It seems the release of Billy Maddison's controversial music video to Irreplaceable has helped him massively in the charts.
Maddison, who released 'Irreplaceable' last week originally charted well, but failed to hit the top spot. Earlier this week Maddison, 31, released the music video for the track - a scathing attack on fellow musician Brisky - and, as a result, his single has shot up to the number 1 spot in the UK, and also charted in the top 20 all around Europe, and is well within the world's top 100 singles.
Maddison said he was "proud" of his version of the song, originally an RnB hit by Beyonce, and said he hopes this is a sign of more success to come.
Billy has been a sensational hit around Europe, the UK and the USA for the past year and has scored bucketfuls of top ten and top five hits, including two number one singles. His debut, self titled album also went to number one on its first week of release and remained there for a number of weeks afterwards. Last week, he was on Spice Magazine's "hot" list, and was also named as their artist of the month.
Somehow, we don't see Billy Maddison's good fortune disappearing just yet!!
