JoshuaGrimmie: I've been sitting with this for the last few days, just trying to collect my thoughts and let it brew. As you know, I've taken a lengthy break from social media for my own mental health and while getting passionate about serious issues like this can make me spiral sometimes, I can't sit back and say nothing. To be silent is to be complicit. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Theses fuckers cried themselves to sleep over people SILENTLY and PEACEFULLY kneeling in protest during the (rather shitty) National Anthem. That really rocked the boat. Now they're saying making NOISE and taking ACTION is WRONG??? Make it make sense!!!

JoshuaGrimmie: The police/government don't like anyone to question them. We're a country that loves to brag about our "freedom" but don't DARE open your mouth, am I right folks? Seriously, there is no "right" way to take a stand in their eyes. You're only a "good citizen" if you sit back and say nothing. NO MORE!!! Too many people have lost their lives to a deeply corrupted system. When MILLIONS of people FEAR you, you aren't doing the whole "protect and serve" thing correctly. You want to talk about THUGS??? I'd put more trust into a complete stranger than a US police officer. They aren't supporters, they are OPPRESSORS!!

JoshuaGrimmie: Those who don't see the pig scum as oppressors are those protected by them. Those who don't suffer at the hands of them. The whitest of the white. The most toothless of the toothless. Protect and serve all the Karens and Keiths! People of color? Sadly you're seen as an enemy just walking down the street let alone if you step up to them. Just the other week we had a bunch of crazies (mainly WHITE REPUBLICANS) protesting about quarantine guidelines and not wanting to wear masks. Literally BRANDISHING WEAPONS and screaming in the faces of officers and what did the police do? FUCK ALL. They stood there and took it. A Black man is unjustly murdered and people are rightfully outraged? Well, clearly that calls for riot shields, pepper spray, every officer possible called to the scene, jail buses....yeah, tell me again that they aren't fucking racist.

JoshuaGrimmie: As a queer man, I'm a minority to an extent but I'm white. I have privilege. While homophobia also runs deep within the system, at face value, I'd be "OK" with them as a white guy. If I fear them I can't begin to imagine what my Black, Asian, Latinx brothers and sisters feel. This is NOT just a "Black issue". The Black community has suffered enough at the hands of the scum. We as white people need to acknowledge and USE OUR PRIVILEGE for the greater good. This is not an issue for "others". We are ALL HUMAN. As sad as it is to say, our voices are seemingly heard louder and respected by the scum far more than any other group so USE YOUR FUCKING VOICES! We have to show our support as ALLIES. Not overshadow, not make this about us but as allies. Attend the right events, don't overstep the mark and PUT OUR VOICES TOGETHER. DO NOT SIT BACK. THE TIME IS NOW.
