"Prior to dating David, I had always been self conscious about how I am represented in the media as a bisexual man; because due to my sexual orientation it is always been hard to appeal to straight women both musically and romantically. NickUrie: My debut album, The First Time is out on Monday!!! My hope is that my songs allow you to escape such a rough time in society and just enjoy songs I’ve written and co-produced from my heart. I recorded majority of this album while quarantined but I feel like it allowed to really divert my attention to the music making process. Never in a million years did I think I’d be here releasing my first album in 2020. It all seems so surreal but there’s nothing like the first time 💛 2 more songs to go and the album it out in full!
