced by an organ piano we hear Layla come in opening up with a higher riff before going back down to a more laid back style with that unique voice she then goes higher once more before she reaches the end of her part where we hear all of the girls harmonize before we hear Jamie come in singing her part similar to Layla however she doesn't add a riff in the beginning she waits until the end to add a riff and doesn't add the harmonies to the end of hers we then hear Dominic come back in singing in that laid back style once again up until the last part of his verse where he goes slightly higher we then hear him and Nicole harmonize throughout the pre-chorus their voices blending almost perfectly despite being such an odd couple to harmonize together we then hear everyone come in once again to harmonize through the chorus twice before the song finally comes to an end

Title: Go On
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: Pop, R&B
Length: 4:10
Writer(s): Layla Sanchez, Alex Grey, Naomi White, Brandon Grey
Producer(s): Brandon Grey

"Go On" is the seventeenth track off of girl group SYNCO's third studio album "Our World" and the second of three tracks from the deluxe edition the track was written by group members Layla Sanchez, Alex Grey, Naomi White and producer/songwriter Brandon Grey it was also produced by Brandon Grey the track speaks of letting go of someone you love so they can be happy or pursue something that makes them happy the track is similar to that of Austin Nimmo's "Real" since Layla started writing the track in s similar state of mind though the couple is happy she thought what if one day this time comes she managed to tap into the emotion of having to let go of her first boyfriend and letting him go even if she was unhappy about it to have him be happy she showed the track to her band mates and Brandon Grey who added slight adjustments to the track Brandon then came up with the instrumental for the track and the rest is history

Lyrically: Lyrically the track speaks about letting go of someone you love and though it might be tough on you, you still know that you have to do it to make them happy and yourself the song could have been written a bit better especially since we've got the bands two best writers Naomi White and Alex Grey who co-wrote it plus one of the better writers for the girls Brandon Grey it can be compared to the last track on the standard edition of the album "Don't Even Wanna Know" in the way that the girls managed to bring out some emotion through the lyrics and maybe it could even be considered a continuation in the story of that track but just knowing it's not as personal makes the track lose some of that emotion I will say though lyrically it's one of the better tracks on the album and deserved to make the final cut for the standard edition but I guess the girls/producers/Khan? Didn't really see it in that way and they just added it as a track on the deluxe version so here we go the lyrics here are good really good actually but could have been done better I don't know what it is but it feels like there's just one thing missing for this track to be on of the best ones on the album it has the potential the perfect story and like I said could even have been a continuation to the story of "Don't Even Wanna Know" but there just seems to be something missing here I'll give this track a 7/10 because though there is something missing that I can't explain really it is a really good maybe even one of the better tracks lyrically

Production: Production wise the track was done pretty good it manages to keep that emotional sound in while giving off a radio friendly sound as well which is a shame considering it's just a bonus track again I have to say this track is better than some of the tracks on the standard edition of the album I don't know what whoever was in was thinking when they only included it on the deluxe edition because with synths that make the track radio friendly and a drum progression that keeps the track emotional plus the piano in the bridge it makes this one of the more unique yet more radio friendly tracks and despite having a rather emotional meaning to it it still manages to not be just a boring ballad which a lot of songs make the mistake of doing I actually think this track had the makings of a pretty decent single production wise and like I said it is better than quite a few of the standard edition tracks on production so I'll give this one an 8/10 for production Brandon really seems to know what he's doing here

Vocal delivery All of the girls managed to give a really good vocal delivery here because this is the type of track that fits them all rather well with equal elements of both pop and R&B none of the girls are really left out here especially Naomi and Layla who have rather weak/strong voices suiting both genres Naomi being stronger on the more R&B tracks and weaker on pop then Layla being stronger on the pop and weaker on the R&B tracks however despite them all sounding really good here the standouts are Jamie and Layla especially towards the bridge where the girls manage to deliver a powerful and emotional sound to their vocals which isn't something we hear too often from Layla also Jamie delivers the chorus extremely well with back up from the girls who harmonize all together on the "Go on" parts so with good harmonies and good/great solos this track gets an 8.5/10 for overall vocal delivery

Synopsis: The song starts out with a synth playing for a few seconds before a piano kicks in and Nicole starts singing in a deeper voice not really showing off the theatrics in her vocals here which again comes off a bit forced we then hear Naomi come in as the girls smoothly transition in the first verse singing in that more naturally deep smooth voice she continues on with the chorus before we hear Nicole come back in for the pre-chorus the beat changes and we hear a piano come in along with a few violins that build up to the chorus along with Nicole vocally the instruments then stop for a moment and we hear Nicole sing the last lyric acapella here before it kicks back in with synths playing along a rather nice drum percussion as the girls come in harmonizing "Go on" we the hear Jamie who takes lead on this track come in singing in a higher voice before the girls harmonize once again we then hear Jamie come back in taking the next part in a similar way as before, before lowering her vocals when she sings "Even if it's without me" we then hear Alex come in singing in a deeper huskier voice similar to the girls in the first verse before we hear Layla come in who it seems more forced on than Alex as her voice is naturally a bit higher it doesn't sound bad though just a bit forced we then hear Nicole come back in singing the pre-chorus in the same way with a few ad-libs from Layla added to it before we hear the chorus which is done the same way but this time it's extended a bit as they repeat the words again the beat then changes to just piano as Jamie really shows off her vocals here singing higher than before with more power and emotion to her vocals as she gives us a run in the first line before we hear Layla come in singing in a similar way but then really showing off the power in her voice towards the end before the chorus comes back in where we hear the girls singing it the same way with a few ad-libs added again by Layla who really shows off her vocals here the song continues on for a bit before Jamie sings the last line and it comes to an end

I know you gotta go now
I can't follow
But this is for the best
If I let you go

I'd ask to stay in touch
But I can't baby
I hate to see you go
But I can't hold you back today

And I know this is the end
The end of you and I
I hope that happiness is what you find
And yes baby it kills me
But I won't tell you no
Cause I know it's gonna hurt more
If you don't just go

So go on
I know I'll always miss you
Go on
Find whatever you're looking for out there
Even if it's without me

I won't forget you don't forget me babe
Here's hoping that you can find your way

If you somehow find new love
I'll be happy but our love was something
I cannot replace

And I know this is the end
The end of you and I
I hope that happiness is what you find
And yes baby it kills me
But I won't tell you no
Cause I know it's gonna hurt more
If you don't just go

So go on
I know I'll always miss you
Go on
Find whatever you're looking for out there
Go on
I know I'll always miss you
Go on
Find whatever you're looking for out there
Even if it's without me

And I'm gonna try to be my strongest
Try to fight back these tears
So you don't have to stay here
yeah
I'mma try to be as tough as I can now
Cause I can't live with the guilt of knowing
I kept you here

So go on
I know I'll always miss you
Go on
Find whatever you're looking for out there
Go on
I know I'll always miss you
Go on
Find whatever you're looking for out there
Even if it's without me

Title: Them Ladies
Label: Five Pesky Kids Records
Genre: Pop, R&B
Length: 3:34
Writer(s): Alex Grey, Layla Sanchez, Naomi White, Nicole Wright, Jamie Jackson
Producer(s): Brandon Grey, Melanie Houston, Michael Black, David Levitz

"Them Ladies" is the eighteenth and final track off of girl group SYNCO's third studio album "Our World" it's also the third and final of three tracks from the deluxe edition the song was written by group members Alex Grey, Layla Sanchez, Naomi White, Nicole Wright and Jamie Jackson it was produced by David Levitz, Melanie Houston, Brandon Grey and Michael Black the song was written to pay homage to fellow girl groups that the girls have listened to and loved throughout the years dropping names like Brown Sugar, The Dolls, Mi Mi, TLC, Destiny's Child, G2L, Storm, Cherry Street, Girlspice and others as well the song is more of a girl power anthem than most of the previous tracks saying only good things about the other girl groups mentioned in the track along with a fun beat that'll make you want to get up and dance and sing along it'll possibly make you question why this wasn't released as a single

Lyrically: This track is one of the best tracks on the album all around to be honest with no exception for the lyrics the girls draw inspiration from past and current girl groups and sing about them in a positive way basically telling the critics that "We don't care if you compare us to them we grew up loving them and love them right now" taking it as more of an honor than an insult the girls go on to compare themselves to the groups actually in a fun way while complimenting every single girl group mentioned and it really pisses me off that this track wasn't added to the standard edition because though it might not be the very best song lyrically it's definitely up there it's clever, unique and just fun lyrically it's not very often you hear a band or group mention other similar artists in a positive way even solo artists have trouble with that at times seeing all of the rap wars that go on but this song manages to mention all of these girls in a unique, witty and cute way with lyrics like "we can be sweet just like Brown Sugar too", "They tell us bring it back but like Cherry Street we rockin", "Like The Dolls we hot, and like Mi Mi we sang" then my favorite "We causin' a storm like a blizzard cause we so cool" they also manage to mention the Supremes and and En Vogue in the same line but it's not only the name drops that are great the girls manage to pull out an extremely catchy pre-chorus even encouraging "The ladies on that pole" sure there are some cheesy lyrics but that really doesn't take much away from the track lyrically overall this one gets a 10/10 for lyrics

Production: So to add to those fun, catchy and witty beat we get an equally fun and catchy beat the song was produced by David Levitz, Brandon Grey, Michael Black and Melanie Houston who manage to really pull out something incredible here with an upbeat fun track that will get you dancing with tons of instruments being played in different sections of the song along with some fun synths added the track once again gathers elements from pop and R&B so none of the girls are left out here overall we take three of the girls' BEST producers and one of their decent producers and get them together to give us an instrumental full of fun moments with different sections that show off some of their styles differently this track might just be the best dance song production wise and I believe this is the first song I'm going to give a 10/10 to production wise correct me if I'm wrong anyway the producers definitely did a great job of adding their own styles together and blending them to fit each girls vocals here

Vocal delivery: By far the BEST vocal delivery we've gotten from the girls so far and it couldn't come at a better time because the album is ending now this is the perfect song to end the album because they really managed to bring it here all around with fun catchy lyrics and a beat to match then adding a killer vocal performance where each girl really shows off their vocal talents and harmonies especially Jamie in the beginning where she opens up the song with a rather difficult and complicated riff it may not seem like much but it definitely isn't something easy to pull off she does this right before we hear her come in for taking the entire first part of the chorus really showing off her vocal talents here the girls then manage to harmonize throughout the next part of the chorus which was definitely done well we also hear Naomi and Alex singing in different way but it doesn't take away at all from their vocal performance as Alex sings higher we hear the huskiness in her voice still which sounds great we then hear Naomi singing in a similar way with her smoother more urban vocals bringing a more urban side to both her verses and the pre-chorus Nicole and Layla might be get overlooked on this track but they also delivered pretty well on the pre-chorus they share however despite every girl sounding amazing here we have to give it up to Jamie Jackson and Naomi White who brought the song together and managed to deliver excellent vocal performances here and for a perfect score the girls get a 10/10 here vocally so congratulations SYNCO just wish you released this as a single rather than a bonus track

Synopsis: The song starts out with Jamie showing off her vocals as she opens it acapelle with a rather difficult and complicated riff going higher and higher with it before we hear the instruments start up which she sings with throughout the first half of the chorus showing off the improvements really well here in her vocals which she didn't seem to have much control over during the first album after finishing the first half we hear all the girls come in harmonizing through the second half of the chorus along with only a drum playing along with their vocals they manage to pull off a rather nice sounding harmony until we finally hear chorus/intro come to an end we then hear Alex come in singing in a higher voice her huskiness seems to show as well but it sounds rather nice here dropping girl group names like Spice Girls, Destiny's Child and TLC before we hear Naomi come in singing in a similar style however her vocals are smoother and she brings a more urban swag to the verse dropping names like The Dolls and Mi Mi then also mentioning their second album "Grown" she's also backed up by the girls' harmonies with lyrics like "She ain't lyin" and "We gon' shine" we hear Naomi continue through the verse we then hear Naomi continue on to sing the first half of the catchy pre-chorus bringing that more urban styled voice in here before we hear Alex continue on singing in a similar style along with the same lyrics we then hear the chorus which is done the same time as before with Jamie leading and then the girls harmonizing before we hear Naomi come in taking the entire second verse to herself this time dropping names like G2L, Brown Sugar, GirlSpice, Storm, The Supremes and En Vogue singing it all in that more urban voice she has similar to how she sang the first verse we also hear all the girls back her up again with their harmonies in this part before we hear Nicole come in singing the pre-chorus in a similar style to the previous girls however she shows a bit more power in her vocals we then hear Layla come in who manages to change up the lyrics and add a more unique sound with her unique vocals to the chorus managing to also mention Cherry Street we then hear the chorus once more which is done the same way as before, before the song comes to an end

Ladies light it up cause you know we run this

Ohh we be them ladies
Got your heart skippin' beats
Baby don't you see you will always need us
Ohh we get them all sprung
I don't think that they know
See us we reachin' the top
Don't believe me? Baby Just watch

Baby we got this
You know you can't deny
We first we never late
We like angels from heaven
They want us cause we sick
We make them come alive
And we can back it up some more
He tryna get this but he ain't even know what's up

Valentina: MY BABIES, I'm sososo proud of you all for making this flawless record. Hold on cause I'm bout to fangirl... okay *deep breaths* Well, to start, it's a true consistent record with bop after bop that I can just leave on in the car without having to skip through the lame ones cuz they clearly don't exist here, even the deluxe tracks are A+ for me, queens. My faves are "Out Of Here" cause my girlfriend is sassy asf on the chorus, "Stay Awhile" is still a smash and the shoutouts on "Them Ladies" are basically everything. I'm dead and buried yassss. Applause

Scott Rose-Hilton: I think you guys know how much I support SYNCO and everything you do. I see you guys as one of our Chaos bands, always at our awards shows and always killing it. So in some ways it makes me proud to see just how far you've come in your career. It's amazing to see the progression that we have over the years, and this is no different. The sound is so mature, and classy, yet still everything you could ever want a pop album to be. Given who you are compared to and stuff, I think you girls honestly do the most miraculous job of representing the new generation of female pop bands. This is a fantastic album from start to finish, lyrically, and especially vocally. I think you've really come to find that sort of harmony as a group that can only come from working together and so closely for so long.

OOC: Great work on this. Really good lyrics throughout and I can tell you put so much work into it :)

Jamie: Aww thank you soooooo much Aliya I'm so happy you enjoyed the album and those two happen to be my favorites too but I can't make any promises on that being released since it's just a bonus/deluxe track :/ but I really am glad you enjoyed the album thanks again for all the compliments :)

Alex: Thank you Scott I think it's pretty obvious that Chaos has been a huge help for us to be where we are today with signing the people who own our label and giving us so many opportunities to perform and even host on one occasion you and Chaos have definitely played a big part in our success whether people see that or not and thank you I'm glad that people are seeing what we were trying to show here and I'm really glad that you enjoyed the album and yeah after being stuck with those other ladies it's hard not to get those harmonies down haha but thanks again Scott and again I'm really glad you enjoyed the album (:

OOC: Thank you Scott :) also thanks for adding Foxxxy's part :)

Honor: To continue what I said on Twitter, I found the album to be a bit lackluster. I think there was too much focus on trying to be more sexier rather than trying to grow your sound and mature it, but sometimes that takes years and future albums to do that in. I'll still be watching to see when you get to that point. It was an enjoyable album for the most part, I think I mainly liked the singles and felt there was a lot of filler.

Alex: Whenever I see your comments or reviews about our stuff I look towards it as a way to improve because there are some critics out there who are either too sugary sweet then there are the ones who are mean to be funny and don't exactly give you areas to improve there are also those who come off as mean for the sake of their careers or to keep up some sort of charade that they're this badass but I won't get into all that anyway you on the other hand are just up front you're not biased and I always appreciate your criticism and try to take it into consideration because my outlook and opinion on our music plus a lot of the music on the radio is oddly sort of similar to yours so if not all of us then at least I will take your comments into consideration and hopefully we can continue to improve because though a lot of people might not see or say it I still think there's room for us to improve anyway thanks for checking out the album and sharing your opinion on it Honor it's appreciated

Dustyn: Jamie, you coulds turn me straight, I swear! All of you ladies could! hehe. I really loves this album from start to finish. I remember auditioning you girls and being all nervous for you and rooting for you plus everyone who came in to audition. Some of you look so scared and having Billy and Scott being all intense probably didn't help :P It's great seeing and hearing how confident you are now, not just as fine young ladies but as artists too. You know what you wants to say, how you wants to present yourself and you isn't scared to go about doing that anymore. This album oozes confidence and a little bit of sexiness too ;P My faves are "Don't Even Wanna Know", "Come On Get It", "Beautiful", "Don't Wait Up" and "What We Do" < I shake my booty to that one :P Love you girls xx

OOC: Glad that you got this out and it all worked out for you. I know how much work you put into it and it really shows :)
