Location: SSE Arena - London, England (UK)The Fan Choice Awards VIII is the eith installment of the popular award show founded and created by Damion Holmes first aired in 2011. The FCA's are voted by the general public, who cast their vote through online voting thus giving the fans and general public a chance to display their importance to music and pop culture unlike any other award show. This years event will be held in late March, 2021 at the SSE Arena in London, England. This will the second time in which the FCA's will be returning home to England in over five years. This year, new awards have been implemented which includes Favorite Latin Act and Favorite K-Pop Act. Furthermore, awards for Favorite Indie/Alternative Act and Favorite Indie/Alternative Single have been edited to just favorite Alternative Act and Favorite Alternative single to add more variance to acts who can be nominated. Following the success of the Fan Choice Awards VII, Damion Holmes announced in December that the Fan Choice Awards will be holding a second event in 2021 to make up for the "lost time" of award shows. On January 21st, 2021 the Fan Choice Awards 8 was officially announced that K.Lloyd, Erich Hess and Cassie Valentine will be taking on hosting duties, the first time in which a trio would be hosting the event since 2015. Also announced on January 21st, the quirky and fun Jollies band was announced as the FCA's pre show host which will include the FCA's infamous red carpet and pre-show award ceremonies as well as pre show performances. Gemma Kane was also announced to return to reveal all nominees in the second nominations reveal event that will take place in March. The official nomination and plugging eligibility period ranges from July 6th, 2020 - February 21st, 2021

Although there is no pressure to plug, it's imperative that we have enough plugs to move forward with the show. Therefore, I highly recommend that any active or semi active members plug for awards that apply for their characters. There are plenty of categories, some of which apply for characters who have not released any music over the eligibility period. Each plug matters and hosts can only move forward with the nomination process and writing up of the show if we have enough plugs.
