 Dj Rashai debuts in the music industry with '1001 Nights', a song written in collaboration with husband Den Walnut and entirely produced by Dj Rashai.
The song also features two big urban names in the industry, Deneil and Payton and the newcomer, member of Pop quintet The Jollies, Zafari. The song is released throug the 'La Familia' record label on August 2nd, 2020.
The overall sound of the song has urban influences as well as Arabian folk elements, that recall the whole theme of the song which is a tribute to a part of the Arabian culture that Dj Rashai seems to defend and be very passionate about. The whole lyrics are a mixture of a modern love story with hints at the arabian culture and story of the 'One Thousand and One Nights' stories famous in the Middle Eastern folk. Deneil in his first verse raps in his own edgy way about stories like 'Aladdin' or 'Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves' remarking modern themes like discrimination, introducing the whole theme of the song and also states the link between these Arabian culture hints and the love story talked about in the song.
Zafari then sings the next short verse that leads to the chorus part, he sings two lines first in English, then the same line he repeats it in Arabian but it means the same thing and it's a quote of the 'One Thousand and One Nights'. He sings in both a little louder than Deneil, breaking the rap and going a little more soulful and melodic, letting out a loud manly voice. The chorus part is characterised by a more detailed drum beat, which takes the song more into the Dance genre and is also mostly instrumental as it gets only introduced by a few strong lines sung by Zafari. It's almost like Dj Rashai takes the lead with his Dj skills in the instrumental of the chorus.
Payton sings right after the instrumental stops to let him take the lead and with his fierce attitude on rapping, he goes on the next verse with other themes from the Arabian Nights mixed to the love story that continues through the song.
Then after another chorus introduced by Zafari with the following instrumental part, Zafari introduces another chorus but in a slightly different way working this as the middle 8 of the song and simply sings new lines which follow the same melody sung by him before but with an important meaning that talks about the importance of the Arabian culture.
The song eventually ends showing more skills of Dj Rashai who develops the beat through the end of the song in the last intrumental, not boring the listener with the same melody but rather adding or removing instruments typical of an Arabian song.
