You can tell a lot about a band by its name. The name Anvil struck me as belonging to a certain type of band I cannot stand. Turns out I was right. |

ANVIL are pretty cool. The first three records are great early speed metal, and some of the later albums are pretty cool too. They were pretty influential back then, but I wouldn't put them in the same category as PRIEST and MAIDEN. No, ANVIL don't even come close.
