 OFFICIAL WEBSITE  MAGNOLIA is a band formed in 2014, in the US. The group was first a Japanese-YouTube sensation, posting videos of themselves covering japanese songs and dancing to them. The band got international attention after their first viral video, which got views of over 10 million. The members of the band are cousins, which were born in different countries. Akemi Ai was born in the US, in NY. Kikyo Nai was born in France, Lyon. Yuki Hartfeld was born in Germany, Berlin. The members of the group are currently living in a apartment in NYC.   Full Name: Akemi Ai Age: 20 Hometown: US, NY Origin: Japanese Bio: Akemi Ai was born June 21st, 1995 in the United States, New York to her parents Aya and Daiki. Even though Akemi grew up in the United States, Akemi learned to speak fluently Japanese. Growing up, Akemi always had the dream to be an 'Idol'. She started to take singing lessons with the age of 9 and dancing lessons with the age of 11. She has the strongest voice in the group, and is also the most passionate in the group.  Full Name: Kikyo Nai Age: 19 Hometown: France, Lyon Origin: Japanese Bio: Kikyo Nai was born December 6th, 1996 in France, Lyon to her parents Ayako and Hajime. Growing up, Kikyo was never interested in music or any other form involving Fame and Art. She dreamed of being a Teacher, and was really successful in school. When she finished her school, and was about to go to university to study, Akemi asked Kikyo to come over to the US and start a band. She disagreed first but duo to Akemi's begging, Kikyo went to the US and stayed there to create the group. Even though Kikyo has the weakest voice in the group, her voice gets praised alot for being 'cute' duo to her voice being very child-like. She speaks fluently ; French, Japanese, Russian and English.  Full Name: Yuki Hartfeld Age: 21 Hometown: Germany, Berlin Origin: Japanese/German Bio: Yuki Hartfeld was born October 9th, 1994 in Germany, Berlin to her parents Maki and Luca. Yuki loved singing since early age but never took it serious unlike acting. It was one of her biggest dreams to be an actress. Growing up, she was a troublemaker. She hated school, which is why she often skipped it. Later on, she went to a few castings and also made a few commercials before she to the US to start the group with Kikyo and Akemi.
