WeekendUpdatesUK: Here's a brief rundown of all the types of Weekend stans you may encounter.
WeekendUpdatesUK: The OG Stans - Here since day one. Appreciate all five members. Matured over the years and love welcoming new fans. Easy to talk to and know everything Weekend related.
WeekendUpdatesUK: The egotistical fan accounts - Think they are best friends with the boys. Met them once/got an RT and think they're besties. Usually fake knowing inside info for attention. Usually assholes called Chloe or Rebecca.
WeekendUpdatesUK: The dedicated & deprived overseas fans - Don't speak English well but do a better job at promo than most other fans. Trend EVERYTHING and are so appreciative of the boys. Hold the boys up like GODS.
WeekendUpdatesUK: OT4 (version 1) fans: They wish that Scott wasn't in the group. Think they are supportive of the other four but don't realise how nasty they are to an important part of the band. Spend more time hating Scott than loving the others.
WeekendUpdatesUK: OT4 (version 2) fans: Wish that Bilal was fired. They think he gives the band a bad name and they don't support his wild antics. They don't want a problematic band. Usually keep their dislike lowkey because Bilal isn't afraid to clap back.
WeekendUpdatesUK: "Bilal and his backing singers" fans: Deluded. Think that Billy is the lead vocalist just because he is heavily publicised. Don't realise how FOOLISH they sound when they dismiss the other members. Don't even listen to the music. Just exist to lust over Billy.
WeekendUpdatesUK: The feral fans: Have anger issues. Attack every other fan base. Still see all other male pop acts as enemies/rivals even though the boys are friends with lots of them. Makes other fandoms hate us because of their abuse.
WeekendUpdatesUK: REAL Billy fans: Funny and sassy as hell. Totally wish they were Billy. Actually show an interest in his life and don't just hang around for drama and nudes. Extremely defensive over him and all involved in his life.
WeekendUpdatesUK: REAL Riley fans: Try to be just like the KING. Always raising awareness of charities that Ri is part of. They all at least TRY to be OK with the Chaelin relationship even though some still aren't sold. Always seem to follow back.
WeekendUpdatesUK: REAL Oscar fans: Always worrying about him. They've seen the major shift in his personality over the years. Lowkey blame Billy. Always uploading pics of him and Eilidh. Totally distraught that Oscar suffers from vocal issues now. Want the glory days back.
WeekendUpdatesUK: REAL Scott fans: Defensive is too small a word. People try to knock Scott down, they build him up taller. Totally love his relationship with Jennifer and always try to build his confidence. Sometimes a little too generous when praising his voice though...
WeekendUpdatesUK: REAL Dustyn fans: Cute and cuddly just like Dusty. Hurt Dustyn and you're dead to them. They don't attack, they let karma kiss you and focus their attention on Dustyn instead. Quick to remind you how talented he is. Always posting clips of him singing live.
