GirlSpice songstress Sophia returns with brand new music, and it's perhaps her raunchiest single to date. It's a good time to be a GirlSpice fan lately, as the girls have all been active with their own projects this year, with Nadia Berry launching her very own Vegas residency, Chantal Hayes releasing her much anticipated solo album, and now new music from everyone's favourite ditzy blonde, Sophia. We've also seen a funny twist of events with the GirlSpice members, as Nadia Berry has faded from the spotlight a little, while we've seen Chantal step up to take that solo dominance, scoring three number one singles recently. Though whether we're going to witness the same happen to Sophia is yet to be seen, as we haven't had a new solo album from the singer since September 2014. However, it's not the greatest news for Sophia or her label, who likely had high hopes with the release, for it to only find its way onto the web before a premiere date was even announced. Though we're sure it's to the delight of Sophia fans who have been eager to hear the pop star's new music. The racy new track, said to be the lead single from the singer's third studio album, features those same signature dance beats heard on Sophia's last studio album, Temptation, only paired with even more sexually suggestive lyrics this time round, if that was possible. It's emotionally void and robo-pop (at its finest, if you're into that) but there's just something about hearing Sophia over a thumping dance track that makes us know summer's on the way. At last! What're your thoughts on the new single? And is Sophia going to live up to the success band mate Chantal Hayes has been having lately on the charts? Let us know! Hahahaha! I really love your work outside of Girl Spice. It's always so full of life and never fails to put a smile on my face. I'm not really a fan of dance music and all those pulsating beats but I do make an exception when it comes to your songs, they're just soooo good! Most of my music collection is filled with the late 90's/early 2000's pop I bought as a little kid and lots of Motown and R&B records...then there's my two Sophia albums sitting pretty, ready to brighten up my day when I need it, hehe! I can't get enough of this song and can't wait to add album three to my collection! :P OOC: Why aren't GirlSpice solo projects a real thing? I need more underrated pop QUEENS like Carly, Hilary and Gwen in my life! :P I could easily imagine listening to a pop bop like this on the radio and eventually spending some of my hard earned coins on it too. I really admire your skills as a songwriter. This song is not over complex in terms of lyrics and Sophia's agenda yet it's still a strongly written piece of work and doesn't read like a generic club song about sex. Great work as always! :)
