  I met Peter Pan, but I was really trying to meet Captain HOOK ;) Peter Pan looked like he was suffering in that costume so I had to make the poor guy laugh at least. People Movers couldn't handle all of my sass and fierceness. They have yet to see the best of me.

I'm ready for California, but is California ready for me? Excited about this trip, so many cool sets I'll be visiting. Will also be going to Hollywood Universal and of course I'll be making a stop at Disneyland but looking forward to strutting down the Hollywood Walk of Fame ;) I will make sure to stomp extra hard when I walk on Donald Dump's star but anywho I'm ready to soak the sun in. Not mentally prepared for an earthquake though *knocks on wood*

New haircut! Brought out the fo-hawk! Confession. I've never put hair dye on my hair but might this weekend! Thinking for going red for some Halloween vibes.

So had the best night last night celebrating my girlies birthday, I donβt usually post pictures of myself on here but I think I look semi alright in this picture so I figured why the hell not, older members will be able to guess (I hope) which one I am but the newer members might not, Iβll let you try and guess haha  |

 What can I say? After 22 years of hardcore supporting through thick and thin, I FINALLY got to meet SUGABABES- the original and my personal favourite line-up of my most favourite band ever. I vividly remember seeing and hearing these ladies for the first time. I was 4 years old, about to head out the door to nursery school with my dad but I was frozen in amazement as their debut single βOverloadβ came on TV. I was mesmerised by their voices and the simple yet iconic music video. It was a love affair ever since. I grew up supporting and collecting all things Sugababes as a kid. Albums, singles, imports, all through solo careers, line-up changes, sad departures and also had their backs during all the bull that comes with being in the spotlight. In 2009, the band was left with NO original members. Simply three gradual replacements performing under the name. My back was UP! IMPOSTERS! The original three ladies reunited in 2012 and my heart was full again but due to legal bullshit and industry politics, couldn't use the band name - the name that they created for the band they formed! After going by 'MKS' for the best part of a decade, my favourite girls finally have their name back and are SUGABABES in good standing again! It's a bumpy ride being a Sugababes fan but the payoff is so rewarding. I feel like most queer British boys my age have a favourite Sugababes lineup / member in the revolving door line-up throughout the 2000's and this was mine. Keisha (the original longest serving member) has always been my favourite 'Babe since I was 4 years old so for her to be cosying into my arm in this picture?!?! Insane. Getting to meet, hug, chat with and be right at the barrier with these incredible ladies is a full circle moment. Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan performing under the Sugababes name again and my smug face wedged right in between them...somehow everything seems right in the world again!  |
