There will be also a special limited LP edition of the single for the die-hard fans, One of the remixes of this release will be streaming on 23rd of March, at the same time it will be available for airplay. The song will also be feature on the upcoming Greatest Hits album set to be released in April 20th. This compilation is going to celebrate the five years of career of Abie Lena, five years signed with Studio 60 after having sold around 35 million copies of albums and singles. Abie has a lot to celebrate recently as well, with her “Immortal World Tour” going back to USA this month for a second sold out leg, its last leg was in Europe where Abie was able to travel the whole continent with her own sister supporting her. The single will be released in a special edition in form of an EP which will feature five versions of the same track, the first one being the original version of the album, the second, a special remix produced by Drake Anton Zaslavsky (mISTER_b) set to rotate on radio stations, the third and fourth ones are acoustic versions, and the last one in form of a video taken from Abie’s tour. The original version of the song has a variety of strings instruments but the main of them all is the harp. The melodic notes performed on harp set the mood for the entire track, despite the intimate harp melody the track receives other treats, such as bass, synths and an orchestra backing vocal which combined to Abie’s acute vocals, adds an epic esthetic to the song. For the remix track, Drake worked with trip hop beats, so bass and synth in a mid-tempo tries to maintain the melodic aspects of the original version of this track, but he also added a very dramatic piano riff through the track and Abie’s vocals are heavily effected, expect when she performs the chorus, where Drake decided to leave it clean and hearable. The two acoustic versions of the track are not that much different from the original version of it, they all have the same tempo and melodic aspects, but the first acoustic one, keeps the harp and the violins and in place of the bass and synth its added an acoustic guitar, for the other one, there’s only a free style piano performance accompanying Abie’s vocals. The last version of the song comes to be a live music video filmed during the world tour, this video will also be added to Abie Lena’s vevo account next Sunday. This special released will anticipate the first compilation album by the singer, a compilation which will be entitled “Greatest Hits: The best of me”. Not only of hit singles this compilation will be, it will also feature the favorites tracks of the fans, a research was done by Studio 60 during the Immortals World Tour and the fans could picked up 5 of the 17 songs that will be feature don the album. A DVD is going to be released as a deluxe edition of it, it will feature all the music videos Abie Release in these five years of career and a concert filmed at the Staple Center of her most recent world tour. Abie has tour dates until June of 2015, another single is expected to be released before the album comes out, for this next single it appears to be a new song Abie wrote specially for this release. It was directed by Nick Wickham and it will be featured on a special DVD which will include not only the live performance but all music videos of Abie’s five years of career. Abie plays the piano on this performance, contrary the original sound of the song which comes to be the harp, but for a purpose of better sounding in live performance, Abie is at her Piano playing the song. Lighted by purple and pink lights, the entire stage’s cannon lights are pointed to Abie, she seems to be the focus of the performance. Despite the song was not a single during the time it was recorded, several people in the audience of the soul out night, knows the lyrics of the emotional song. The interpretation Abie gives is also something to admire, she incorporates the feelings of the track in every word she sung, she was always such an emotional powerful vocal singer, but even with intimate songs like this one, where there’s no loud acute, she keeps the feeling under the skin. Abie is focused looking to the keys she’s playing during the performance, but sometimes she points her head to the side where she can see the crowd and she gives them a slightly smile noticing that they’re actually singing some lines of the unknown track. The song has additional instrumentations, such as violins and bass and even backing vocals, for this world tour, Abie is traveling with an entire orchestra and with no doubt this orchestra breaks in this performance after Abie had done the first half of the track, which added a level of theatrical aspects to it. The entire orchestra is lighted in purple and pink such as Abie. There’s a large led screen projecting visual concepts in the backside of the stage, it is projecting a rose getting old as the environment around this flower pass fast, we can see the clouds and night and the day come over and over again, in a certain moment of the track where there’s only instrumentation, when the orchestra shows all its potential and Abie accompanying them on her piano, this Flower dies in the screen, culminating into the last chorus of the performance. Everything is subtle but theatrical, Abie looks stunning on her black dress in her favorite place sited on her piano, she is so adorable to watch, her powerful vocals are impressive but contrasts with her shy and pretty personality. The last moments of the performance sees Abie thanking her crowd by bowing her head as they loudly clap and screams for her.

The single is streaming this week and it will receive a digital release for the following week on ITunes. Abie is still touring on her successful immortals world tour and it happens that this song is going to be the newest material we’re having from Miss Lena for sometime, as she already announced on her twitter account that after she ends her world tour, she’s taking a break on her career to focus on her personal life. Abie has been working for over five years now, in the midst of it she discovered a disease, she had a relationship with her doctor and she signed a multi-million contract with her record label. So many things for a young lady like her in a short period of time. As a celebration for all her accolades she decided to release a Greatest Hits. So far the album that’s been streaming since the begging of April, the fans could take a journey into Abie’s most loved tracks and eve revive her old Motown roots, some of the music critics started to think about what made Abie changes her music style so much from her first record to her last one. Even though Abie is taking a break, fans around the world claim for her to come with new music the sooner she can, she is quiet about writing music, although she said before that she’s always writing and recording new music, we cannot predict how long it will take for her to release a new album, but one thing is certain, whenever she’s ready to release new material, we hope she’ll bring her roots back. The single is already being performed on tour, another live video of a performance is going to be streaming next week on her Vevo Channel, but the song will receive a music video directed by Emily Kai Bock and Abie herself, schedule to be filmed during the break of Abie’s touring nex Month (May 2015). Song Description "Worst side of me" lasts for a duration of 3:52 (three minutes and fifty two seconds). It as an electropop song, however it explores Abie’s art pop sensibilities. The song features Abie's "brooding croon" over minimal synthesizers and rattling drums. It can be compared to Abie’s previous album “The End Starts Now” which saw the use of mainstream pop genres like hip hop, mixed with classical and indie elements. The minimalist style presented in the song also can be compared to other tracks of her second studio album “Seasons” and the song of the same name, despite it does not have any influence of soul music, it has an apathetic tone that’s present on songs that Abie makes a self – analyses of her own persona. Vocals are controlled and low key on the verses of the track, in the chorus, there’s a spark to her voice which raises the key of the track and also adds some falsettos. The lyrics are straightforward and works as a warning to anyone who wants to understand what’s going through Abie Lena’s mind. She is often categorized as fragile and sad woman, but it appears that she has some rage in her, a rage that she tries to maintain asleep on her inner personality and that she doesn’t want it to be awaken for no circumstances, but she warns to not be tempted to show her devil side. The first lines of song are sung by Abie as she stares the lens of the camera in front of her, there’s an intimacy on Abie’s eyes, it does feel like she is looking for someone, the entire video is based on this relationship between Abie and the three angles that are filming her, own in front of her and two other ones in her left and in her right. But she only stares the angle in front of her. The first verse of the track consists of this interaction between Abie and the camera, she bounces her body upwards and backwards, trying to find a balance among so many dark and intimate words expressed by the song. As the pre-chorus approaches, it’s revealed that surrounding Abie there are screens showing her old music videos and interviews and performances that she gave throughout the years of her career. Sometimes the lens of the cameras are blurred following the beats of the song, in other moments Abie is shaking her hair trying to get rid of the ghosts disturbing her thoughts. Obviously a metaphor about what happened to her life in the music business, the gossips and the interpretation people gave about herself without really knowing her. In the first chorus she spread her arms as a gesture of ‘enough’, she raises her head and all the videos on the screens around her are turned off, a special effect of some sort of magnetic power emanated from her body and she starts to walk frenetically through the room performing the impacting chorus, she often points the camera with anger and rage, she sort of dances as well, as if she was liberating herself from a trap, or some kind of mind prison. The second verse starts and Abie is centered in the middle of the room again, balls of paintings are thrown at her from the screens that were shut off in the previous scene, now Abie is once again trapped, she doesn’t move and still keeps being bombed by all of these paintings in different colors. At some point the camera closes on her face and a red paint hits her, she quits the lip-sync by screaming, opening her mouth in a state of anger, but yet she doesn’t move. The pre-chorus starts again and as Abie sings it, she caresses her body mixing all the painting covering herself, this feels like she is suffering some kind of pain by being disfigured by all of those painting, just like she wasn’t original anymore, now she looks messed and all covered. The second chorus starts and once again she spread her arms and instantly water falls down on her, its intense and it cleans herself up, now that she’s liberated from all of those painting, she starts to walk again through the room, daring the viewers of this video to look at her, renewed by the water, with rage on her eyes, she feels free but she is teasing everyone to watch her rebel side. As the song comes to its climax, Abie centers herself again in the middle of the room, the screen that once showed her old videos and thrown balls of painting at her, now are exploding, Abie spread her arms, screams, liberates her rage and everything starts to blow up, there’s fire approaching her from the ground, but this fire can’t touch her, it forms some kind of circle surrounding her, it burns but it doesn’t touches her body, It didn’t even get close, Abie in the middle of this fire looks fierce, defying the camera in front of her to keep filming her, the same time the scene interchanges to the other two angles, because it fears the rage coming from Abie. As the song resumes to its minimalistic introduction melody, getting to its end, Abie erases all the fire by circling her hands around her, the whole fire extinguishers the moment she is pointing the fire. Now the dark room is quiet again, Abie is looking to the camera in front of her, with fierce eyes, her head half leaned upside down, her eyes raised half covered by her hair, she starts the camera with those confident eyes and the environment gets darker and darker until we can’t see anything left. The video ends.

The concert was recorded as part of Abie's Immortals World tour at the Staple Center in LA, includes songs from her multi-platinum albums, Love and Heartbreak, Seasons, The End Starts Now and her most recent The Grim History of Love. On January of 2015, it was announced Abie would be releasing her Greatest Hits Album which will also include a live concert from her the Immortals World tour on DVD and Blu-ray, however plans changed and now the singer is releasing a brand new DVD aside of her Collection CD. The release includes 120 minutes of concert footage in addition to behind-the-scenes video segments. The track list consists of songs taken from Abie’s first four records. The Immortals World Tour is the second headlining concert tour by Brazilian recording artist Abie Lena. Visiting Europe, North America, South America and Oceania, the tour supports her fourth studio album, The Grim History of Love. A five-piece band backs Abie and backing singers, whilst for some songs she is accompanied by piano only. The setlist comprised all songs from all of her albums, including two medleys and the introduction tracks of her most recent record.. The shows garnered positive critical reviews, many of which emphasized the show's pop Opera nature, as well as the singer's vocal performance and accessible persona. This release also sets the end of Abie’s longest world tour, her last concert will happen tomorrow and this release will be available on Sunday as a celebration of Abie’s undeniable success in the past two years with this tour. Concert Synopsys It’s September 19th of 2014, the gig is at the Staple Center in L.A., fans gathering slowly as the gates were four hours earlier opened, throughout the tour, Abie’s management used to pickup some fans on the crowd for a special meet and greet before Abie goes on stage, thus meet and greet would last around a half hour where Abie could meet an amount of 15 to 20 fans per show. There wasn’t any criteria on picking up the fans. Before the footage of the concert starts, we are able to see a short clip of Abie greeting her fans. She is extremely shy, but she manages to act lovely with them. Some fans enter the room crying, she asks them to stay calm, she hugs them, it’s a lovely moment. Some fans enter the room smiling and laughing and their energy is contagious, Abie follows their laughs and they really have a funny time together. The clips quits to the concert footage. The stage is not as simple as we thought it would be, it has the shape of a theater but instead of curtains it has led panels to everywhere, there’s not catwalk, but it has a curve which makes Abie’s place closer to the audience compared to the corners of the stage, there’s elegant chandeliers in the roof of the stage giving a classic look to it. The band places behind Abie’s pedestal, the lack of space between Abie and her band is quite large, once during some performances, four couple of dancers comes to bring an extra visual aspect to the concert. The band is composed of one percussionist and one drummer, there’s two violinists, three backing vocals, one electric guitar player, one bass player, one string player who also performs the acoustic sets of the concert, one pianist, two sax players, and one programmer. They all dress black tie and so does Abie, by the way Abie don’t change her clothes during the show. The show has separated segments with melodic intros and videos telling a story of a ghost, just like the conception of Abie’s fourth album, but the chronological order in the concert is opposite to the album, so the story starts with the main character already being the ghost and later it goes telling its own story so it gets to the point when it was alive and married, but the encore of the concert takes the “present” time again. The story serves as a background to the songs of the set list, so they are performed in order but most important it is not only following the storyline order but the melodic order too, Abie kicks in the concert with her baroque pop and pop opera repertoire till her most jazz influenced songs, it gives the audience a taste of all Abie Lena facets. The intro melodies are a mood setting, the first one called “After Death” it’s a vocalization, a creepy lullaby, desolating that actually ends the record but here starts the concert, after the first video concept of the show Abie is heard performing it, she comes walking from the back of the stage with only her silhouette appearing, till she gets on her quite stylish pedestal, covered in white crystals, placing her mic and finally singing the first big hit of the night. “Transcending” is another Intro presented on the album and extended in the show, it serves to introduce the pop rock songs of the set, Abie’s band receives some attention here and during the set of songs of this segment, each one of her musicians is presented to her audience as its instrument being played had a certain attention on the song performed, the acoustic set of the concert is also performed in this segment, a very special moment of the show, because Abie can show the connection between her and her musicians. “The Other Side” it’s a mandolin intro and it serves mostly to close the previous segment and to starts the other one who has the main jazz influenced songs of the entire show, “Nowhere” introduces the encore of the night, this creepy piano lullaby takes the audience back to the first segment of the show in a sort of a cycle ending, the concert as if it could re-start from the beginning and transits through the set of songs once again. The set list was carefully made to cheer things up when they are too dark and also to give the fans nostalgic and euphoric moments. Staring with two smash hits “You make me die” and “Dead for a reason” Abie and her 25 thousands backing vocals (the crowd) sing each line of the two songs, great excitement on the second one when Tisha Jackson appears in the led screen in a video performing her part of the song, if you are watching the performance in front of the center of the stage, you’ll easily have the illusion that Tisha is next to Abie behind a pedestal singing as if she was an hologram projection, well she is not, but the visual illusion is real, you only see that she is a led screen projection when you bend to the left or the right of your view, also Tisha recorded live vocals for this performance which helps the illusion to appear real, even more. After two big hits, the new album songs “The last Goodbye” and “Lost in Hell” followed by a welcoming message from Abie turns the set list dark and desolating. “Lost in Hell” receives a special visual treatment, Abie can’t be seen while she performs it, and we only see her silhouette but the colors changes as her voice ranges from lower to higher notes. To end the segmented there’s the fan favorite but not turned into single “Phoenix”, fans avidly singing the words of this track just to prove Abie that they’re loyal fans who loves all of her songs (but seriously I still wonder why Studio 60 didn’t released this as a single). For the following songs, Abie plays strings instruments, starting with an electric guitar for “Epitaph”, the newly announced single “Something Before” and the pop rock medley “He grieves / Burial”, three songs in a row with no pause the last being a medley, putting the fans to dance. This is basically the most rock influence the whole concert receives so imagine bright white lights, some video projection and fan waving their fists above their head, quite unusual for Abie, but hey it’s rock and roll babe. The acoustic segment of the concert turns off the led screen, bring Abie’s musician next to her, they form a half moon circle surrounding Abie, all of them sited in stools and so does Abie in the center of the half circle, but not in front of them, beside them. The lights receive an orange tone and they light up the stage from the ground, it appears that Abie is in some London Pub performing a cover set, till she breaks in with the emotionally apathetic “I’m sad” followed by a re-edition of the even more apathetic “Seasons” and another re-edition of the smash hit “Cold Spring” this one very emotional driven and with vocals shared with the fans, what a wonderful opportunity to get the fans closer by a sing-along in an acoustic set. Back are the most classical tracks of the set, everyone at its place, ballet dancers behind Abie and two orchestral songs, the pleading “Again” and the even more pleading “Little Star”. The ballet it’s quite beautiful, it gives the stage a theater look. The segment continues, but it’s clear that the next songs follow another intonation, perfectly chosen as the shift in the mood of the set list is the medley “No love / Desert of Despair”, it also introduces a moving Abie Lena, who has her pedestal out of the stage and with microphone in her hands she walks sexily the stage, she gets near the edge to hold fans’ hands. The next one “Casual Meeting” sees the dancers back on stage, this time to perform jazz routines, while Abie in some parts of the songs alludes some gestures to her dancers in the end of the performance she introduces the four women and four men accompanying her on tour. Moving to the old jazz influenced “Pimp’s Tears” the interaction between Abie and her dancers is increased, Abie seems to be surrounded by them the entire performance as if they wanted to be next to Abie to share her ironic suffering, represented on the song lines. Don’t forget to mention that this performance is avidly well received by the audience; after all it’s one of Abie’s highest selling singles of her career. “The Pact” and “The Break Up” are performance almost together, if they were not fully performed they could be a medley, for the last one which is another cheered song by the audience due to Abie’s dancing in the final melodies of it just like she performed at the Fan Choice Awards, except that there’s no kiss in this performance, but before we knew she wouldn’t be kissed we thought she would, very exciting and smart to pursue her fans to think about the kiss. The last segment of the show is a back in time travel to Abie’s first and second album and three smash hits, first after the intro comes the folk oriented “The Same Tear” loudly sung by the fans, another sing-along moment on the concert very worthy for Abie’s health, I must say, this song seem to be very exhausting to perform, soon after Abie sits in a classical back piano to perform the heartbreaking “Broke Up!” and this one being in my opinion the best vocal performance of the night, it was just Abie, the piano and her high notes, I never imagined that this song was so beautiful as it is after this performance, don’t blame me if I cried during this performance. The show comes to its final set, “Fake Plastic Life” gave me nostalgic chills, despite Abie performed the entire song, no sing-along at all, it was hard to hear her voice, the fans were louder. After the song, Abie says goodbye to her fans quickly, we knew there was the encore, but we pretend she was leaving. The final intro took us back to the creepy begging of the show, the haunting “Where Immortals Live” is brilliantly performed, the technical of the song is the best of the entire concert, we even thought that Abie’s voice would sound tired, but in fact it is not, she was holding back at some points for this final segment, we are sure of that. A rain of black paper falls down, Abie declares her love for her fans and finally say goodbye to them.
