The single comes from her Debut Album "Paper Light" which will be released on July 23rd announced via Medina on instagram. The single was released on Streaming services a week before the actual release (July 10th), this is Medina's second attempt to reach the mainstream acceptance she has been working for after her failed attempt "Just Stay" charted low in many countries but sold a significantly large amount thanks to her strong Scandinavian fan base. Medina has also been working on the music video and perhaps a celebrity reality show many of our insider tell us. The song lyrically is very folkish, Many of the lyrics sound like their telling a story of a warrior couple struggling to find their own love while they fight their own personal demons. The song can possibly be about that since Medina is from Denmark which is the capital of vikings and Medina does have a major viking blood line on her hands, many Danish News agencies have reported before. The lyrics aren't cheesy and are fairly easy to remember and this can potentially be a major hit with the correct promotion. The songs production came from Swedish pop producer Shellback and British producer Paul Epworth who has joined Medina's production team in Sweden after countless talks between Median and Epworth. Epworth has stated: Quote: The song was fairly easy to produce and the vocals were great, I was also intrigued how Medina put so much attention into the production of the song, most artist I work with pre-record their vocals and send them to me where I can synchronize them to the instrumental, but this was fairly weird due to Medina actually being in the studio everyday to work on the track and the album. The album is being produced with great care and the lyrics are of high quality, I'm excited were Medina will end up going and I hope to produce a whole Album with her one day. It's screaming "I'm a Hit" and I really believe that this one is going to be your first major hit single! I really like how you change your style with each song, and I strongly believe that 'Paper Light' is gonna be a really good album. So, yeah, I love this collaboration between you and Erik!
