Q: Congratulations on becoming a dad! How did becoming a father impact the band or making the new music? #askspoons
A: The only difference now is that I take breaks in between sessions to change diapers, while my wife pumps breast milk for our little one and more corny dad jokes. I'm truly unapologetic about it in the most funny way possible. The guys are truly a great support system during this beautiful time in my life. They are practically uncles. Our kid is blessed with so many uncles.
Q: What's the difference between the Spoons band and Silver Spoons? #askspoons
A: Not to throw myself under the bus but I kind of like to escape this Silver Spoons country artists persona when they hear my name and that's when the Spoons band comes into play. I feel like I can escape the Hollywood bullshit. At least for a bit.
Q: What inspired the title of the new album "People"? #askspoons
A: Honestly the pandemic did. We become more social conscious as a society. I never realized how separated we are as people until the pandemic happened and now we are more separated than ever. It's just an observation that inspired us to think about how grateful we feel to have simple interactions with people from time to time. But we are going to be honest this album is 90% about sex. It's about the sexual/physical interactions between humans. We feel more liberated to write songs that are more straightforward and direct.
Q: What's different about "People" from "Man of Your Dreams"? #askspoons
A: "Man of Your Dreams" was more melodramatic and built on fantasy. It also sonically had more of a nostalgic factor. Most tracks sound like they could be recorded with 80's and 90's sound engineering equipment which is something we were obsessed with when making that album. So far "People" is far more human and current with sound. It also features more vocals from some of the other members. Unlike "Dreams", we all recorded this album together in the studio. It created a new bond we didn't have before and we're still finishing the album and the bond is just growing stronger each day.
Q: What can we expect from "Touch"? #askspoons
A: "Touch" is a very sexual song but it's our "pop" record moment; with some edge of course. The song was co-produced by Stephanie Fierce. What? Mrs. Fierce produced this record? Hell yeah. I would of never thought my ex from 13 years ago would be producing one of my records but hey this industry is truly unpredictable. You never know what you gonna get.

Secretly Suzie has been on her bad behavior since her marriage, that BYS management blames Celebrity Big Brother for creating a rift between Kyle and the other boys.
