Tokyo Street Life is the debut single of fellow BYS rapper Kyle, recorded and written by the young man himself. While BYS hasn't done much after their "All Over U" single they have been working on new music. Kyle himself has been pretty busy when possibly working on an EP outside of the group itself. Kyle apparently had this song in the works for a while but needed management and the label to sign off on this project, they also needed to assure that this wasn't a means to leave the group. Recorded in December of 2020 and released 2/18 of 2021 this single talks about an urban style of like in Tokyo. Tokyo is known for its vibrant night scene. Lyrically he pulls some from otaku culture, but also pop culture. With references to Avengers, Kabuki-chō the red light district of Japan, ahegao, which means o-face or moaning face that would in Japanese pornography. Gone are the days of a young boy, has he makes a reference of how he has come of age mentioning the popular coming of age story of Beastars.
