          "Permanent Reminder" is an American based record label founded by Matt Young (MattY) in early 2013. After his departure, the company was taken over by Symoné Banks, who decided to grab the reigns and take charge of the distressed label by deciding to revamp it and sign some new talent, which the label had been struggling to do for quite some time. After getting her degree in Business from NYU, the 28 year old worked as an office assistant for different labels including Interscope and Columbia Records. Afterwards, she pursued her dream of starting her own music business, and the opportunity came after former label owner Matt Young (MattY) stepped down as owner, for unknown reasons. She quickly made the decision to take over and reform the label.
She issued this statement;
"What I won't do, is let the company fall because of two people. Permanent Reminder is a business and it will thrive with or without Kidd Amaze and Carmen Grant but they were not and will never be above the label. It's a unit, a work in progress right now, but everyone will get relatively the same treatment. First and foremost, we're a business. I love a challenge, I love a good challenge. I won't lie, taking over a label is huge but I'm prepared for it at every aspect. I promise by the end of 2015, Permanent Reminder will be one of the top players in the label business. There's already some new talent and some familiar faces that have formally decided to sign with us, all genres, and we will continue with the already signed artists in order to continue to work and build with them. Next year, you will see our artists everywhere. I'm looking forward to taking this label to new heights, me and my team. We will be a one-man show in terms of providing the latest and top notch producers, writers, managers, equipment, nothing will be underdone. We have an amazing team that you'll be getting to know real soon."
