Eric DLux & Justin Credible Lift Off

Justin Credible: We have Kidd Amaze in the building and he is going to be on tour with the whole gang talking about welcome to the show Business as usual and some fan questions.

Kidd: Getting situated and putting headphones on before giving the thumbs up.

Eric DLux: So let's start off with the big news The Rappers Handbook was amazing the fans and critics loved it with a lot of positive reviews does it feel like you’re an afterthought when it comes to music?

Kidd: don't see myself as an afterthought I see myself as somebody that's just going out here making music. I want to be known as somebody that makes good music, I want to be known as somebody that when my music gets out there that people are going to stop what they're doing and they're going to try to listen to whatever I have to say. Music in universal, it's the world language and if people like it and want to listen to it over and over, I don't care what people try to attach to my name?

Justin Credible: What if it like Kidd and Cassie getting together as Airemese watch?

Kidd: SHHH! not out loud you will break the dream. Why do I always got to be f****** someone else I'm okay with threesomes. as long as I'm not getting out-shined threesomes are great. Sex fantasies or I'm actually a dick in real life and only pretend to be nice. Like I been called a man-whore, to asshole, I'm bipolar to anger management dealing with the gossip is like you still in grade school, and mouth always have something to say. You just have to roll with it and grow up.

Eric DLux: talking about how much you have grown as a person, I couldn't tell based on the music it still good, but there been a lot of changes in your personal life tell us about that?

Kidd: I really changed a lot since I first got here I remember when I first got my deal that it was really difficult for me to navigate between doing shows and doing all these other things that comes with being a musician that I wasn't really thinking at the time. now looking back at all the things that I've done to get this point you know I've been extremely blessed I've been really grateful for the opportunities that came my way and I'm just happy I'm still here.

Justin Credible: it is a different beast when you are on the other side of seat and have people giving you demos can you talk about what it is like wearing those hats?

Kidd: It is different, sometimes to can take for granted what goes on in the back, cause we just have guys and girls just come in with a clear slate and have them create something. Not every work is going to something to and say "it's perfect," there a lot of redoing, editing, mastering, putting the framework around there idea, building this project up and at time you have to look back and see if it is worth the effort, did they really put there heart into this, is it going to get their message across, are we doing things the best we can.

Justin Credible: So let's talk about the Just Record Label, what is it? Was this something that you talk to Matt about was this writing on the wall you saw with Permanent Reminder?

I know one be in a position where I was going to be forced to do something that I didn't want to do I wanted to be able to say that when I don't have anything left on my mind or anything else to say then I could just stop doing music and not having to put out from Network Faith are not even what I truly stand for. I never talk to Matt about it but we had long talks about a long of things

Eric DLux: I know you don't normally talk about but I just want to know what happen there at Permanent Reminder and how do you feel about that situation over there?

Kidd: I said it before I have only love and respect for Permanent Reminder, the people there made me who I am now. I don't have anything bad to say about the new management and how they do things. They came in there and saw there was a lot of things that was in there from Matt, and when Matt stepped away they wanted to put in things that were going to be set for them. I'm always open to working with others, and I hope that however they view me that see that I'm a hard worker who is talented, passionate about what he does and has a vision.

Justin Credible: So you on tour with some of the members on the label is it going to be knowing that they are going on tour with the boss?

Kidd: S***, is really going to be that weird. it's not like I'm going to eat you or something if something goes wrong I mean now if I'm doing it or now I'm having exposure and stuff with you and I thought this would be awesome good luck for people you gotta just make it seem like I'm dad and everybody is my kids and I'm going to be the one that's going to be f****** up s***.

Eric DLux: it has to be a little weird, this is their first trip around the world and opening up to a rap show when a lot of them are pop is that was you really Invision?

Kidd: I'm really here just to promote music I'm here to get people's dreams out I always wanted to be a reliable source for if you want good music you can come to me and if you want to get your music out there if you want to tell people what you want to hear that I'm the best person to go to say that's how I feel what my vision was when I try to do with labels like I wanted to be just for people that's where I do my music for that's what I do this business for.

Justin Credible: Johnny Carter might be a good example of the work that you guys did. He slowly making more and more noise nominated for newcomer of the year and out with a new song, is he as hard working as you?

Kidd: Johnny is a great worker you know he somebody that spends a lot of time and effort into this crappy somebody that really wants to be known as a good singer you somebody that loves music somebody that enjoys music put it out for his fans and everything I tell him that our fans are one of the most craziest fans out there like you're never going to see any crazier things then when you get the pop music.

Eric DLux: When you talk about the message of just recording and have you take care of the rest I think that really does good for artist that are already in the business and have a fan base. The likes of Kara and Mercedes really benefit from something like that

Kidd: when it comes to Kara I think you really just have to put the right people around her like she's really talented you can tell that she's talented but I think that she just needs people around here you can't just put her in that space then tell her okay I want you to do this this and this I wanted to be done a certain way.

Eric DLux: And lets talk about Erik young has that look that you want a pop star to have, but he just been lingering around like some others on the roster. Is there Pressure for you be competitive with the other labels?

Kidd: I really don't feel any pressure I don't pressure in my artist what I want and I just want the best I love you know I tell Eric that whenever he's ready he can go ahead and do what he wants to do. it's not hard making music for promises that you gotta know how to make good music and that's the thing like anybody can pick up two pencils and Beyond the best anybody can sing karaoke but it tastes like somebody real somebody that knows what they're doing in order to make a record and then have that go into people's ears and have that be something that they're going to live with for the rest of their lives and be like hey this is really good.

Eric DLux: With a lot of pop singers on your label and Permanent Reminder going for more of a pop sound new management,

UserPostedImage

Kidd: Yall really trying to get me in trouble. I guess that is just how it worked. I don't care about what happens to everyone else, I'm too busy to be concerned about what is happening with Permanent Reminder, or what's happening with FREEDOM, I'm just trying to keep this going and make this successful to look around and peak at competition, I really don't have time for it.

Justin Credible: Going back to tour, you released a secret concert on your website and YouTube is that concert something you wanted knowing that your going to be gearing up for this tour?

Kidd: people may not know this but those people that were at the concert for the people that have done the Productions and done the little small things that make that thing that CD so important to me. in those people they're the ones that set up the shows and they do the street teams and they do all the promotions and I even had a record label before you even had my CD come out you had to get people that we're going to be leaving you in those people believed in me before anything else really transpired I gave them this dream and they really bought into this dream. so that was just a little something to let them know that I'm always going to be there for them, one of the embassy my shower not why they're ever they're not I'm always going to be there to really give support because they were there to support me that you'll be there to help me if I just wanted to get my hand back.

Justin Credible: You always had this connection with your fans that not a lot of rappers could have what makes that bond so different and so special to you?

Kidd: that's really the only thing that matters to me right now it comes to music like people don't really understand how close I am with my friends cuz that the people that go out there and you was that hard on money to spend when I remember I had to do that. when I was coming up and listen to music and I love listening to Eric B and Rakim I was listening to Jay-Z you I will send the Kanye West and I was listening to all the guys out and music and I didn't have two dollars in my pocket I remember that these guys are the ones that were doing it big in there talking about Rolex's in big chains and big cars and all that so I want people to know that this is real I'm a real person and that stuff I talk about is what really happens and what I really sad because a lot of times you'll see thing on TV and it's never what it really seems to me like you're never going to see Jay-Z flossing every single day you're never going to see he's big-time rappers doing big things every day you might see them do it in the movies or in a club maybe one night or two nights in a row but you never going to see that happen every day and people may mistake these music videos and be like well they must do this all the time that's not true.

Eric DLux: You may think your private but the media is everywhere always taking pictures and getting stories?

Kidd: You need to know what you're really doing what you really are now have to be really careful about their brand and when I say brand I mean you have to be careful about your name because people can write all types of stories about you but it really just depends on your name and your character if people are going to believe what they say or not if you have the reputation of somebody that is going to go out clubbing every night and you're the one that's beating up women and you're the one that's doing the headlines for publicity think then when they do come up with stories are untrue people going to believe that anyway because of your record. so you just gotta be careful with your brand you gotta be careful with your name and just be careful with the thing that you put out there on your own people are going to say whatever they're going to say I don't remember when I coming out of people with talking all types of crazy s*** about me but you know someone that will stand true someone that they thought was true some of this stuff was really good I'll let them know yeah that's true yes that's all true no need to answer that because I don't even know why you going to bring that up.

Eric DLux: You talk about power couples you have Scott and Gia Rose-Hilton, Honor Wynter and Kai Rollins, Then we have you and your wife is it hard being famous and still trying to business and personal life in its own space

Kidd: I'm just happy you know I'm really happy I'm in a space right now where I don't have any problems which is weird because I normally deal with problems every single day you know I've never had this feeling where you could being in a relationship and have that feeling of they understand where I'm coming from and you know we're really different where we are very very different she is from a very rich successful family but she doesn't know that peanut butter and jelly can actually come in the same jar. that knockoffs are some of the things that you have to wear because you don't have the money for the real brand because a real brand cost a lot of money you just going to wear the knock off and just pretend like they're the real thing.

Justin Credible : Alright so we went to twitter and have some fans ask some questions to you?
UserPostedImage

@FrankieFoster: if rap rock didn't totally suck, who would Kidd work with today? (But it does suck,so please don't)

Umm that is a good question, what I would like to do would be like Run DMC meets Aerosmith so any bands that want to collab I'm open to it.

@Doge666: where does Kidd stand on the Austin vs Hayden thing?

What's going on with Austin and Hayden? I find it funny. That loyality right there but I tell you like I told Johnny like I told Erik tween girls are diehard fans. They will kiss the ground you walk on and you have to be able to handle that.

@JacksRagingBileDuct:do you have small hands?

Kidd: I don't have small hands, I mean I'm not a football or basketball player but I think I have normal hands at least twice the size of donald trump

@KayVersace: who is Kidd's favorite rapper out right now?

Kidd: I not suppose to say me for this one, I mean I think I am a pretty good rapper. But someone else other than me, I always like it when Isaac and Matt rap

@Kelz4Prez: what's your next record gonna sound like?

@bombs4kidds: WHEN ARE YOU AND LOTUS GONNA COLLAB FUCK AND GET MARRIED????????????????

Kidd: My number is the same and she knows it, I don't turn down good projects but shes going to have to give me something good. As for the other stuff, with me I'm pretty protective and don't too share too well. I don't know how that is going to work

@DopeBoiii: Next single from the rappers handbook?

Kidd: I don't know, I really don't I got some music videos coming though stay looking I'm going to give something while on tour

@BitchWat: What's your honest opinion on Payton? Who had the best verse on At the top??

Kidd: I like that ego, I have an ego I think it is fake just to pretend and give off what you think people would like to see. That twitter thing it's a young person thing. What you see is what you get with him so I have no problem with him. Who had the best verse, me. *Laughed* I thought I had the best verse, I told you had an ego.

@KeepItReal101: What's up Kidd, are you and Cassie going to release more music with Cassie V? Y'all make the best collabs!

Kidd: I always like working with Cassie it is always fun, so yea I will work with her again.

Eric DLux: Who was the most fun to Callab with?

Kidd: The most fun I had was with Liyah and Matt are a few things. then my second was when I collab with Carmen,

@YouBetterWorkBitch: What are your top favorite songs out right now ?

My favorite song is hurt, With Cassie Vanity New York, Kara has really been incredible.

@QueenAussie: Do you aspire to have a wax figure made out of you some day? :P

Kidd: I have a lot of tattoos and things I don't want my wax figure to be arrested for anything you know. Knowing me and how I would like to go out Wax isn't on my to do list. Now animated show? like Andre 3000 that will be a good look I could say some thing a teach lessons to the boys and girls.

OOC: I love interview RP's and this is definitely something I enjoyed reading. Kidd Amaze is honestly so chill and down to earth, when he speaks he sounds so determined to his music but also feels like he's just normal and not a celebrity and I like that about him. Nice job!

Erik: I enjoy writing songs for people TJ, I don't really feel the need to rush to push out my own solo music because I'm a songwriter first at heart. You're always telling me whenever I'm ready haha. Cool interview man see you on tour!
