Jared Nevo, also known to Hey Lolita fans as Scarface, returns with a brand new project that's quite the change from his musical days with Arianna Harley, as well as the material we heard on the singer/producer's first solo EP, entitled Lungs. Jared's new venture sees him take a step back from the recording booth and back into the production side of things, switching up his traditional sounds of indie pop/rock for summery electronic beats that show how versatile he is as a producer. With a full album in the works featuring a line-up of well-known pop/EDM vocalists, it's likely we'll be hearing Jared's new music a whole lot more within the club scene in the coming months. Though don't expect your average noisy, generic beat drop to rave to, as the production on "Your Love" is kept simple and mellow, making it the perfect summer song to chill out to.
This isn't the first time we've heard Jared and Nadia team up before, as he lent his efforts to the production of her critically acclaimed record Diamond in the Rough. Though these days, it's rare we hear Nadia Berry on new material, so we're sure "Your Love" will certainly come as a surprise to the singer's fans, considering her main priority seems to be her Vegas residency now. While Berry may not have the same star power she used to have a few years ago due to a clear lack of interest when it comes to pursuing her solo career further, it's songs like these we're reassured that she's more than capable of bringing her special touch to a song with her confident, distinctive vocals.
Overall, it's an unexpected career move on Jared's behalf, but judging from this song alone, we can only assume it's going to pay off.
