Broadway is filled with a brilliant nightlife, and at the heart of it is The Garage music venue, bar & restaurant. The stylish bar/restaurant has live music performances on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The atmosphere is relaxed and chilled out, with the finest drinks being served. The venue is large whilst remaining cosy and staff are welcoming and helpful, with top notch cooks cooking the finest food. The venue in fact has two bars, one either side of the restaurant. So once you have finished your food you can proceed and have a quiet pint of our many quality beers, wines or spirits.

A large stage is present in front of the restaurant space so you can see live acts perform whilst you are eating.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights bands can play, and the tables will be removed to accommodate a larger crowd, in which case the venue can hold over 6,000 people. The performances will be recorded and put on sale, and they will be shown live on GarageTV and online at liveatthegarage.com.

For a table at the restaurant, book at liveatthegarage.com*. Entrance to the bar’s only is free however, but anyone who behaves inappropriately will be taken from the premises.
Alternatively, if you are a band or artist interested in performing, email at [email protected]* the name of your band and your genre.

Upcoming Acts
Panic! - Friday, 2nd October, 2009
Screaming In Silence - Thursday, 1st October 2009

Ooc: roleplay any activities in the bar/restaraunt here as well as performances, but performances will happen at a schedaled time and the bar will be closed three hours before hand, so you’ll have to send the performance to me and I’ll post it – that’s if anyones interested, so sign up! By the way, where the *’s were mean there not real so just PM me if you want to sign up to perform. Also, if you do sign up to perform, please actually perform. No worries if you don't want to though. Basically, it’s TDB/Spice Stadium.

Chris Adams was present at the opening ceromony, and as he cut the cloth balloons were let off into the cool Autumn wind. Everyone popped Champagne bottles and glasses clinked, The Garage was officially open for business.

Ben and Leslie sat together on the red cloth covered table, whilst a blues pianist was playing on the stage. He smiled at her and she smiled back. The waiter approached, dressed in a midnight blue tuxedo with black trousers. He had blonde hair and pale blue eyes. He had relaxed smile on his face and a note pad in his right hand.

"Hey, I'll have a fat steak please mate." He looked up at the waiter with a big fat grin on his face, like an idiot. He then looked over to Leslie and saw she was not happy with him. "What? Just because your weird doesn't mean I have to be to." She looked at him with horror.

"What did you just say?" She said, in angry whisper. "I am NOT weird. I just don't agree with certain things that your too idiotic to bother giving a second thought to."

"Oh so I'm the idiot for not eating what humans were DESIGNED to eat?" He said, breaking the whisper and verging on shouting. Everyone in the resteraunt turned and looked.

"Designed?? Humans can eat both numbnuts. Don't you get all mr. intellectual on me just because you went to Cambridge! Which you dropped out of anyway!"

"Yes well I was clever enough to get in wasn't I?"

"Pah! An intelligent junkie, that's something you dont see everyday." The argument by this time had turned into a shouting match and security were being called over.

"Junkie eh? Well your not too clever yourself prozzie." Her face turned bright red and she grabbed her class of wine and chucked it over him.

"Fuck off you twat!" She screamed at him as security grabbed the pair from behind.

Two burly bald men paraded them outside and gave them a stern talking to. Once the security had returned inside, Ben turned round to Leslie and she looked round at him. At first there faces were screwed up in anger, but within seconds they were reduced to a fit of laughter.

Volume 11 walks in

Ferret: Wow, this place is great
James: We'll have to remember to play here sometime
Erik: Let's get something to eat

They sit down at a table

Erik: I want some spaghetti, no fettucini Alfredo
Eddy: Same
Ferret: Nothing for me, just some water.
James: Hamburger please.
Dread: Salad

As they wait for their food to arrive

James: Wow, I can't believe we were only 7 away from the top 40 with Ghost Town.
Dread: Don't worry, we'll climb the charts.
Erik: Yeah, it'll be our first top 40 single.

Bret and Jenny walk in

Erik: Hey, is that Bret Tiger and Jenny?
James: Yeah, Hey guys! Over Here!
Bret: Hey, look, it's the Volume 11 guys.
Jenny: Let's sit with them, I want to catch up.

Bret and Jenny sit at Volume 11's table as the waiter comes back with the food

Bret: Ooh, I want a bacon cheeseburger!
Jenny: That sounds great, me too!

OOC: Kay, I miss bar roleplays. Anyone?

St. Jimmy and Favorite Son walked in the garage. They both seemed a lot tired and desperate to take some rest. Favorite Son walked to the barman and got 2 beers as fast as possible.
They sat on a table and waited to see if anyone they knew arrived.
"Gosh, we're so tired and this is just the european part of the tour..." Said St. Jimmy, sitting.
"And it's not even over yet." Replied Favorite Son.
"Man, I never thought I'd actually enjoy the idea of splitting up."
"We're just tired now. I'm sure we'll miss all this when we're done."

Billy walked in The Garage, approaching the bar. He asked the bartender for a vodka and sat down next to St. Jimmy.

"Hey guys, how's things?"

St. Jimmy: Just tired. Finishing up the European leg of our final tour. Just another 4 continents left! *laughs*
Favorite Son: Hey, I know you! You're the kid from that Hardcore band. You're amazing screaming and broke my heart with your recent album. *turns his back to Billy*
St. Jimmy: Oh right, close-minded Favorite Son is showing...
Favorite Son: I'm not close-minded. It's just that you guys had everything to be a neat hardcore band *pretends to cry before bursting out in laughter*

St. Jimmy: I still think we should have recorded an emo album instead of The Battleground is Still Red.
Favorite Son: Sure. And maybe we could slit our wrists on stage! That'd be my dream performance.
St. Jimmy: Ha ha, very funny.
Favorite Son: Seriously, stop with the emo crap. Someday I'll lock you on my basement and make you listen to toughguyhardcore HAHAHAH.

Bikki and Joshy walk in dressed in matching catsuits. They take their motorbike helmets off, and take a look around.
Joshy : Have I told you how much I luuurve your bike?
Bikki : Many a time. It's OK, I luuurve my Moto Morini too!
Joshy : Nice place they got here! I love TDB, but this is kind of different, y'know.
Bikki : Go get us a mocktail and we'll wait for Raven and "Jessica" to turn up.
They both rolled their eyes and giggled, almost at the same time, thinking of Raven's car. They went to sit at the bar and see if anyone they knew drank here.
