A bare vocal playback of Ryan singing in a pitchy falsetto is heard at the start of the clip. "It's 2am / And we are spinning / Your phone is buzzing / There's no reply / A little se-" Ryan motions with his hand to stop the playback and sighs out, rubbing his hands over his face in frustration. "No, no, no. I fucking hate that. That's terrible. Ugh! Why can't I get this vocal run down?!" He leans back on the couch, murmuring something inaudible under his breath. "E.G, can I hear the loop drums and synths for that first verse again?" He directs looking off-screen, putting headphones on to seemingly sing again. "The irony if I lay this verse at 1:47am." Ryan chuckles, his face looking tired and sleepy eyed as the short clip fades to black.

When you plug in your headphones and hit play on "All In" later this week, you will hear a song that kicked my ass. It was vocally the hardest track for me to record on the album. Maybe the most challenging ever, post my vocal surgery in 2012. I wanted to hit notes that simply were out of my wheelhouse to create the vision I had of what would make "All In" perfect. The most beautiful thing about opening the door of your creative process to someone else is that they can lift you up and guide you towards new ideas when you think you have nothing left in the playbook. Thank you @EGSummers. You deserve all the credit for this one. The song was worth the fight to get right. I think you will all love it. Get your dancing shoes ready. #AllIn

HOLLYWOOD ENVY 7.30 #teaser




The music video video teaser opens up with a panoramic view of Los Angeles from Daniel's luxurious condo apartment. A jazzy soulful record is heard playing as the sound of wine pouring into a glass is then evidently heard over the music.

The shot then moves to Daniel and an unnamed woman who are seen having dinner at Daniel's luxurious condo dining area. He's seen wearing a suit with his jet black hair slicked back; giving off a classic Hollywood look. The British woman is also seen wearing a beautiful revealing red dress. She seems nervous but determined .

"Enjoying yourself?" Daniel says with a British accent which continuous throughout the conversation.
"This place must of cost you a fortune, I mean you can see the Hollywood sign from your window!" she says mesmerized by the lucrative view.
"Only killed a couple careers for it" Daniel jokingly says with a wink as he takes a sip of his red wine.
"Daniel, I want to be star!" she says exclaims as she pauses for a brief moment. "Can you make me a star".

Both the woman and Daniel pause as the moment intensifies. After a few seconds of silence and deep stares.

"Darling, I can make you a legend" he says in serious tone before he takes another sip of his wine.
"I can make you everything the coke whores in Hollywood wish they could be" Daniel continues in an even more serious British tone.
"But all of that comes with a price you know".

"Are you asking me to have sex with you" she says acting frightened.
"Are you kidding? Good heavens no." Daniel fight back. "I do need a favor from you though?". he says as he gets up from the table with the glass of wine in his hands.

"Are you willing..." he pauses as he begins to feel startled. "Are.." he starts getting dizzy as he drops his glass of wine to the ground and passes out on the ground.

The scene cuts with Daniel passed out on the floor and the unnamed woman pulling him away into a room. The jazzy/orchestral music grows louder and somewhat distorted as the letters "HOLLYWOOD ENVY" appear on the screen in capital letters.

Hey folks,
Time for a quick music update. I announced a couple of weeks ago that I was going on some sort of hiatus. What people don't know is while I was on a "hiatus"; I really was just focusing on myself and my music. Aside from releasing my music and scrapping an expensive album (this is why record labels wont sign me), last year my focus was placed on producing and developing many artists under my new company Freenerd Management. That has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life and I'm close to checking off that box on my list of goals. I owe all of these artists my respect for trusting in me to develop them and dive into their own unique worlds. I won't lie and say my head wasn't spinning when one day I was producing a K-pop record and the next I was doing a country or alternative rock record (cough cough Mr. Spoons). Challenging myself to take on all of these different genres is such a rewarding experience. It has opened my mind to so different approaches to take in music, including my own which also takes me to my new album "Pop Star Disorders".

This is my post personal album to date. I've made albums in the past that have focused on the artistic fantasies I've had in my head, but this album focuses more on the personal human side of me. I always been hesitant to do that on an album because I like to keep a sense of secrecy and privacy to me but I feel that in order to grow on an artist you can't get stuck on the same wheel. Some of the topics I discuss on this album may be a bit disturbing or feel uncomfortable to some because it's so real and in your face but I felt it was important to be vulnerable.

This album will be tackling topics like fame, drugs and more importantly my mental health. People glamorize mental health or even weaponize it. It's something that I feel we don't talk about enough. Hollywood and so many things in life. None of these things mean anything but they can definitely have an influence on you. The past two years have been traumatizing behind the scenes in both my personal life and professional life. Even with legal threats hovering over my head I'm taking the risk to talk about things I've been holding back. I've seen and experienced so many things I wish I hadn't. I'm putting them all into this album.

I will say that this is also my most mature album to date; from a musician stand point, I wanted to create something a bit more sophisticated and put together. I focused heavily on the instrumentation and show my musicianship. Lyrically I'm also being a bit less about the nursey rhymes and more about just speaking to what just came to mind. Vocally I wanted to use my chest voice so you can hear me more and be less drowned out in the tracks. All of these things are things I took notice from previous albums and I took the opportunity to avoid them on this one. So with that being said....

I present you the album cover of "Pop Star Disorders". The album will be released in a couple of weeks and each song on the album was solely written, produced and engineered by me. No features. No duets. No collaborations. Just me on an album.

Final listen to Pop Star Disorders..... (I said this 2 weeks ago btw and 2 weeks prior to that) BTW guys this album only has 9 songs. You know that's my favorite number and the number 6 is too but that would be a EP but if you turn the 9 180 degrees it's still a 6 :D I need sleep.
