Poo Peter: We love the holidays as much as anyone else and we got the idea to put some presents underneath our trees. We are currently finishing a new album with the working title "Working for Out Titles", and the first single is called "Summer Vacation during Winter" and we made a Christmas b-side to keep the holiday theme going. These two songs are together released on a single, but since it's Christmas we also added a second disc, a live EP full of live tracks from a show we did in Osaka in Japan, so you can get that along with the new single!

Exclusive interview with the band! I: Interviewer, TB: The bitch, PP: Poo Peter, GIL: Gory I.Lids, RB: Robin Banks

I: How was it like putting out a new single?
TB: It was interesting. We're almost done recording our new album and we've never been so closed to finished when releasing the first single. The album is actually right around the corner.
I: What did you do during Christmas?
PP: We went on a trip to Norway and a little trip to Germany to talk with our label and plan the album release and we've done some touring to promote both our single and our raritities collection that came out a few months ago. Then we went to our hometown in Romania and just chilled. I think we've made our hometown better. It used to be filled with shitty bootleggers and shady gambling casinos that smelled like shiut. Now we have great bootleggers and shady casinos that smell somewhat good! We've recorded most of the album during Christmas.
I: Was it a great holiday?
GIL: No.
I: You decided to put out a live EP attached to the single. Why is that?
TB: We've never put out a live album, but we usually release a live EP when we have nothing else to release and we've become so used to the idea that it's almost a tradition. This time we actually did have something to release and it almost became a conflict, but we figured, why not put something extra on the single? It hasn't really worked though. We tried to go for a winter themed single and the first song is about going to Australia and spend winter where it's warm. It wasn't even a huge hit downunder. It's a fun song though.
I: The second song is a Christmas song, isn't it?
RB: Prince and so many other artists died this year and I wrote a song about something celebrating Christmas and honoring Prince by having a purple reindeer! Prince Buster died too. But this guy mostly cares about Prince.
I: Did Prince mean a lot to you?
RB: The song is written in character. I hate Prince.
