KingLouieB: With the conversation on contracts and labels, something that stuck out to me was: "labels aren't artist conservatories" or something along those lines. That's true. As someone who tried to get signed desperately last year, got a few contracts waved in my face and then ripped in half once I saw how some people were treated, I'll agree that a label's primary focus is generally business orientated, but that's what we as artists use them for: exposure and the ability to distribute our shit off-the-net. Here's what the real move is for people who want to get around labels --->
