The waiter, clad in a dark black suit with a small black bow tie perched upon his collar walked through from the kitchen to the restaurant floor. Up on stage at the moment was a very cute young blues singer named Jessica Farrow. Her voice, to him, was magnificent. It's a shame these rich bastards didn't actually pay full attention to her voice. Jess is a regular fixture here, and she often comes in just to play short acoustic covers of her favourite songs, which are really nice to have in the background.
The waiter walked over to a young couple, apparently famous though he was more into Ray Charles than Dead Roses.
"Is the food satisfactory ma'am?" He asked, putting his best posh-but-friendly voice on. |

A large, round man walked onto the stage, welcomed by applause. Jessica waved off to the crowd and went backstage. The man coughed into the mic and adjusted it to reach his mouth. Which because of his slight stumpiness was rather difficult.
"Okay, ladies and gentlemen. I trust you are all enjoying your meals! As you can see from the size of me, I've been snacking myself! Anyway, onto the announcement. Next Friday afternoon the resteraunt will be closed to public. However, this will be because Birdie Award winning stars Panic! are playing live! If you're interested in getting tickets, there will be leaflets as you exit. That is all, and enjoy your meals!" |
