The young Detroit native Younghood new single "Tune It Up" is reportedly the beginning of his first studio album "Untold Stories" which is going to be released sometime this year. He has released singles and EPs but he has yet to get his album ready and he talks about how he feels that now is the time to do his rollout for his first big project.
"I originally wanted to do something different but I just didn't feel like it was the right time. I wanted this to be special and I took my time with everything but I know that rap especially street rap is in a different space and that where I was when I came out. I'm glad I was able to really sit down at not just rush through it all. When I first got signed I wanted to get it all. I was hungry and just wanted everything. I think that is one of the reasons why I rubbed some people the wrong way," In talks about this new single
"Tune It Up," he talked about how this single is an upbeat feel to it while still keeping that street feel to it when you hear it. "I wanted this song to be fun but I also wanted to approach it in a way that people will understand what goes on. I wrote it pre-lockdown so when I listened to it, it reminds me of an easier time which is crazy to say but it is what it is and I feel that people will also get a sense of that." (Hook)
