BREAKING: Johnny Carter ATTACKED - Joshua Grimmie ARRESTED



Pop star Johnny Carter has suffered several injuries and was also allegedly knocked out for around five minutes following a "vicious" attack by ex-lover, Joshua Grimmie. Sources state that Grimmie launched an unprovoked attack on Carter when the pair accidentally crossed paths while attending the same nightclub in New York City. Staff from the club [which wishes to remain nameless] claim that Grimmie "erupted" when coming face to face with his ex-boyfriend and launched a tirade of insults before knocking Carter to the floor with one punch. It is has been said that Joshua then straddled Johnny on the floor of the club and continued to "brutally" thump him in the head, knocking Carter unconscious. The crowd looked on in bewilderment and fear as security broke up the scene. Joshua was detained until police arrived on the scene and the troubled star left in handcuffs.

Following a two year hiatus from not just the industry but social media platforms, Carter returned to the spotlight with new found passion and determination late last year. He released the chart topping single "Nice Guys" and is on the verge of releasing his highly anticipated sophomore album "Human" in the coming months. Things have been looking up for the star. Since his return, he has been cautious and has kept a low profile. His breakup with Grimmie has provided fodder for the online trolls. Johnny was out celebrating with a group of friends as one of them had recently gotten engaged, marking a very rare public appearance. Unfortunately, his first nightlife venture in 2020 saw him encounter Joshua of all people.

Grimmie was at the club with two friends, both of whom only encouraged the scrap with his ex. The trio were enjoying a night of drinking and witnesses say that Joshua was in high spirits up until he stumbled upon Johnny. When locking eyes on the floor, Grimmie allegedly made a beeline instantaneously and caused a scene. Onlookers recall Joshua going on a "foul mouthed rant" and claim that the singer dubbed his ex as a "disgusting piece of sh*t" among many other slurs. Johnny allegedly tried to reason with Joshua and keep attention to a minimum. When things escalated, it's been said that Johnny gave up and immediately tried to back away from the situation but couldn't make his escape before Grimmie threw the first punch.

No official statement from either party was ever released in regards to the demise of their relationship. In fact, neither of them outwardly revealed that they had split. It has only been suggested through ambiguous Tweets and the most obvious being Joshua's new relationship with Layla Sanchez, which in turn has been the centre of controversy as many believe Sanchez cheated on fellow pop star Austin Nimmo with Joshua. It has been rumoured that Joshua and Johnny broke up due to infidelity on Carter's behalf - something which Grimmie has vaguely alluded to by "liking" certain tweets about the subject. People also believe that Joshua Grimmie's bipolar and his declining mental health put a strain on the relationship; causing Carter to fall into a depressive period where he shunned the spotlight and no longer wanted to create. Regardless of the reasoning, it's clear that Joshua is still very heated about it.

Joshua Grimmie is currently in police custody at the time of writing this article. Onlookers say that the star did not wish to cooperate with authorities and had to be taken by force. The New Jersey singer has expressed his dislike of the American police and justice system several times. Grimmie was also arrested for assault in 2018 after punching a protester from Westboro Baptist Church. The proudly pansexual singer later revealed he felt "good" about the situation. With a previous arrest and a well documented history of mental breakdowns (the star was sent to a wellness facility in early 2019), fans are worried about Joshua as they have no idea surrounding the motive of the attack on Johnny Carter.

BREAKING NEWS: Ashley Grimmie found DEAD aged 25 in her New Jersey home



Singer and reality TV personality Ashley Grimmie has been found dead at her home in Westfield, New Jersey. She was 25. The songstress, who took part in the highest rated season of Star Factory and the lauded fourth season of Celebrity Big Brother, was discovered by police on Sunday afternoon after they were sent over by the Grimmie family and her boyfriend and fellow singer Blake Williams for a welfare check. Williams had been in L.A. over the last week and was concerned when he could no longer seem to contact Ashley over the weekend. Grimmie's parents raised the alarm when they realised that nobody had seen or heard from their daughter for 3 days and they couldn't gain access to the property. Her death is currently being treated as "unexplained" but sources say that she died from an overdose.

New Jersey police said: "We were contacted by Mr and Mrs Grimmie on the morning of 24th February, who believed their daughter had gone missing. Unable to access the address of Miss Ashley Grimmie, the authorities intervened and entered the property at approximately 14:05 hours. On arrival, officers found the body of a 25-year-old female who was pronounced dead at the scene."

Grimmie was last seen on 18th February 2020 by her young brother and fellow singer-songwriter, Joshua Grimmie. Ashley had been over at the troubled youngster's house to check up on his state following an assault charge and alleged drug abuse, leading to yet another public breakdown. Ashley's boyfriend claimed that the last he heard from the starlet was on the evening of 20th February 2020 on a phone call. Williams stated that nothing sounded out of the ordinary with Grimmie and even stated that she sounded in "high spirits".

Ashley's parents released a statement today which read: "We can confirm that our angel Ashley passed away today on February 24th. We are struggling to process what has happened to our daughter and family. We are in complete shock and totally devastated at these tragic events. Ashley was a wonderful young girl with an abundance and love and talent. Her future seemed so bright. We ask that the press respect the privacy of our family at this time." Blake Williams also reinforced the need for privacy during this upsetting time and added; "This is the saddest day of my life. I can't quite get my head around it. This doesn't seem real. Ashley was a very special girl. I'll love her forever." Joshua Grimmie has yet to publicly comment on the loss of his sister.

Ashley lived a seemingly quiet life with a good relationship with the media, however, often found herself caught up in controversy due to those in her close circle. Her boyfriend Blake Williams, has been involved in many spats with other showbiz folk and has been engaging in a long and high profile verbal battle with ex-boyfriend and Weekend member Dustyn Blue-Conners. Ashley's younger brother Joshua is also no stranger to a scandal; often losing his temper online, having two assault incidents to his name, constantly firing members of his team, having mental health breakdowns in public and engaging in heated political debates. Both Blake and Joshua have also been linked to incidents of drug abuse.

The future once looked bright for Ashley Grimmie. She was well received on Star Factory and released a critically acclaimed EP titled "Underdog", a nod to her surprise victory on the show. Her stint in Celebrity Big Brother 4 was also praised; surviving numerous weeks inside the house and providing memorable moments in the season. Ashley was set to release a self-titled album in 2018. The lead single "Wrong Again" was released to universal praise and peaked within the top 10 on the Chart Heat Singles. However, plans for the album were ultimately shelved without explanation. Since then, Grimmie stepped back from being at the forefront of the business and seemed content on being a loving daughter, sister and girlfriend. Many believe that Ashley halted her own career to provide some stability for those around her who needed it most.

Nick Urie Gets Candid With Culture Uncut: “Part of Cupid is about making love with a guy for the first time.”



Naughty! Eighteen year old newcomer Nick Urie got super candid with Culture Uncut this morning about the subject matter of his new single “Cupid” that was released this week. Earlier this week when the record was released fans began speculating about the subject matter of the song as the song hints at some questionable topics and seems as if it’s dedicated to someone in particular.

In an interview earlier this week with That Music Site, Nick went on to explain the subject matter was inspired by “Love and Valentines Day”. Nick went on to say “I think that’s what really inspired me to write Cupid. It’s kind of cliche but it’s real you know? Having strong feelings really makes writing about love that much easier, and it was in the month of February that I wrote and recorded the song. That feeling when you realize that you really are into someone...it’s like Cupid shot you. It’s real I’m telling you.”

After Nick stated this in the interview, rumors begin spreading that Nick was romantically involved with someone known within the music industry, Nick has yet to confirm or deny the speculation.



However, earlier today our sources caught up to Nick as screaming fans waited for him to leave rehearsals for an upcoming show. As Nick was being paraded into a white Lexus truck our source asked Nick who he was singing about on the hot new record and Nick candidly responded: “It really shouldn’t be a big deal but part of Cupid is about making love with a guy..for the first time..” before the doors of Nick’s vehicle was shut by security and Urie was driven off.

Whether he was joking or not, we were impressed by how candid the 18 year old was with his response to us as. His older siblings have been known to be rather low key, and less open with their love life so it came as a surprise to us. The fact that the young up and comer was so open about such a thing made us feel as though stars are becoming more comfortable with their sexuality.
