Mariko was aware of who Selene was,but never had met her properly. Still,she was sad. if the islands were ever combined, that was one less person that she would know.

Selene was visibly annoyed that she was evicted. She felt like things were going great. She actually passed the challenged even though it was hard and yet she got voted off against people who didn't even try. This was the payoff for her handwork. She sighed and shrugged then stood. She was actually enjoying being there but now it was time to leave. She waved at the rest of the contestants and the audience. Tatiyana was legitimately shocked she wasn't sent home. "SO KEGAN, WHAT IS THE CHALLENGE FOR TODAY? I KNOW IT'S A GOOD ONE. I LOVE AN EVIL CHALLENGE"Kegan takes the lead.
"Definately, Claire. So today we have an interesting challenge. WATCH THE SNAKES. So I suppose you can tell already what is going to happen here.
Two big tanks full of snakes are taken into the Palapa, in front of all the contestants.
"...So I'm introducing you to the protagonists of this challenge.
Rules are simple: at least five contestants of each island have to step into a tank and stay there, among the snakes without moving of course and without escaping for at least 10 minutes each contestant. Contestants who escape will not be able to try again!
Both groups can win here and who wins gets the chance to win portions of pasta with different ingredients for all the contestants everyday for a week, that you will find on the boat."
"CHALLENGE STARTS NOW, BOTH GROUPS TOGETHER. AT LEAST 5 OF EACH GROUP HAVE TO DO THIS TO WIN, YOU HAVE 1 HOUR AND HALF TO TAKE ON THE CHALLENGE. THE NEW CONTESTANTS LEE-YUNG AND JT WILL NOT TAKE PART OF THIS AS THEY HAVE JUST COME AND DON'T HAVE A GROUP YET."
OOC: Guys we have the full day to do the challenge now, so just take it easy and relax with the RP, no rush on it. Tomorrow morning with the end of the show the challenge will finish. Mi-Ah was almost white as a ghost when she saw the tank full of snakes. She was not sure how she was going to go about this challenge. She really did not like snakes and 10 minutes was such a long time in her mind. She looks at Lydia and Mariko. "Do you guys like snakes?" |

Mariko leans over to Lydia and flatly says," this is a load of barnacles." And then returns to her upright position.
Lydia stares straight ahead and starts trying to stop the little giggle that is raising in her. It's s losing battle since the tone in which Mariko said it and the fact they were both thinking the same thing. Lydia finally lets out the loudest guffaw until she's out of air and just silently laughing.

Rose looks terrified at the snakes, she closes her eyes and covers her face. That's a total fear of her. "Oh my...." She can't even speak. Natasha tries to console her and looks at Mi-Ah, Lydia and Mariko. "Girls... I don't know" She sighs. "This looks too much."
Zafari laughs nervously. "Whoa, nice there! Nice babies".
David just shakes his head and turns to look at the others. "I bet Alex is going to do this" He shouts. "Go macho!"
Fabriano just stays silent and studies the situation.

Mariko looks at the tank and at mi-ah. She just silently shakes her head rapidly. " No." She whispers. " Do you?" She asks as quietly.
Lydia smirks and looks to mi-ah and to Mariko. She may have failed the pepper thing,but this? This was nothing. " I'll do it in my underwear!" She claims boldly and raised her hand to volunteer. " I'll sleep in there if you wish. Snakes do not bother me. I've got a ball python at home." She is happy this is something she could easily do. |
