"Baby Boy" is the lead single for an upcoming Album by Aliya Rose. It was released on July 7th 2015, through major label Kaleidoscope Records. The song was written and produced by Melanie Houston, who actually wrote the song for "SYNCO". Synco rejected the song because it was 'too sexual', after being rejected, it got send to Aliya, who took the song for her upcoming Album. "Baby Boy" is an up-tempo Dancehall song which incorporates elements of raggamuffin.

"Baby Boy" starts off with the "Eh Eh's" and a catchy beat. 10 seconds later, the actual song starts with the Chorus, sung in a raspy and icy tone. After that, the first verse starts with "Tonight you gon' do it how I want it/Tonight you the servant I'm the queen yeah", the verse ends and the song continues with a catchy bridge. The brigde gets followed by the Chorus and after that with the second verse. After the verse ends, again the Bridge starts and gets continued with the Chrous. After, the chorus, the third verse starts, with the same tone as the ones before, and gets followed by the Bridge and Chorus. After that, the last verse starts sung in a completly different tone, kinda deeper yet softer, a little bit more emotional. After the last verse, the song ends with the catchy Chorus.

Lyrically, Aliya is asking a 'boy' if he's man enough to handle her. So, it's basically about sex, showed by "Tonight we ain't goin' soft nah/Tonight I'mma bring my freak out" and "Tonight I want it a little harder/Tonight baby you gon' give it all yeah".

After getting asked, how she felt about the song, she said : "I think it's a catchy song, and I'm really thankful that Melanie allowed me to record this song for my album.", when she got asked, how she felt knowing that she has fans who are really young and who are probably gonna listen to this song, she said : "You know, I don't really understand this kind of questions. There are so many sex songs out there, and I never saw the media asking a man this kind of questions. Why don't you guys ever ask a rapper or just a male singer, this kind of questions? And, to answer you question, I'm nobodies parent. I wouldn't want my niece or anybody who's really to hear this kind of music BUT isn't it the parents job to take care of it? I do get it. It's not good that these young children, hear music like this, it happens, but I doubt hard that my song is gonna change anything. There is already so much shit on the internet."
