To be honest with you I thought this album wouldn't be good at all. I bought their first album because of the song "Voices" and thought that the band was alright. When I heard "Changing" off of this CD I had to check out the rest of the album and I think it is like way better then their first album. My favorite song from it would have to be either "Changing" or "The Alarming Sound Of A Still Small Voice". Anyone fans? |

I totally loved this album. Found out a few weeks ago that they had released an album this year and downloaded it. I wasn't much a fan, but the album won me. Changing and I Keep my Secrets Safe (yay for the screaming!) are my top favorites, although I like every single song in it. The bonuses are also amazing, specially the acoustic version of Changing.
Cove > Anthony. |
I own:
Andrew Guinnard (Post-punk/acoustic) Lucy Tankeray (Pop diva/weird) |

Mehh I'll be the staple old fashioned one who says Anthony > Cove, but I really enjoy everything Anthony does anyway. The first album, I have, and is quite a good album, but it's not something I can sit through start to finish, and this album is kinda the same really. |

It took me a few listens to like it but the more I listen to it now the more I like it. I think Anthony is a better singer. But Cove is still good. |

What a heap of shit. Hated it. Cove is utter bollocks, horrible. It's just the same old average bleugh that's just utterly nothing special and BORING. Give me my Coheed any day |

Give me my Coheed any day Cove is FAR from utter bollocks as a singer. He can do a lot with his voice as many musicians can't, and it makes Saosin kinda unique in that aspect. Only one I could define being vaguely similar is Craig Owens of ex-Chiodos, but he has far more range to his. But then, I find Coheed boring :P So as you will. |

Cove is average, his voice isn't special. For the majority of that album it's same old same old. It's just so whiney and annoying. The album just doesn't have anything that bursts out at you. And Claudio Sanchez has a brilliant voice, even if you don't like the music you must realise his vocal talent. I much prefer his voice, it's got a lot more ooompff to it. |

Seems like an amateur version of Cedric Bixler-Zavala to me. Anyway, Saosin? Eugh. It's like... I don't know quite how to describe it. It's like Arena Emo or something. That slick horrible bland epicness... A real turn off frankly. Edited by user 29 October 2009 10:28:13(UTC)

Really? Seems like an amateur version of Cedric Bixler-Zavala to me. They're both very talented singers, Cedric moreso, but as a personal preference I prefer Claudio. |
